I filmed this video for my channel while working on a project as Beauty Editor at Large for Glamour Magazine
All right dolls, I read all the comments from our first ponytail video and you loved it so much that I'm gon na show you another version of that with a little something extra special. So I'm gon na start on the side and just take a little bit of hair and part it to agonal II. This way, so I've got this little triangular section that I'm gon na leave out so triangle being the part here, a section here in the hairline. Just leave that out and then we'll gather the rest of the hair into a ponytail. It'S gon na use the little piece of hair to wrap this and hide it, and then I just use my bobby pin to tuck this. In now, I'm gon na raise the hair up a little bit from the ponytail base, just to give it a little height. I didn't need to tease it. I don't need to spray it. It'S just using the tension from the ponytail just to really give that a nice lift. These layers are a little bit long to really make it look the way I want it. So basically, what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na take from the part down this way and stretch it back and I'm gon na lock that in with a bobby pin, don't worry before you think I'm going all Britney Spears. We'Ve set it again. I'M gon na pull this out, so basically, what you're doing is you're controlling how much hair is in the front and you're also like hiding the hairline. So it just adds a little bit of interest to the ponytail and it kind of makes it look more. Like a bang than it really is, and now I'm just smoothing out the ends of the ponytail with a flat iron, to give it a little extra finish and I'm not flat ironing it really hard, I'm just trying to get it a little smoother, and I don't Want it to be too straight, so I'm just rolling it okay, this is it just that triangular section right in the front, we used a lot of bobby pins, hidden right here in the side, just to give you the appearance of a side bang without having to Cut your hair and then we just wrapped it smooth the ponytail gave it a little lift and you're good to go.
