Hi everyone i'm radonna from boys and girls hairstyles today i have krista with me she's a super good friend. Our boys are best friends, so she has two boys that are just um what a year and a half well two years in school, no just a year in school, yeah anyway, and so my boy and her two boys. They are all best friends. So it is so fun, so they slept at my house a ton. Hers like they are like brothers, so anyway, that's a little story about krista and um. She has a gorgeous face um, but she has a darling haircut that we're gon na do so. I wanted to show you that um she usually has her hair cut up to here, um, but she's, just letting it grow for a little bit and she's ready to go short. So what we're gon na do is bring the back up again like she had it, because you know we like short and easy right, krista yep, yeah she's like i need this gone. Okay, so we're just going straight across here there. It goes yay, you're, gon na feel. Like you again, i know i know it's been a while. You know yeah like it's been a while okay, so this side same thing: okay, sweet now. What we're gon na do is take from the middle of her ear. Um and then you'll notice, when i dry this, what i did was i well. Let me explain this first instead of the color okay, so i'm going to stack this, so you can see how much i'm taking um it's about half of what she has right there. So, just so this is is stacked. She doesn't, you know, really want to have to to deal with the back um, so it can just kind of dry down which she loves and heck crystal when you go to do your hair tomorrow, you're gon na be like oh, this is so easy. I'Ll, probably save like five minutes every day, yep exactly it's so true, so so true, okay, so and you can see that i'm i'm pulling this back to take this, to cut that. Okay and now this side same thing, you can see that guide. Point underneath and that's what i line it up to so it's all the same length. Okay, all right now we're going to take another little section here and, of course hold this out, see that guide point underneath that you can see right there. Okay, so point cut into that. Also, okay hold this out. So i'm just following that guide point like i said um, so what i did was with her color underneath i did a window with a 5n with just 10 volume and then i did a 4r. I weaved in a 4r with 10 volume and um bleach and then a 4r, so i did the 4r um, the brown, the 5n and then the blonde. So i did every other one, so you'll be able to see the color more when we dry it. Obviously, okay, so right here you can see that guide point and i'm going to come up. Oh my goodness krista. It hasn't been this long for a long time, so she is gon na have a brand new haircut. That'S what's fun about growing it like you can grow it and then once you're ready for a change. Then it's like a change. So that's super fun. So our boys, i have to tell you guys a little story. Um and i'll. Tell it to you why i'm just following this guide point so just keep following the guide. Um our boys called us the other day and said: hey come come watch out the or come out outside. We need to show you something i'm like okay. So, of course i put my video camera on. In fact we should put it on there anyway. So i turn on my video camera and they i hear this noise when briggs is pulling up in his car. I'M like what is that, and i look over and you guys this tumbleweed is ginormous, it's as big. He was holding it outside of his car like taking it hilarious. It was the funniest thing, i'm not kidding you, we laughed but they're just doing funny things like that. All the time we're like what are you doing, we have to show you how big this tumbleweed is so they're always doing fun. Things like that they're cute cute, cute, kiddos, okay, so i'm just doing these layers in there just following that guideline line: okay, all right! Okay! So there is that now what i'm gon na do is she likes the length in her front this side's a little shorter? So what we're going to do is we're going to bring this other side up a little bit, we're just going to try to even it out with taking it without taking a ton um, because she really likes the length over here. So we're going to even it out just a little bit um, but this is such a cute cut, especially when i dry it. It'S really cute, okay, so where she wants it longer, i'm gon na angle, i'm not gon na go straight across i'm gon na angle. Up, can you just hear that hair dropping and the reason i put it on an angle is because that top point will be the longest point of that hair? That'S going to fall longer, so that's why you do it on an angle. Okay, now we'll do the other side you doing good, krista, yep, okay, awesome, awesome, excited right, you're, gon na feel brand new girl. You will you will okay, so now what i'm to do here is so this is the shorter side. So what i'm going to do is just come through here and just barely trim, so that can keep growing because trimming is key to growing your hair okay. So then, i'm going to bring this side and i'm going to bring this so you can see where it's cut here and then i'm just going to take this off. Okay! Okay, that's that's pretty much evened out! Okay! So perfect! Then we're going to do some texture up through here, of course, don't go in the part. You don't want to go where the part is just where it bends. I'M excited for you guys to see the color color is really pretty too i'm just going to do a little bit back through this area. All right now for styling, one of my new faves is the volume lift spray. It'S kind of like the mousse and thickening spray had a baby with the root lifter yeah, the root, lifter and then the spray yes, and it smells good yeah. It doesn't feel good. Have you used it yet i haven't yeah, i just you probably have my thickening spray. Oh did you you'll probably want to get those the next round like this again yeah, i'm excited a lot of radonna's. Clients have um switched over to it recently and it's yeah they're, loving it okay sweet! Now we're going to drag her back down, i'm going to just actually take my trimmer there we go. I just want to clean that up a little bit. Nobody probably would have seen that just okay, so i'm just bringing that down and then of course go the opposite way of. Where do you need the volume? So she comes this way, so i'm going to dry it the other way, and then this way, okay and now i'm just gon na bring in the round brush. Does it feel whiter? Yes, okay, you guys. Okay, all right! I love see you can see the color, like, i said, there's the red, the red and a light and a dark and a red light dark anyway. I just love love that on her. So, okay, now what i'm going to do is take my pin cone and sorry, oh, i can say just have it right here, but it's right. Okay, then i'm gon na hold the sides up and then of course i like to spray underneath and isn't that stack cute. I love that. I just think it it's just great. It'S not like super tight, but it's not too. I don't know it's it's easy for her to do so. That'S a huge plus okay in down and out um, both of us love, poofy, hair, right, krista, yeah uh, we just like big hair. So it's fine! That'S why you know i have to have mine short and spiky, so it'll just be because, like like big hair, just always been a big hair gal. That'S all there is to it. When i go out of state and people see me they're, like. Are you from utah, could you tell my poofy hair they're like no doesn't even give it away like? I know? Okay, so oh my gosh krista, it's so cute! Oops sorry didn't mean that snag your hair, so cute, okay, so i'm just gon na hurry and look in the mirror and i'll get you higher. So you can see in the mirror and see if you like it, you're better you like. Yes, i love it good. You'Re like oh, it's me it is, and it just feels good because it's still dark like you like, but it has the bright and then the red with it. Is that good? That'S exactly what i needed! Yay awesome!
