I'Ve always been very inspired to try many different hairstyles. I love going from long to short as a stylist, I like to change it up and really get some variety because of all my extension knowledge, I'm not really ever afraid of going short, because I know I have clip in extensions and extensions that can bring it Back too long instantly, so I was recently inspired to cut my hair into the Bob I've seen celebrities wearing the Bob everywhere: Rihanna Katy Perry, Katie Holmes, Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, going to Paltrow. I mean the list goes on and on they're wearing long bobs or in short, bobs bobs with bangs. I really have a standard bob. What I cut is a longer bob. It'S cut at a 45 degree angle and it's also an angled bulb. So if you like that cut that's what you're gon na want to tell your stylist to do. This is just a basic bob. I'Ve blow-dried it and I flat ironed it and you can see it's a nice clean cut, but it just kind of lays really flat against my head. When I see celebrity Bob's, I see big glamorous full layered bobs, and I know that there's some insider tips and tricks that are getting those Bob's to look so great and perfect. So I'd like to share those with you following this. So one of the first tips and tricks I love from taking a bob from drab to fab is to bump up the volume in your Bob. I do this by just sectioning off and doing some back combing around my bob. So I'll take a section right about there, clip it out of the way and a little hairspray and a fine-tooth comb spray and do a little back comb. Creating a little shelf like that. You can see how it sticks out, you're going to smooth over that. But you do want the little cushion to actually have some volume, you'll repeat on the back and as well on the other side. So now that you've, given it some volume down at the root with the pre teasing, using a boar bristle brush you're, just going to smooth over disguising the teasing - and this gives you some nice - rounded volume - it's already looking a little bit more glamorous but another trick. That i love-love-love is to use a hair piece called bump up the volume. It'S a volumizing system by hairdo. It comes actually 16 inches long, but I've cut it into the length of my bob and if you have bump up the volume you can take it to your stylist and have them cut it to match your hairstyle exactly so. What I'm going to do with this is taking a section up on my crown. There'S three pressure-sensitive Clips on top going to clip those in and the great thing about bump up the volume is that taking the bottom clip you can make it as big as you want or just leave it, as is for some natural volume, and then you clip The bottom clip then just taking some of your hair, you simply blend it in to the bump up the volume this gave me instantly more hair. It gave me more volume and you can see how dramatically different it made my cut. This is perfect because with teasing it can fall can be affected by humidity, and this just stays put right where it is, the pressure-sensitive Clips aren't going anywhere and I'm gon na have this gorgeous volume. In my BOB all day long. I wear this almost daily with my bob to have the perfect look. There'S one more trick that I use to have the perfect bob and I'll show you that, following this, one of the looks I've been dying to try out is the Bob with bangs. Now, I'm brave enough to cut all my hair off and try the Bob, but I'm not brave enough to cut all my hair off and cut bangs both take forever to grow out. But I don't have to be brave enough to cut bangs with clip-in bangs. I'M going to show you how clip-in bangs can completely transform the look of your Bob. These are clip-in bangs by hairdo. There'S three pressure-sensitive Clips, I'm just gon na pop these in and show you how it completely changes the look of my Bob. So a clip in the top center and then the two sides and then just blend the longer side fringe in you can see that has already completely changed the look. It'S taken it from big and glamorous to more stylish and sleek. This is how Rihanna wears a bob Katy Perry, a Victoria Beckham. It'S really a completely different look than what I was just showing you. So I've showed you three great ways to wear your bob. Remember. This started out feeling like a tutorial and ended up feeling like a commercial. I think you'd benefit from mixing in more tutorial while also promoting your product; that way, it feels less like an informicial.
