I'Ve Been Growing Out My Buzzcut For 8 Months! Shaved Head Journey Update

Okay, so it has been eight months and two days since i shaved my head. I can't believe that i'm only four months from my one year, that's crazy. I honestly don't even really feel like i'm growing out a buzz cut anymore, and i think that i said this in my last update too, but when i style my hair, it looks like pretty normal. Just like a normal haircut, it's pulled back in a ponytail right now, which is how i've been wearing it a lot. Uh. Obviously i'll, take my ponytail out to do this video. I was just getting ready and about to style my hair for the day. I think i'm probably gon na do like. I don't know two small ponies, maybe, but i was just about to style it and then i was like. Oh, i have not filmed my eight months update and i want to do that before i style it. Maybe at the end of this video i'll come back and show you um what it looks like after i've styled it, but uh yeah. I washed it yesterday and it's air dried. So this is just like my completely. I have not put any heat on it completely. Like normal natural hair, so i did end up cutting it uh about. I cut my bangs about a month ago now i think - and i cut the back of my hair, probably two or three weeks ago. Now it was just getting to the point where i don't know the back was just so long. It was awesome for pulling it back into a ponytail, but even after i've cut the back, i can still do a ponytail. So it's fine. I was thinking about just letting it grow out without any cutting to see what that would look like. But honestly, i'm glad that i cut it because it almost just looks like i have a little bob now these parts at the front are still shorter, which i can't wait until these parts are like full length the same as the rest of my hair. That'S probably what i'm most excited about right now, because, first of all, they're just like really like bulky here and it's just yeah, it's just not it's just not the look, but overall i'm super happy with my decision to trim the back i probably cut about. I don't know an inch or an inch and a half off. I think i took a photo of how much i cut off so i'll pop that on the screen, but yeah it's been going really. Well, honestly, i've just been like distracted with other things in my life, the past, like couple months, so i haven't even really been like paying much attention or like worried about my hair, which i don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But it's just it's just out here, still growing still doing its thing, i'm kind of at one of those i feel like i hit these points where it just feels like it's like at a standstill and stops growing, and i feel like i'm kind of at that Point right now - and i know it hasn't, stopped growing, so i'm sure in another month or two i'll be like oh wow, like my hair, has actually grown a lot. Also, a lot of my texture is coming through, like a lot of my wave is coming through, and it just makes for like a really weird, like i usually have it behind my ears or uh, like yeah, in a ponytail in pigtails, whatever i can do with It i will do because until these parts are longer, it's just like a very awkward um, because i do have a lot of wave in these like two front pieces, and i sleep on this side. So i feel, like this side always is like really weird and frizzy, trying to train myself to sleep on my back, but it's so hard anyways. This is just gon na, be a quick super, quick update. I don't really have anything else to say. I just kind of wanted to document how long it is right now, um, so obviously, you've seen the front and i'll go from the side, and obviously it's not it's not even like this is still shorter than the back. So i didn't want to trim the back. Like short enough to make it even i just felt like that would have been too much so eventually this will catch up and it'll all be one length, but for now this is just like how it looks and i'm fine with it. This is the back, which is probably super uneven, because when i did this haircut, i did it in like five minutes with kitchen scissors in my bathroom. So i just honestly don't really care yep, that's what it looks like. So i'm gon na go finish getting ready for the day and then i'll come back and show you how i styled it. Okay, i'm back just styled my hair. It took about five minutes. All i did was two little buns uh. I didn't do anything to like this part of my hair. All i did was just use a flat iron to like curl, my bangs under and then i just put two curls or like waves or whatever, just in the front pieces, to kind of tame them and yeah super cute. This is one of my favorite ways to style it and, in my opinion, it just looks like i have a bob haircut, even though i'm growing out a buzz cut, and i have been hacking out my hair myself with my kitchen scissors.
