STAY TRILL STAY BLESSED

I love you guys ❤️

FIN.

Alright guys so now, I'm going to show you how I wrap my hair at night, and I also wanted to tell you what I do to my hair. Let'S say if I get water on it. Well, after I take a shower like usually it's like the edges of my hair, the roots of my hair that get wet. Sometimes, when I I, when I'm in the shower, also, if you guys do have like some kind of recommendation, how you guys prevent your hair from getting wet while you're in the shower leave me a comment down below. But what I like to do is after I get out the shower. Let'S say like I wet this side right here right and it's like looking a little wavy I'll just take my blow-dryer and just blow dry that section right there. So I don't go in with a I: don't use the flat iron after I straighten it the first time, so I just use the blow dryer. If I need to touch up my hair before work or if I'm going out somewhere and my hair is looking a little like you know, I use the blow dryer. So now I'm going to show you what I do to wrap my hair, so you're going to need a mesh wrap. I believe that's what it's called I'll put like the the name of what this is actually cold. It looks like this, and it just opens up like that, and I love this. What I love about this most is that it stays in my hair now, the bobby pins that I use, I'm going to show you them. Are these ones yeah? These are the ones these are the bobby pins that I use they're from the brand Diane and they're they're curved bobby pins, so they're not like straight. They have like a curve to it. I don't know if you guys can see that, but the reason why I pick these over the straight bobby pins is because it lays because you know your head has like a curve on it, but yeah these really big bobby pins believe these are two and a Half inches, don't leave any marks on my head. You know after I unwrapped my hair. So that's why I recommend getting the really big ones. Um need, and then I just use this brush right here. It'S a wig brush and that white stuff on my brush is from what did I spray on this? I sprayed dry shampoo on it, so that's what that white stuff on on it is, but I like to use this wig brush. It just makes it easier to wrap my hair, so this is what you're going to do think about how you want your hair. What side you want your hair to be parted when you wake up in the morning. So if you want your hair to be parted on this side, that would be me right now. Then you're going to wrap in the opposite direction. Okay - and I really don't have an explanation, but it just works like that. I get I don't know, I don't have an explanation, but yeah. That'S what you do so if you want to have your hair when you wake up in the morning on this side like to the side or whatever other side, then you wrap going around this way. I hope I'm making sense to that so because I want my bangs are like on this side. I wrap. I part my hair on this side and my rapping skills are not the best, but when I, when I wake up in the morning like it doesn't matter how sloppy your rapping is, your hair still turns out good in the morning. So don't worry too much about that alright. So I start with this side like this and I comb down and I press down as a combing and then I start laying the bobby pins and just comb the hair down like so and look down while you're doing. It, though, just makes your life easier. All right, so I'm going to fix this little piece that came out the best of my abilities, but trust me like there's some days where my rapping like when I round my hair. It looks horrible, but then I wake up and my hair is like you good. You good, so I don't worry too much about having my wrap completely perfect as long as it's going in a circular motion, you're good and with, if you do it like every night, you're just gon na it's just going to come natural natural to you to wrap Your hair, all right as you can see right now it looks a hot mess, but trust me when I wake up. My hair is fine and I have no dents in my hair if you can't find the curved bobby pins, but I highly recommend the curved ones. Then just get really big, really big straight ones. That will help too, but I've come to find out that the curved ones just work better when it comes to wrapping my hair. So I just take this like that, wrap it like this and wrap it right. There push it up a little bit. My ears fix your ears, girl and yeah. That'S all I do when I sleep like this, and my hair does not come out, which is just crazy to me. I used to rap a different way where I would wrap my hair. You know and bobby pins put this net over it and then take out the bobby pins, but I love this way so much better this. This is just so much easier for me because I don't have to remove any bobby pins, so I don't know I just like this way better and um yeah. What I love about wrapping to wrapping my hair at night is that when I wake up in the morning to wash my face, this protects my hair as well. So just you know some more information, but that's it. That'S all that I do. You can take your ears out if you want like that, but yeah you see like it doesn't need to be perfect. That'S it that's it girl. That'S it! That'S how I wrap my hair, that's how I help it stay straight longer, and I notice that when I don't do this at night, that's what I have to use my blow-dryer to touch up my hair. So if you wrap every night like this, then you wouldn't have to touch up so much but sometimes like my hair gets wet and then I have to use the blow dryer. So when you wake up in the morning, you just take all the bobby pins out. There'S one more bobby pin right there: do you guys see that it's just wrapping your hair just smooth? Do you see how small that already looks? Do you guys see that just from wrapping it for not even a minute, and then I, like my hair on this side, it's just smooth. Is your hair out? It'S amazing! It'S amazing. What a what a do! We could do, hi guys,

Worker Bee: You just taught me how to wrap my pesky hair after YEARS of getting it wrong. Thank you for that!!

Janet Thompson: Thanks for the wrapping lesson, I loved it, I struggle with wrapping so this video was very helpful to me.

Char Turner: I love the curved Bobby pins too. They are perfect for wrapping.

Kezia: I remember when my hair was super easy to wrap when I had a relaxer. I recently got a blowout, my hair is natural & very silky. I couldn't keep my wrap together. Then I discovered using bobby pins worked lol. So glad I did!

Royalmk: Am the only one who finds this difficult? I cant seem to wrap my hair right no matter how many times i try T_T

Princess L Williams Adams: Love your process, one tip is to part your hair slanted behind your ear. I learned it after so many years of wrapping.

J P: I just wear my wrapping scarf under my shower cap, making sure that the edge of the scarf matches up with the elastic on the shower cap. No wet edges. The shower cap MUST be oversized. That is key. Hope this helps.

J P: I use a scarf AND a shower cap.  I use the scarf on the edges and cover the whole head, then the shower cap. Make sure the shower cap lays on top of the scarf, with no edges of the scarf showing.  Dooby wraps are cool and have been around  forever.  The reason you want to wrap in the opposite direction of the part is to create more body in the hair when it is unwrapped the next day.  It has to do with the direction of the hair and the desired style, not where the part is.  If you think about it, a Dooby is using your hair as a BIG roller for your hair. Your head and the shape of your head becomes the roller. Make sense? Another reason your Dooby is not perfect is because you are supposed to use two giant rollers at the very top of your head.  That is what adds the body on the top.

Nyea Beli: This really helped I felt like a pro! Thank you

Deborah Hill: Very nicely done! Thanks so much for the tutorial...very helpful

Julie O: I finally found large or extra-large shower caps that keep my hair totally dry. Thank you for this tutorial.

What Rissa Knows: Very smart, never thought of using the blow dryer I usually just re-wrap the edges if they are frizzy. Such beautiful hair!

earthtomani: Her hair looks amazingggggly healthy

rem dem: The wrapping method actually works, this video is a good way to learn for starters because it's not as easy as it looks lol. As far as keeping the (straight) hair dry I PERSONALLY just use my bonnet/wrap then just throw a beanie over it. Sometimes the back by my neck gets wet but it kind of soaks up the moisture from the shower steam and the hair under is fine, can still wash your face or whatever.

Sabrina D.: Shower caps never keep my hair dry so I like to use a swim cap sounds weird but it's the only way I can keep my hair 100% dry in the shower!

Judith Santana: I know it's weird but I actually use whatever cotton t-shirt I have on and use that to wrap my hair. I refrain from washing my face in the shower and instead wash it right before showering so I don't let water anywhere near my. The shirt is also good from just not letting your hair get frizzy from the steam of the shower. Since using a t-shirt, I have not messed up my curly or straight hair in the shower for years.

Deidra: To shower, I wrap my hair, then tie it with a scarf, then put on a bonnet, then I top it off with a shower cap lol

celyncapo: Nice and simple .. straight to the point!

Ashleigh Carter: Hi. First thank you for the tutorial.. I usually suck at wraping! And thank you for talking in a real human voice and not being fake how you talk to the camera, like most beauty tutorialists seem to do. I'm subscribing just for that reason! Thumbs up!

Angelique Collins: I've used another method for years but I would like to try this one for a week to see how it would work..thanks for explaining so easily and you have a great personality!:)

TakaiDesu Lives: You´re gourgeous!!! I love the video! It will help me a lot, for sure! I have strong and wide curls all over my hair, and they are kind of messed up every morning! I do love bob haircut, it´s my favorite and I can pull it off when my hair is silky straight, but it looks nice only in the first day of iron press, then it starts to get all crazy and fliping out (sometimes in just one side, to give a yet more weird look!) I will definitely try your method and I´m sure I will not have to stay with long hair just because dealing with this problem consumes much time and ruins the hair by the heat. Thank you!

MsCarter90: I have been using a turbie twist for almost 6 years. I have my bonnet or scarf on under it. They are wonderful

K R.: just what I needed...how often are you straightening and what do you do to prevent heat damage?

LaKendra Rawls: I always make a part in the top of my head to wrap it. IMO it makes it easier and I don’t use bobby pins because the mesh wrap keeps it in place. I love your hair.

Fancy Pants: This 4yr old video just helped my wrap my hair .

Dee Barnes: I spent several hours straightening my hair yesterday and at the end of it, realized I didn't have a shower cap & too tired to run out to buy one soooo I just pulled it into a high bun and put a small trash bag & tied it really tight, maybe a lil ghetto, but it worked. I usually dont wear a cap while my hair is in it's natural state and while it is straight, usually the first week i'll make sure its wrapped up nice and tight with that stocking cap, put one of my bonnets on, then a shower cap & all set, but as time goes on I get more & more lazy and gamble with just throwing that shower cap on lol

Gypsy Witch: I wrap my hair and it looks good thanks for this. Your hair is gorgeous.

Fanta Diallo: If you don't want your hair to get wet in the shower wrap it up with a scarf first and then put the shower cap over it.

Ariadne Johnson: to prevent your hair from accidentally getting wet even when wearing a shower cap (have had the same issue), wrap your hair first, then put on the shower cap. A friend of mine likes to use a swimming cap instead but I use the wrap method.

Jade Star: wow, I have not tuned into this channel in a long time. That cut looks so sleek and beautiful on you. Love it!!!

gladitsnotme: The wrap is called the Donna Deluxe Foam Mesh Hair Wrap, it's at some Targets in black neighborhoods and on Amazon. :)

Lilly Barrios: I think you made this video 2 years ago but I just saw this. Your the only person that made a video about the mesh wrap caps and I went out and found the same wrap caps. They are so comfortable and easy to use. Just wanted to say thank you!

Jyvhyshkarr Elias: A trick I found that help, is before you get into the shower unwrap your hair pull it up in a bun/ pony tail and tie a satin scarf or any kind of head wrap around the edges... And when you get out the should immediately take off the scarf.

Synquette : You look really pretty, would love a make up tutorial for this look. Beautifulllllll hair btw!

Lou S: Here is what I do for shower. I leave my mesh wrap on then I cover that with a wave cap (the one that look like panty hose) make sure to pull wave cap snug over top of hair. Fold excess wave cap up away from face. Then put on shower cap covering all of the wrap. When done showering remove shower cap but leave wrap and wave cap on. You can either use a hand hair dryer or dome dryer and dry wave cap and mesh wrap on COOL setting until COMPLETELY dry (both hair and wraps). When you take off wraps hair will be still straight. Sometimes I will put a satin scarf over the wraps before putting on shower cap if I will be in the shower a long time just as added protection. Sorry so long winded but wanted to be thorough lol.

Adrianne McDonald: Thank you. Explained so well.

Puerto Rican princess Aka Sofia Herrera: My family calls this wrap a duby duby. We are Puerto Rican and black so it makes sense.

beautifulp23: I have been rapping my hair since the early 90's, and its the best method to keep ur hair straight.

LaTriece B: Once u wrap ur hair so often , u eventually don't have to use Bobby pins. U train ur hair

mani: I loved the way you wrap. I'm definitely taking note of this.

Tytiiie: I couldn’t wrap my hair for years I decided to go on YouTube and now I know thank you so much!!!!!!

Christine Martin: Beautiful hair Thanks for the tips

Debra Mccall: Very helpful - Thanks!

BreeBeyond: You can wrap your hair and then use a wide elastic band to put around your head. It will help prevent your hairline from getting wet in the shower.

Delmis J Rivera: Loving the hair, but the make up is on point. I really like the natural look!Tutorial please! Or product details, thank you beautiful!

Alaide Dias: Eu amei

Enimsaj Htby: Hey boo love your channel. Ik this sounds ghetto af an I'm kinda shame to say it, but sometimes ya gotta do whatchu gotta do lmao. To keep my hair from getting wet (bc I hate when the steam wave up my roots) I gather all my hair up high, twist my hair into a big twist & keep twisting it to create this tiny donut bun at the top. Secure w/a scrunchie. I put a cotton scarf over my head. I grab 2 Walmart grocery bags (clean ones of course) gather them both together bag within the other bag and place over my entire hair w/the grocery handles hanging over forehead area. I gather the handles as one and twist as tight as I can take and secure w/a hair clip. Idk it's something about those Walmart bags girlI love taking long showers no matter if I have my hair bone straight or curly my style always stay. Just make sure you have no holes in your bags and they'll work magic for you also. I've been doing this method for like 3 years. Never failed me Lmao sorry for the book, hope I helped!

ladynefertitibk: Nice results. Thanks for the tip on how to wrap with the part.

Mikayla Griffin: Ur a life saver supper easy and the results are amazing thank u so much

Elizabeth Frye: What is the small container you showed for the side of the hair to keep down?

sensitive Simon: I normally wear two shower caps... Might sound crazy but it really works lol

Camille Gabriele: You are so pretty and your hair looks so healthy.

Victoria Richardson: to keep my edges dry after i get out of the shower i use a face wash hair band, a hair scarf, and a shower cap. It never fails!

Onae': I have been trying to use those wraps for years never stays on my head at night. Maybe I'll give it another try.

Caylan Izabel: I've never heard of this method before. Would it prevent curly hair from becoming curly again? When I straighten my hair I struggle the next day because parts of my roots become curly. I don't do anything to it at night tho

Ju C: C'est la première vidéo que je regarde sur ta chaîne, et la première chose qui me soit venu à l'esprit, c'est "cette femme est magnifique!". Super vidéo!

Ashjon Veasley: omfg thank you.....I was search for hours on YouTube and Google about this and as I give up you pop up and I finally I got it. Thank you!

Mikayli Solomon: In New York most Dominican salons wrap your hair with the straight pins and then use a Duby (the net type of cap or scarf) and then take the pins out so there are no dents

Nelly Faria: Thank you for this tutorial. You are so lovely.

Tonia Stubbs: Does the mesh wrap leave your ears painful ? I have that problem

libertadmakeup: In my country we make something like a mesh hat, I made it crochet and after wrap the hair and put the bobby pins we out the mesh hat and take off all the pins for the mesh open holes and move the hat in the wrap direction for tight the hair. Is very easy and I have customers that use the crochet hat for go to the gym because the hair breath. Well I hope you can understand me, inglish is not my first language and I try my best

LaTanya Johnson: Never have the hair wet due to shower problem---my parents told us to just keep our heads out the water. We figured it out. No shower caps needed here.

alethia Cole: I'm having trouble with hair puffing up in center of my head what products could I use to keep the roots straight

Loren: it helped thank you!!

Kiara: I use a headband to cover my hair line and the rest of my hair in a bun in a hair cap so that when I wash my face in the shower my hairline is covered

CSmith 4029: I can't use a plastic shower cap bc it doesn't breathe and I sweat out my roots in the heat of the shower. I sleep in a silk scarf or bonnet and put a cotton twist turban on top of it when I hop in the shower. It works great for me. Also, I think your wrap direction determines the amount of volume you have on the top. It will be flatter to the head if you wrap in the direction you want the hair to fall. You wrap in the opposite direction if you want more volume.

Lucia Howell: Such a beautiful hair !!

Ruth Foxe: You can purchase a shower cap, tie a grocery bag on your head, or go to a beauty supply store and purchase a box of the clear plastic caps. All of those methods will protect your hair from getting wet in the shower. The choice is yours.

Erion Terell: Thank you you helped sooo much

Ameerah Williams: I use a bonnet and then roll up a bandana and trie that around the bottom of my bonnet before I put my shower cap on it worked well for me so far.

MEMSTIFFANY: Wrapping in the opposite direction adds volume to your swoop

Tay: I usually brush my hair up not too tight and a thick headband over my edges and then put on a tight shower cap and when I get out the shower my hair is always dry.

~Daphne Amy's World~!: I have that issue it makes my roots and edges become wet dry and fizzy due taking a bath or shower and also from sweating a lot too so I hope this World thanks for the idea love the video❤

Figgie Jammer: I use a shower cap and wrap a microfiber hair towel around it. never gets wet.

Misha: Do the bobby pins leave any dents over night?

Esthefany Rojás: When I shower I actually wrap my hair with the shirt I was wearing before the shower lol and maybe I'll put a shower cap on just to secure it a little more so it won't fall off my head

Gypsy Witch: Whats great about wrapping is not having to use a flat iron.

Alani Jean: Your hair is soooo healthy!!

Jayanna Reid: When I straighten my hair I put a plastic cap under a silk bonnet and it keeps it dry and doesn't frizz

Angie Smith: Thanks...your perspective on this is quite appreciated.

Salvadorian Mami: I need to buy that. My natural hair is really curly but I get a straight perm and when I have my perm you can really see the damage (I move a lot when I sleep) so my hair breaks

heymeeshi: They sell plush, towel textured headbands to keep your hair out of your face when you're washing it. Like the Turbie Twist. I use that under my shower cap (over my hair scarf) to keep my edges dry. Google "13 Headbands That Will Have You Looking Forward to Washing Your Face"

Miss. Phyllis Renee Foster: BEAUTIFUL HAIR CUT, BEAUTIFUL HAIR STYLE , I WILL GET ME ONE OF THESE HAIR WRAPS TOO, FOR MY HAIR AT NIGHT, THANK YOU FOR THIS VEDIO, NICE HAIR, AMEN

Becky LeBlanc: Where did you buy your wrap? The one I have isn't as wide and I like the tightness

Geraldine Fagan: I put my hair in Walmart bag, then twist the remainder of bag and tuck it.

Kimberley Gamble: Hi Tysm For Sharing This Hair Wrapped Video for Straighten Hair. First Time Viewing Your YouTube Channel. I Will Definitely Give This Video both a Thumbs Up & Subscribe to It as Well. Cause I'm Not That good to maintain my straighten hair. So I'm So Trying To Maintain It More Now; Cause a Quite Abit of my hair had to be cut off due to hair breakage by my hairdresser. Soraya LeBlanc: I recommend taking the Bobby pins out so wen u in rap u don't even need to go over it ...it will just flow

Diamond Brown: What if you wanted your hair parted in the middle, how do u wrap? Every time one side is flat and messed up.

Lydia Thornton: Thank you for this video.

Rebecca Sylvain: Gurll! I use 2 shower caps. Not a drop of water on my edges or anything using that method
