Get Straight Bangs Without A Flat Iron Or Blow Dryer (No Heat): Quick & Easy Hair Tutorial

Ladies, it's time to throw out your hot tools! Well, maybe keep them for special occasions... But yes, it is possible to straighten your bangs without using any heat! No flat iron or blow dryer required.
If you have side bangs, just take the top layer on the opposite side of your bangs and pin it in place at the back of your head. Spritz your side bangs with some water, comb through, and pin them down with bobby pins on the other side. Wait for your bangs to dry, remove the bobby pins and bring your bangs back to the side you usually wear them on.
I find that switching sides helps to add some volume to your bangs, but feel free to experiment to get YOUR desired result. As always, let me know how it went in the comments below.

Hi everyone, a number of people, wanted to know how I straighten my banks without using any heat. So I thought I'll shoot a little video and show you how so if you're interested, then just keep watching. So I just got up - and this is what my hair looks like. I curled it using my bohemian spiral, curls tutorial and if you want to know how I did that, then you can just go to my channel page and watch my very first video things. You'Ll need are a hair clip of some sort, anything that helps you to get your hair out of the way, a couple of bobby pins, a comb and some water. Now I usually just straighten this side of my bangs, because this one I just keep wavy it doesn't really bother me first. What I do is I take this top layer and clip it out of the way select the hair that you want to straighten. So for me it would be just this part made sure it's tangle free, so comb it through to make it nice and smooth, and then you want to spray it with some water, not too much, but you want to make sure it's nice and damp and then Comb it through once again, and now you want to put all of this on the opposite side, just like this and pin it down with bobby pins. Now you can unclip this section and you just want to wait for twenty to thirty minutes. So, after about 20 to 30 minutes, you can take out the bobby pins and rearrange your bangs on the other side of your head and that's it so now you should have fairly straight bangs. Now, obviously, the result isn't exactly the same as with a straightening iron, but I think it comes pretty close and it definitely does the job for me. Katie Eliese: It depends on your hair type. Mine stay straight for one day (until I sleep on them again), but with a little bit of hairspray you could increase the staying power :)

Katie Eliese: Absolutely! I've tried it before a few times and it doesn't turn out too bad. The bobby pins will leave marks in your hair though, so your hair will be straight for the most part, but it'll also have a few waves in it from the bobby pins. Give it a try and see if you like it! I'm still working on finding a better method for straightening hair naturally...

Medhashree Goswami: this is really good. in fact I have the same hair texture exactly like you, and keep my bangs makin' it slided from the forehead and keeping the other part weavy. And I've tried this but the overnight result is more precious and equal to straightening
Katie Eliese: you could be right. it does depend on your hair texture. this method works well with straight-ish or wavy hair, but it might be less effective on very curly hair types. but you never know for sure until you try :) if your hair is coarse/curly I would also suggest using a styling spray instead of water. hope this helps :)

Katie Eliese: I know exactly what you mean and I think I have an idea for you! Instead of bobby pins, try wrapping a headscarf or a regular thin scarf (silk is best) around your head. You'll want to spray some water on your bangs first and comb them neatly to one side. Then do the wrapping, and everything should stay in place without those unsightly bobby pin marks. I would say blow dryer that has the cool air option. :) Another thing that I do when I do not want to use the blow dryer is when my bangs are almost dry, I spray some HAIR SPRAY on my thumb and index finger and just continue to pull my fingers through my bangs angle. It really works for me! Why don't you have a try? ;) thank me after lol
