Oh, that beauty is my weakness, the on fleek and the please. Don'T hey guys welcome back to my channel and today I am going to be showing you how I got my box braids Bob. You know we're taking it back to old school and yes so and I'm going to be sharing with you all the details of how I got this look, how I achieved my braids from start to finish and yeah. I would you know really like to hear what you think about this look, and you know just comment below and tell me and what you think. I actually used a knife to cut. You know my hair, rather than using a lighter to do it individually, because that's long and yeah, I thought I use a knife. It'S quicker that way, and i mean i'm. I was scared of burning myself, so I just used a knife. Instead of a lighter and yeah a hot knife, by the way you you place it on the cooker and then you you know, I learned that in Africa because that's how they did it so yeah guys. I hope you liked this video don't forget to subscribe. If you're new to my channel - and if you like this video, please give it a thumbs up, and yes, I hope to see you in my next video bye guys. So this is the hair that am using its expression expression. I got the color than before, and the machine is because I bought two from somewhere else and about two from the other place home and then you know place didn't have number to decide to end up getting them before. So it's not too far off with it. You'Re nuts and it's the hair that I'm using all that dear, I cut it in half, and this is what it looks like it's like very, very long. I think it's the nominee interest. This is 82 inches. That'S very very long, and this is what it looks like inside the pocket and then you just undo dots, so I'm gon na cut it in the middle and then cut it again so that I make it into four pieces and I'll come back. So this is what it looks like after I've cut it and so to make the ends be you know, what do they call them feather tips, or something like that you just have to you know, grab the ends of the hair, the blunt end, and then you Just start pulling little bits of hair bit by bit yeah. This requires some patience, so you just pull this. I usually do this like the day before I start braiding my hair, to save me some time, but for the sake of this video, I wanted to leave this one pocket to show you what you're supposed to do so you pull it and pull it, and once You don't pulling it like that, you just brush it out. On the other side, you brush it out on both ends with a you know, a brush hair brush, and then this is what it should look like afterwards and you just know you use that to braid your hair. So this is the size that I'm using for my hair they're, quite big. This is the size I'm using and lens as well, and if you want it a bit, if it's too short - and you want a bit longer - you just pull it on both sides and then that's it. So I have my mirror here to help me to see with the passing and stuff like that. So if I'm looking down it's, probably because I'm looking at the mirror, so here's how you assemble the hair in order to braid it. So you get like a quarter of the hair, take your pot and then put it together like so, and you grab it like that and then to braid. I don't know if this is, I hope, my laptop and then grab the hair that you've already parted and then attached separate your own hair into three strands and then attach it to each one of them. And then you start to braid. Oh catching this Bob. The first time by myself, some quite nervous and I'm going to be using a hot knife instead of a Commodore, because I don't want to burn myself and I'm going to use a nice to cut everything. You know old school and then I'll burn off everything with a lighter individually. Just so that I don't burn myself and yeah. I think using the knife will be quicker yeah, so I'm sectioning my hair like this and at the back, sometimes yeah, trying to see how I can cut it. So we are sexually off like this and then I'll cut. You know where I put my hair bubbles and then we shall see hopefully goes works, I'm quite nervous, but haven't done this before by myself, so yeah stay tuned. I'M just gon na show you what I'm doing to cut off my just grab the knife and when the life stops cutting, I put it back on the cooker. So I'm cutting off bit by bit just a below my where my hair purple is. You can see so I'm gon na I'm cutting off bit by bit until I've finished everything. So it's I'll cut this off so much so far, probably stuck together looks like so. I'Ve already started cutting this other side and I'm just gon na hold it like this just waiting while I well, the knife hits up yeah, it's quicker than tried to burn it and all the strands individually, cuz, yeah and God knows things could go up in flames. So I'm not trying to risk it. Yeah check this out guys. Oh oh Yas, Yas one. One more left is descent for relaxed natural and color-treated hair. So I found this in the hair shop. I was like wait. Rs I've got a sulfate free, shampoo. I'Ve got to get that I've got to get piece of that so yeah. I picked up this and it's been great. I'Ve been loving it. It doesn't strip my hair, it's very moisturizing when I use it so yeah. I'M really loving this. This shampoo as well when I do something my hair, I like to use this, and I also picked up this new big book, a big tub. This is huge
