Hot rollers may seem retro (and a little tricky to use), but they're actually one of the best ways to get big, bouncy curls with a ton of volume. Since hot rollers heat style all of your hair at the same time, and more evenly than other hot tools, they're a great option if you're working with a lot of hair or just have lot of other things to cross off your to-do list (in addition to getting glam waves!). Watch as professional makeup artist Nam Vo walks you through how easy it is to use ceramic hot rollers to create glamours curls and waves.

Hi guys I'm makeup artist ma'am though, and today I'm so excited to show you how to do big, glamorous bouncy curls, using these Chi hot rollers and they're, not what your mama's hot rollers were in the 80s. These are ceramic super easy to use and let me show you how that's get started, so I just turned on my Chi's ceramic hot rollers you'll, don't when they're ready, because they're gon na turn bright red in the center. So this is super simple. I'M in a section off my hair and three sections: first, I'm gon na go down the center right in the middle of my head, almost like a mohawk. So now I have my three sections going. Do not worry about it being perfect. This is a an easy loosey-goosey way of doing things. Every single section that I pick up, I'm gon na do a light. Little combing, I'm gon na spray. My heat activated lacquer spray. I'M gon na go from the roof, maybe about five inches from my hairline. I'M gon na wrap it around from the center and then wrap it back around and then you just do a clip. Voila super easy. Now I have my Mohawk curls in the middle i metalwork on my side, section, I'm always gon na curl it away from my face. So now we're on to the last and final section. You see how fast it is. It'S actually a lot easier than what you think once again, its Mohawk curls and then every side curl is awaking the face. So now that we're set, we want to let this marinate for 10 to 15 minutes. So it's a perfect time to get your makeup done. Call your boyfriend or have a look on Instagram, my hair's done baking. Now you can see that the red dot is dim. So it's time to let these guys loose whew. I think they cook 12. You could already tell that it was so bouncy now it's time to loosen up these curls. I'M gon na run you through with my fingers, as if I don't have enough volume, I'm gon na finish off with my favorite product from Oribe. It'S their dry, thickening, finishing spray, and I'm just gon na do one round all over. You see how it separates from here. It just gives it even more body to go the extra mile and make these curls last even longer. I have a little secret trick. I'M going to turn on my blow-dryer turn it on low and blasts it with a little bit of cool air Ted up there. You have it folks, long lasting glamorous, bouncy curls. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them below and don't forget to follow me at Nambu. See you next time.
