claw clip hair tutorial

how i style my bangs tutorial

blonde hair tutorial

The very first thing i'm going to do is brush all of my hair, of course, but specifically brush out my bangs and any hair that i don't want to be put into the velcro rollers and i'm going to put the rest of my hair back up in This claw clip it's like a blonde colored claw clip that i got from target. I love it. It almost looks like it's like blonde with highlights it's so cool and i'm just gon na separate that hair and also i'm doing another voice over in this video, and i finally found my little foam like wind protector thing for my microphone. My last video, like every time i said, like a word that started with the letter p or something you know, you'd hear like the wind and the mic, and it just was so terrible. But this is the curling iron that i'm using today. It'S the hot tools. You know a classic fabulous brand. This is the one and a half inch curling iron and, as you can see, i don't even lift up the lever. I just go and i curl toward my face. So these bangs are being curled toward my face. I don't lift the lever, and yes, i know, if you don't lift the leather it can lever, it can cause an indentation and it does. But once i put this into a velcro roller, it's going to cool to the shape of the roller and the dent goes away. So it's just really quick for me to just wrap my hair around it without opening up the lever and all that and then i clip it and i put it under and toward my face and i clip it now. I have two other sections here and these i'm going to be curling away from my face and i don't even curl the whole thing, i'm really just focusing on getting this hair hot and then quickly putting it into a hot roller and letting it cool. I mean not a hot roller, a velcro roller and then letting it cool as it's hot cooling down to the shape of that roller. Just to get that volume, that's all, i'm really doing is just trying to get some volume into my hair. Be really careful not to burn yourself, because somehow i end up burning myself a lot with this curling iron. That'S another reason why i like try and like not even lift the lever, and just do this really quick. I don't know - maybe i'm just not coordinated enough, but um. It'S like the quickest way to just get your hair really hot and then put it in these velcro rollers. These velcro rollers by the way, are the kitsch or kitsch kit sch brand from ulta i'll. Have them linked down below and all the other products that i use as well will be listed and linked down below in the description box as well, and that's it that's the no i'm just kidding. This is not the tutorial. Now i've moved over to my vanity um, i'm using the tangle, teaser, regular brush and the actual teasing brush, and then this dry shampoo by a cure. It'S like organic. It has like rosemary and peppermint. It smells really good and that just adds a lot of volume, because that's the key to this vibe is just volume. Any way you can and dry shampoo is an excellent way to get some volume and then, of course, also teasing it. So i'm going to tease up those two sections that i just put a roller in and you can kind of tell when i take these rollers out, that it gives just kind of a feathery type of volume. And then i just go in and i tease it even more. I also like to tease these other little sections around my hairline and i like to spray everything with hairspray. This is biology, something, and this is the most important roller. I take it out slow and i didn't leave these in very long. I only left these in for about 10 minutes, but i would advise you to leave them on as long as you can. Like. 20 minutes at least or an hour um. I still got some good volume, but i usually leave them on for like 30 minutes to an hour i'll do it before. I do my makeup um, but i do tease these, but instead of teasing the back of the group of hair, i tease the front of it since they're going to be laying down on my face. I just tease the front of it and then it gives them like more of a poofy look in the bangs and then it's all about just kind of finding pieces here and there that i need to tease and then put hairspray on and tease and put hairspray. I know looks so crazy right now, but we will make it come together. Trust me, i feel like right now. I look like some like 80s rock person like from stranger things like i should be in stranger things like it almost looks like i have a mullet right now. It'S just part of the process, as they say you have to trust the process always have to spray everything flip it over spray spray spray do now we get to the good part the claw clip. I know my hair looks atrocious right now, but again trust the process. I really just kind of twist it around not too tight. I'M going to loosen everything up. Trust me on this and i just kind of get it back there not low. Sometimes i go a little higher than this, but really just kind of like in the middle of my head, and then i clip it. I clip all the hair. I grab it to the left to the side in a way i'm somewhat lucky, because i don't have that much hair. I don't have extensions in. I don't have super super thick hair. If you had really really thick hair, you might have to get a different type of claw clip or use bobby pins, but i just do that and then i go in and i go kind of piece by piece and i loosen things up. So if i want more volume, i loosen them up. If i have hairs in the back of my neck that are falling down, i will put them back in the claw clip and it's really just a process of kind of looking in the mirror. Looking the back of your hair, just kind of deciding like what does that look good? Does that look too poofy, or does that look good? I also haven't brushed out my bangs yet i'm about to in like two clips, but i just kind of make sure that they're looking kind of the way i want them to sometimes i have them look like super sparse, like that, and i only have like a Few right there in the middle of my forehead other times, i have them all in the front. It really just depends, i guess, on my mood and how i'm feeling, as you can see, i've got a lot on the right side, a lot of like longer hairs in front of my ear on the right side. So i'm going to kind of figure out what i want to do with that you could bobby, pin them back. You could leave them, but here i'm going to go in with a brush and brush everything out, makes everything look a lot more voluminous and fluffy and thicker. If i can even have thick hair myself, which is kind of impossible, but looking at this clip, i still don't know why. I didn't really put those hairs on the right back into a bobby pin, but it still looks good. You know as the day goes by as the day it progresses. You know my hair is just messy, that's just the vibe. I go for voluminous messy bangs and if i don't like something, if i want it more plump or full, i just adjust the claw clip. Accordingly and that's it, that is the look. That'S how i get it. That'S how i achieve it and if you like, this video, definitely give it a thumbs up and thank you for watching.
