Foreign before we get started with today's video, I just want to inform you all that today, 11 11, there is free shipping on the Zara Cosmetics website when you use the code ship free at checkout. So you can click the link in the description box to access that special rare offer. Hey. Ladies, so, if I'm, if it sounds like I'm whispering it's because I am because it's pretty light, I don't know exactly what time it is. I didn't look but um. I wanted to basically include you all in this process, because I've decided the best thing for me. Right now is to cut my hair off and um. I'Ve decided that, because you know it has become burdensome to me, it has become a burden. It'S just for me. A sign that it's time to go um, I don't think you know me keeping my hair all these months was in vain because you know I'm still not having to chop off right there. You know at the line of demarcation from where my hair was over processed. So you know it is what it is. This was inevitable at a certain point. It was gon na have to happen and um, I don't know I feel like you know. This is a reminder to um, never place your identity in things that are external, because, at the end of the day those things can change. People will leave, you will leave people, you will have to move. People go move where you at you know your hair gon na grow. It'S going to fall out, it's just a part of life, you know, and those things do not Define us as people and um. I think you know put a lot of work into my hair. I made a lot of progress about here, but it's just like. I think the part of this experience. You know it's just some things are. I don't want to say out of your control because, like I told you all before um you can you should always follow your intuition intuitively. I knew that I knew what was best for my hair, but I chose to listen to somebody else. So ultimately, you know, I think, I'm still choosing to take responsibility but um. You know it does it's it's unfortunate that sometimes our hard work can be ruined by someone else's negligence, but this is for the best I am I have as of this moment. I have decided that for me in this particular point in time I think transitioning um back to Natural would be best just because, as you all saw, I was relaxed for two years. Let me see 2019. 2020. 2021. I was relaxed for three years, almost with no issues for the time that I was solely doing my hair. The two times I allowed other people to do my hair. They were devastating on my hair. The reason that I chose to allow them to do my hair was because I wanted a break and for me, although my hair was very time consuming the the reason that I decided to relax my hair was to cut down on time. You know I was in the salon - full-time working, you know nine 12 hour days. The last thing I wanted to do was to have to do my hair and for me it was something more um for time conservation and I just decided I just personally. I don't all of those years I didn't have to have anybody else. Do my hair outside of haircuts and um. I don't want to be in a position where I have to have somebody else. Do my hair or I have to feel that way. So, for me, um, I think going back to my natural hair, my textured hair and going back to being a heat style naturalist. What'S best for me, and I I think for me my alternative to when I feel like I need a break from my hair. Instead of relaxing, I will probably incorporate more protective styling um at this particular point in time, and I say that because I've learned you know to Never Say Never but um. I really don't see myself going to get my hair done again outside of a haircut. I just really don't um. The common denominator, for me is other people in my hair, with the exception of you know, if I were to open a salon, I don't feel like. It would be fair to my clients to allow somebody in their head, who I wouldn't trust in mine, but outside of that that'll - probably be it for me, so I will most likely be continuing to protect both not most likely. I will probably be continuing to protective style um for the most part moving forward, and that's that so I don't really have any ideas for how I'm about to cut my hair. I just know that I'd like to cut it, so that is what I'm gon na. Do - and I wanted to include you all this, because I get so many comments and stuff that I'm just like it's honestly, really sad how many people go through stuff like this, and you know I just want y'all to know like I've been in the summer with My clients, you know having to convince them like, oh you should you're gon na need. I would suggest cutting it blah blah blah I've been here and um. You know a lot of us, especially a stylist. We might say, like we make jokes about clients who are um super attached to their hair, and but you know it's it's true. It'S hair is not just hair. I don't care what anybody says. It'S never just been here. If it was just hair, it wouldn't be a billion dollar industry multi-billion dollars. So that's that so I don't really know what I really don't know what I'm doing y'all on camera. I know um, you all may feel like. Oh, what's wrong, um! It'S it's just wrong period. Let'S see, I don't even know. I am really not good at cutting my own hair, so I don't even know where to start. Maybe I should do a Chinese bang. Maybe I should let me look up some stuff to figure it out. I had to take that HDR setting off that is so ugly, like I literally made it so I think, okay, what I'm gon na attempt to do to cut a fringe, bang and then do some kind of uh only shall see how this comes out. At this point, I don't even care literally, I do not even care once you know like the thing is once you know how to do something. You know it is what it is once you know how to make money. It'S okay to go broke because once you know, you'll get you'll get the money back. You know it's! Okay, to move! It'S okay to up and move it's! Okay! It'S just! Okay! You know it's just life. The key is knowing when it's time to let go, though it's okay to put in a little work and you know, try to make stuff work, but after a while, once you see something it's just like not worth it anymore, you just got ta leave it alone. You got ta, weigh the cost and see if it's worth the return, and if it's not, then you got a decision to make. Excuse my armpitsha, I'm getting waxed next week, foreign. Why? Why so they're giving me they have to do they're gon na brighten it up? They have to and they're paying for it it's coming out of their pockets. Let'S just start that next week the girl was telling me. I need to wait for my uh skin to heal. So there's that goodness gracious people just don't do their job. Do they don't they whatever, if you're out there dealing with people? Do you do your job or just don't work into that, get on the streets? Because it's like look at that foreign s back in middle school, when Nicki Minaj, I came out everybody's like you, look like Nicki Minaj, you look like Nicki Minaj, yeah lying, but thanks all right y'all. This is something I'm not about to do on camera. This is like doing lashes, okay, so I'll be back; okay excuse their sound y'all, so I want to do a bob, bi or Bob, because I already got a Bob at this point, like my hair, a little bit foreign like because I'm putting braids in which is Kind of like it because the blunt cut is gon na be annoying, but it's okay. It'S like I want to go short because the whole keep it. I want to go really short, but then I'm thinking about trying to cut the back and I'll be back foreign from the DIY community on YouTube. Okay, let's see see if this works, this is hilarious. Foreign, my gosh foreign looks so good. Actually, this is a good idea. Okay, right here, it's a little messed up. This is me all right, wow that freaking works, wow, wow, wow, wow, Karen, that's actually decent Karen wow wow. Would you look outside wow? Would you look at that y'all? Remember that all my hood of them's out there wow that actually baby one two three tell them get the referee because he can get The Knockout if the telephone rings it's an emergency cause. He can get that knockout. You know who I look like you already know. I look like drop it in the comments you already know on my gen Z, babies. You already know, I don't even remember the little do accent from The Incredibles, goodness, oh and now, foreign goodness, gracious, goodness gracious. Let me go in and fix this because I'm not going to be looking like taekwondo taquan and it would be nice if it was kind of ascent. I mean that isometric light hmm running fast for my day, job running back when the way it was hmm, I'm never going back, I'm never going back. No, you can't make me I had enough of petty doing damn. I don't even got to get my eyebrows done. Damn, oh I'm trying to put them ready and do she even got to get them eyebrows done. That'S like that's really determine what kind of female you will use. Do you put lotion on in the winter or no do you paint them toes in the winter or no you're gon na get your eyebrows done still or no okay, it looks way better. I really do all right. Let me go in here. Let me get the thumbnail yeah. I know you two be dramatic with Nintendo foreign, so I will literally could not take it anymore and I just had to make it do what I do. Let me finish so here, I'm just taking the texturizing shears already. Did this side, I did a little bit on this side, but then I let some more hair down, so you can see the difference. Foreign. Thank you, foreign. It looks, wavy, okay and then I'm gon na get this bang together. Okay, so this is after texturizing it as you can see, it looks so much freaking better, like literally um, I did flat iron it a little bit before I finished cutting it. So now what I'm gon na do is go back in and just really actually soak. It out and then go from there so far. I love it, though I feel so much better like this hair was weighing me down advertised your piece and your happiness period, so I will be back to show you all the finished results. Peekaboo Patriot. Thank you see your girl. When I tell y'all I love this haircut. Oh my gosh, it came out looking amazing, I'm gon na take some Azara cosmetics. It'S dirty! Excuse me. If you have the scalp Elixir and you're, not using it as a daily hair oil or a detangler, you miss it now baby, it's multi-functional, take a little bit of that to soften it. Up give it some shine. Oh my gosh, I love it. Foreign foreign Team Challenge, if you're currently experiencing some hair woes, you already know get that um scale. Perfector from Azara Cosmetics Link in description box is givingly said I feel, like my name is: let's say I'm from the Bronx yo. What'S up, my name is: listen, got some hair in my eye, good night, foreign

Syddin Pretty: Ladies, this day was bound to come. I am not one to keep hair on just for length. I am quick to cut it. I was tired of those old raggedy ends, and I wanted my hair to get back to how it used to wasss. I am LOVINGGG this hair cut. I'm not sure if I will maintain it or grow it out but I'm really enjoying it. The men are loving it, the girls is loving it, the dogs is loving it, and the cats. This is your sign to part ways with that dead weight. It'll grow back. And once you learn how to master your hair regimen, you'll get back to where your hair was even faster the next time. Cactus Flower: Trimming hair because it’s damaged is always a dreadful feeling. I had a setback a year ago from using expensive “only natural” products that gave me protein overload in my hair —-and my hair broke off in the winter time which made my protein damage worse from the cold environment. I had to cut off 3 1/2 inches of hair which was a big deal to me because I was almost at waist length, but I prayed about it and bought cheap old school products like queen Helene cholesterol and sulfur 8 shampoo and now I’m glad I did trim it at that moment, because now, my hair is growing mid back length just four inches away from my waist (I checked today) which was my wash day and my hair looks and feels healthy than ever before it’s soft and bouncy and I have 4c/4d natural hair. I know the reason why, because I pray for my hair everyday. God is the main reason my hair grew back like the trim never happened. He told me to trim it and leave it alone and let it grow and that’s what I did. Now all I do is wash it, band it up, and put it away in my hijab like repetition every time.

Lady J: That’s so sad but I only have had stylists tear my hair down and I paid for it. I am not sure why their are so many mediocre stylists not perfecting their craft.

Miss Mecca Jay: I sooooo understand this. Had to do this back in May. But as you know, with your skills it’ll grow back longer and stronger. I’m looking forward to watching your growth journey. ❤

Saleemah Cartwright: I'm so excited for you. Off to a fresh start. ❤️ It will grow back healthier and stronger. I have cut my hair countless times. It taught me to not be attached to external things because external things are constantly changing. Now I love using heat to loosen my natural curl pattern as a straight natural. It makes my life so much easier on washday. Blessings on your new journey. I'll be watching.

Vivian Egwuonwu: I can tell you have an emotional relationship with your hair and I respect that. Cheer up, girl. Based on your knowledge on hair, you can grow it back natural and this time it might flourish compared to your previous natural hair journey. God got you

Egypt S.: I feel the same way! I'm a stylist and I went to a trichologist who over-protein'd my hair and I have to cut inches off every other month its horrible. It just keeps breaking . Its so brittle! I'm over it! No more others, not even trims for me.

Shayla Sullivan: Omg girl...I loved ur hair before but after the cut it turned out really cute. But I know exactly how u feel when u gotta make that decision to cut it or not❤️

Braundi619 HelloUniverse: This video touched me.. As a stylist and a natural that has also been relaxed.. I just get it!!!

Kalisha J: I definitely get wanting to get help sometimes because it can be tiring. I recently went back to the salon for my relaxers because I was tired of doing them myself and I only get 3 sometimes 2 a year and decided to pay someone else. It sucks that the cause of what happened to your hair was not even your doing, that makes it more painful. Wishing you the best of luck on your new journey and the haircut is banging, I love it!!

kareg 0418: I'm sorry you had to go through that.. But this experience will be a great testimony when you reach waist length or longer. ❤️

locked honey princess: What a beautiful outcome!!!

Le G.: It’s a LOOK! Minor setback for a bountiful comeback

Ravan Janae: girl I was texturing my hair then dye my hair 2 months after my last texturizer just for my hair to break off! so ima just be a straight hair natural at this point I was tired of the wash and go's anyways even tho I loved the curl pattern I got with texturing

Victoria Giler: did this in September after a huge setback -- I cried, but you got to let go of the dead ends!

0tismadaline: Sometimes you just have to go for that cut, hair is just a journey

pretty pr1ncess: i understand how you feel. i did something similar a few months ago. i want to do a bob when mine grows out. do you do keratin treatments?

TerriJoe: The Bob suits you

Nyokabi: Hair turned out great

Jozann Simmons: That's so good congratulations

SB: The stakes are just too high with chemically processed hair. One bad service and you’re done, not worth it
