Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. I am smiha and i apologize for meeting you via photo booth, but i forgot to film an intro. It turns out so we're doing it this way, but i'm going to be showing you how i style my shag haircut and curtain bangs. So the first way i'm going to be showing you is using heat. So i'm going to be using like a hair, dryer and then the second way is without heat, but still getting my carton bags to look good. So you know lots to look forward to someone dm me asking what i asked for when i got my hair cut, and the annoying thing is is that my mom actually cut it in lockdown and then after locked down. I just went to the hairdresser's for them to like fix it up, and so i didn't like specifically ask for anything, but basically just ask for like a shower car, car and carson banks. But if anyone wants a 360 of my hair, then i can do that. Now this is what it looks like at the back. It'S a little damp now because i just got out in the shower, but yeah okay. So this is my hair before i go shower so just to give you an idea. Today is friday, and it's like 1 30 right now, and i last washed my hair like wednesday evening around like five-ish, and i haven't done anything to it since then, apart from like brushing it so this part of my hair is like not greasy. Obviously, everyone's hair is like different: i'm not a hair, stylist or like a hairdresser professional in any way, shape or form. I do find that, like my bangs are what guy greasy fast like, if you can kind of like see how it's like separating but yeah, i'm just gon na shower now. Also, i don't really have like any specific shampoos or conditioners that i use. I feel like this is the part in the youtube video, where, like the person whips out their like function of beauty sponsorship, unfortunately, that will not be happening, because i do not have a functioning beauty sponsorship. This is my hair. Before going in the shower, and i'm gon na do like a little 360., if anyone is interested, though i can show you what shampoo i do use. I do use a sulfate free shampoo, though, which i would recommend using because don't quote me on it, but i'm pretty sure that sulfate products are like bad for your hair or whatever. I just use these like ogx argon oil. Is that how you say it? I argan argan oil but honestly like for shampoo, like just use whatever works for you and stuff, because i don't even always use this one but yeah. Also when i'm in the shower, i'm not gon na film. Like me, washing my hair in the shower that'll not be happening, but i'm just gon na explain it to you very quickly. So, basically, with the shampoo i just like you know shampoo, my hair, like full head like normally and then rinse that all out and then once i've done. That i'll, like wash all of like this bit of my hair, like all of that again with the shampoo just because my bangs are like a bit which gets the most greasy and then i'll just wash that out and then for conditioner. I only do the conditioner like here but yeah, i'm gon na go get in the shower now and then i'll see you once i'm out. Okay, so i'm out of the shower and obviously my hair is not brushed so i'm gon na just brush it. This brush is literally from forever 21. yeah, i'm just gon na brush my hair. So now that, like my hair's brushed, obviously this parting is just not looking cute. We kind of have a side part going on, so i just kind of go like this and just like find my parting okay. So now i've got our middle part going on and my hair's all brushed it's very wet. Now it's like dripping, but i'm gon na just do my skincare because i just got the shower and then i will see you once i'm done now it's time for me to do my hair, and this is obviously like the method using heat. So i'm just gon na show you like the stuff i use. I just have like this comb. You can use a comb if you want. I just find it easier for, like my bangs, just like a brush, i think this is called a paddle brush, but like just a hair brush and then just like a hair dryer literally any standard hair dryer will do and then one of these, like curling brushes. I have these like baby hairs and they're very annoying, and they always get in the way, but i'm gon na try to work around those before i even get on to like actually curling my bangs, i just kind of lightly dry. All of my hair with the hair dryer so that it's not all soaking wet, and then i do my bangs, so i'm gon na dry. It now also, i almost forgot but very important - to use heat protectant spray because we're not trying to have a ton of heat damage on our hair. Okay, so i've just really roughly like just gone with the hair, dryer and dried it a bit and i'm just gon na brush it again. I'M just gon na repeat that process like three times ish um. So i've just done that twice now and, as you can see like my hair is still quite wet at the bottom, especially but i'm just gon na do that another time now and then i'm gon na move on to my bag. Okay, so i've just done like the hairdryer hair brush whole thing three times now. My hair is definitely like still kind of wet, but i'm not gon na like dry. It too much i mean you. Can i just prefer to let it air dry a bit as well, so i can like minimize heat damage, yeah i'll, just let that air dry, but i'm gon na move on to my bangs now. So the first thing that i like to do is with my comb, just kind of like separate it out and brush through, so that i can like really clearly see where my bangs actually are and then once i've done, that i kind of just gather it all. Together, okay, so i've just brought like my left bang to the front okay. So what you want to do is you want to get your hair brush and you want to kind of put it at the bottom: wrap your hair around it and then wrap, wrap, wrap, wrap upwards upwards upwards, and you want it to feel quite firm there, so That, like the shape, stays and then you're going to get your hair dryer and hold it underneath and then slowly like unroll the hair and let the bang fall down. As you can kind of see, i'm doing this back and forth motion where i unravel some of the hair and then i roll it back up around the brush and then kind of do that along little lengths of hair until i reach the bottom. So this is what it looks like after the first time of me doing it. You probably like see how that looks awful honestly, just like trust the process, so i'm gon na do it again now and as you're doing this, you kind of like need to play around with it a bit like just do this and like ruffle it and stuff. So that it like looks fine, there's no correct way of doing this, like, in my opinion, like it's just kind of trial and error, like just do whatever you think. I'M gon na insert like a time lapse of me doing this, so that you guys can see so this one is like, obviously like not fully done yet, but i'm gon na do this one and then i'm gon na go back to this one, and i kind Of just like alternate between the two and just like trial and error, and then just basically, all you want to do is just keep repeating the thing with the hair brush like this with the hairdryer. That'S what you want to keep doing just until like it looks right and then like just move it around with your hands like okay, i'm going to do a time lapse. Now of me doing my right, bang and then just like going back and doing this and trying to get them even so. I'Ve done that now. I just repeated that procedure like a couple of times and stuff, and this is what it looks like now. It looks kind of messy, but i just feel like it looks messy in a nice kind of way and then, whenever you just want to like readjust your bangs like you just go like that, and then it just like falls into place. So this is how i do my hair using heat. This is what it looks like it's more of a like messy, fluffy ish. Look. This part of my hair is still wet, but i'm just going to let that air dry but yeah, i'm gon na now show you the method without heat hi. Okay. So i'm looking a little bit questionable right now, but i just got out of the shower and i'm gon na show you how i do my hair, like how i do my bangs, when i just kind of let it dry naturally without heat, i'm just gon na Start by like brushing my hair with my normal hair brush, we don't need an explanation for that. Okay and now i've just parted my hair in the middle and now what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na get my bang i'm just gon na brush. My actual bang, with like a comb, so i've gathered this side of my bang and it's just kind of like around that much obviously, everyone's hair is cut differently, so if it depends gather it all together and i've like brushed it through made sure there's no tangles And then i kind of just like get it like that and you kind of just want to like try carve it around and then clip it up like that. So it should look something like this kind of - and you kind of want this to be like flicked up um, okay. So now i'm going to do that to the other side of my hair, hi. Okay, so my camera battery has died. So i'm filming this on my phone, but as you can see, i've kind of just got my bangs going up like that, and i tried to get it as symmetrical as possible. But as you can see, this one is a lot longer than this one over here, and so it's really not that even because my hair's not cut evenly but yeah, i'm just going to leave it like that and then for the rest of my hair. I'M just going to like let it air dry, because i want to like minimize the amount of heat that i'm using and yeah. I just kind of leave it like that until it's dry, don't take it out before it's dry because it like gets messed up. So don't don't take it out. This is what it looks like. I will see you guys when my hair is dry and it's time to take the clips off okay. So it's a couple of hours later now and you can see my hair is dry. It looks very big and poofy, but it's fine. It will be sorted out. It'S not going to look like this for long, don't worry, but i'm just going to take out the hair clips and it's looking a little questionable right now, i'm just going to like brush my hair and then we can kind of just work with it. I'Ve just brushed my hair now and it's still looking really really big but like it'll, be fine in a bit i'll film in a bit to show you what it looks like. I don't know i'm just gon na, like kind of brush my bangs out and make it look a little more natural because it looks a little a little bit stiff right now. So i don't know if you can tell, but when i let my hair air dry slash when i just use my clips for my bangs compared to when i use a blow dryer, my hair does look different, especially my bangs, for example. My bangs are more like fixed in place and they kind of have a different shape, whereas when i do it with the hair dryer, i can kind of like i don't know like do this and it kind of works, but it doesn't really work when i do It with my clips um, so it's the next day now, and that concludes how i style my hair. This is what my hair looks like after i've done the thing with the clips. All i've done is like collapsed on it, and the only thing i've done is like brush it. Nothing fancy at all. Obviously it doesn't look exactly like this all the time. There is obviously some variation. You know, hair is kind of unpredictable for the most part. This is what my hair looks like when i do the thing with the clips. I hope this video has been helpful to you, whether you already have curtain bangs and don't know how to style them or if you're thinking of getting curtain bangs either or i really hope it can help you, because i know that when i got cursing bangs, i Really did not know what to do with them and i kind of struggled a bit if there are any unanswered questions that you may have feel free to comment it down below or if it's a little bit longer.
