Check back here for weekly videos featuring my favorite beauty products, makeup tutorials, fashion lookbooks, and parenting/kid related videos. Thank you all so much for being here with me!

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel, so I'm really excited for today's video cuz. I'M gon na do a little below out tutorial update situation. I have used the Revlon one-step, hair, dryer and styler before today, I'm using it with a different technique and some different products that I think have been pretty. I think significant in changing up my routine and kind of like giving me the results I want, especially for a blowout at home, which I don't do often, but when I do, I just want it to be done right. You know what I mean so um. I also want to say thank you so much to Walmart, because they are sponsoring this video today. All the products i am using can be found below which you can also find at walmart or walmart calm. So let's get straight into this alright. So, as you can see, my hair is freshly washed. I am using two new products from Garnier Fructis. This is the nourishing treat shampoo and conditioner so they're right here. First of all, i love the packaging. They look like you know, those little juices that you get from juicer'is, very recyclable, friendly. The reason that this really caught my eye was because of the coconut which is made for dry hair, which is definitely what i have it's. The reason why i don't shampoo my hair often is because i have really dry hair, so they have ones with avocado and I think papaya for different needs. It'S a vegan formula and there are no silicones, which has been something really important to me lately, because the more I'm researching and understanding about shampoos and conditioners silicones are what really end up weighing your hair down, even though they kind of feel good after they're. In your hair, it's what actually causes your hair to kind of get that like gritty feeling. If you know what I mean, what I normally do is I will wash my hair. Let it air dry get about 60 70 percent dry. While it's doing that I'll. Do my makeup and then I will proceed to style it so that way, you're not adding too much heat to the process it solved. The other thing that I'm going to be using, which I'm really excited about is the Garnier Fructis nourishing treat one-minute hair masque. Now the reason I found this really interesting is because you can use it three ways, so you can use it as a mask conditioner or a leave-in, and I want to try it out as a leave-in today. So as a mask after shampooing, you put it on and you leave it in for a minute and then wash it out. I also like the idea that it's only one minute because sometimes masks are like get out of the shower after shampooing. Keep it in your hair for ten minutes go rinse it I'm like. I don't have that much time, use it as a conditioner, which would just mean instead of using this conditioner use it in place of this, which I like that it tells you to do that because sometimes, if you put too much conditioner here, that's when I feel Like you can weigh it down a lot, so it says: apply on damp hair for frizz control and lasting nourishment. That means I do not have to washed out. So that's what we're gon na do right now and test out like that. So I have nothing else in my hair. Currently, stuff smells really good, you guys, okay and then one other product that I'm going to use, but you can also find it while more people think that sometimes you can't find the higher-end items at Walmart and you absolutely can like living proof. This is at Walmart calm, which is amazing these products. This is the full root lift. This has been something I've been using for a while now, and I really like it so you use it when your hair is damp, and I spray it right where I want. The most lift, which happens to be, I think, for most people right at the crown now this is the fun part. I'M going to take my revlon one-step right here. This is how it looks. I think it comes in to another color too, but I'm using the pink one and it has two settings low and high and you can also have it on cool, so the cool setting is on its own and I think it goes its own speed. Let me just check so this is cool, so I think cool is pretty much on high as well. What I like to do is for this area, like the crown I'll kind of hit it with heat and then I'll turn it on cool. So that way, it really holds that I think the important thing here to remember is sometimes this can take you 15 minutes. I think overall, to do, and sometimes people are like. It only takes me five minutes to blow-dry my hair and to me it's like yes, but I'm getting blow-dry and styling in one so that that's called a twofer and that's really good for me. I'M going to start on the high setting, which I normally do. It is powerful, but I like high just because I feel like I get it done quicker for me. That'S what I like. So this is what it looks like, and I just love that it gives it like nice body, because I feel like sometimes when I blow-dry it just looks really flat and, like I don't know, there's nothing to it. This almost has a little wave to it, which is really pretty you know. Normally. I would like not even section here and I would just blow dry, but I think that I take the extra time here because I'm styling it too, so it makes sense as I am focusing on the front and the top right here. What I do is I kind of alternate between blow drying forward and back, especially in this crown area, because I do want that extra lift and right here as well hold it for a lickin so with the heat and then I'll switch it to cool. So that way, it really holds that height in place. You can see just like with that alone, the lift I got there is a lot more than I would normally have. I just blow-dried it so doing that extra step of cool and hot, I think, really helps. And then, if you want to maintain the fullness right here, you can go in with a little bit of dry volume, glass from living Chris as well, and just break just a little bit at the roots. You just get that fullness. That is just, I think. You know you can't beat it look it up. So again, I'm just gon na go in with a little bit of the drywall you left and I'm gon na hit it one more time with this all right. So I just hit my hair one last time with the cold setting just to kind of lock everything in place you can go in and if you want more of those defined waves like hold it there in place and I'll kind of give you more of that Finished you know, look at the ends. I myself just want it to look nice and full of body, especially the first day that I wash it. So that is my main objective with using something like this, because, most of the time when I wash my hair and blowdry it, it is full laughs like using this tool along with the leaving conditioner and then the root lift just helps accomplish what I'm going for. So much better by the way there are other brands that are out there that are so much more expensive. I think this honestly does the job for you and again it's a twofer. You get to blow-dry your hair and style it all at once. I'M going to link all the products I did use down below and want to say thank you again to Walmart for sponsoring this video, if you guys have any questions for me, be sure to leave them in the comments below otherwise I'll see you next time, bye.
