Hi there is Sofia here, thank you for stopping by today, if you're new to my channel - and you like this video, please be sure - to subscribe and be sure to click on that Bell to get a notice. When I have a new video coming out today, I decided to show you how I trim my bangs and also decide the front sides of my hair and layers really just an angled cut. This is the after in a minute. I'Ll show you that before I'm going to show you how I do it, I'm freshly washed hair - I haven't styled it in that part of the video. I just wanted to show you how I cut my bangs. I always do when I'm dry hair. When you see how your hair falls dry, you're able to shape it better, at least I am so let's get started, my hair is still damp. I just washed it talented dry. I have a very light fringe of bangs and I like to keep it at this light. It'S a very easy way of trimming. If you already have bangs, if you don't, you can still try this method type of banks. I have are a little bit shorter here and then they curve this way. You don't want to start back here because you don't want to have a heavy bang or heavy fringe. If I don't want things, I can always just push it off my face, and then you can't tell I really have bangs here, but I love the versatility of banks because sometimes when I want to pull all my hair up, I'd like to have just like a Little bit of fringe down, I normally part my hair on this side and I have a cowlick on this side. So this is a real pain to work with. That'S why I never do it wet, because I need to know how it's going to be behaving when I cut it. The other thing you need to keep in mind is that when you pull your bangs taut they're gon na be a lot longer than when you let go and they spring up. My advice is: go longer thing you want to go, you can always get back in there and trim, but it's a disaster that have bangs that are way too short on me. I like them a little longer right now they reach below my nose. I usually cut them right before the tip of my nose and part my hair right in the center, and then I start here not back here just in the middle and I do just a little triangle and then a little triangle here, I'm gon na pull on My hair then thin it out just a little bit even out trying to look at this mirror and also show you can be a little bit more there. As you see, I've left these pieces down, and this is gon na get a little bit of an angle. Cut later, but I'll start with this, there we go in order for this a follow. The way I want it to fall. I stretch it down tight grab it with these two fingers. Then I'm going to do a twist come in here with this hand and hold it down. So now you see it's twisted. I'M gon na spread that out hold it taut. First, you go straight across. I want them kind of feathery. Then I'm gon na go in here, cut into it this way and just keep trimming until you see that it's starting to feather out a bit spread it out. Usually, if you cook just a small amount like this, you can even spread them out more. Take a look, and I'm just peace, it's a little too long! Somebody get in here and trim it when you release it well that it can just fall like this. When I go back in and style it, I'm not gon na. Have this cowlick here, I'm gon na get in with a dryer and just kind of push it forward so that I'll have just a little bit of fringe on my face and then, if I want to pull it up, I have it the way it's falling. Now. It'S still too thick now it has a shape, it needs I'll. Take it this way, yeah just going to hold this straight cross and I'm going to come in from the top and give it a little bit of a trim. This way this is very easy to do as well I'll. Let it down I'm not doing this in front of the mirror so bear with me, I'm just looking at it and now it's not some thick, it's more feathery hair right now, it's frizzy and terrible because I didn't style it yet. I, like angled sides I'll take this, bring it down to my ear. Pull this part up, bring this down to my ear. Pull this part up. I don't want to bring this long piece in grab this bring it forward, take the scissors and then I just kind of go down following the line same thing on this side, bring it in this other side. I go up because I'm holding it with my hand, I'm going to see if they match they do and then here then do a little trim going down like and then this side going down angle it this like. I don't up because it's harder for me not doing it in front of the mirror. It'S too long there so I'll get in here. I can just go just a little bit and then cut into it later. Here. Cuts are not really, in my opinion, that all that precise this is just to give volume. I'M gon na go and stop my hair and I'll. Show you what it looks when it's finished just to give you an idea. This is how long my bangs are now and earlier when I started to cut them. They were already down here.
