How to cut a line pop first comb out any knots and tangles gather all the hair evenly in one hand, when you're doing this technique of yourself, I would recommend to use two mirrors, so you can see the back of your hair, then clip the cria clip As shown make sure you clip it evenly on both sides holding the cria clip steady in one hand, pinch both sides towards the middle. This will create an a-line shape. The cria clip clips tight in the hair, freeing your hands for easy cutting then check for balance. The crea clip has a built-in level for balance cuts every time here we are showing you how to pinch the sides one more time. This technique is much easier. If you have someone to cut the back you're doing this technique at home, I would recommend to use clippers to cut it's much easier than scissors hold the Clipper flush against the crib clip and then cut all the hair, extend it beneath the clip perfect a line. Bob hairstyle, oh, we will style with a flatiron, take small sections and Flatiron both sides and easy trims with the cria clip perfect a line. Alice Rose: Great video! I followed this guide and it came out very well. Got a friend to clean up a few stray hairs in the back. I used hair scissors and made little 45 degree snips along the bottom of the clip for a more textured look rather than the blunt look the model had in this video. I know a lot of people in the comments are bashing this product but honestly I've had my hair seriously screwed up by hair dressers, I'd rather do it myself practically for free (besides the initial $30 clip + $5 scissors + $5 salon cape investment) than pay somebody to butcher it! Plus the crea clip saves me a lot of time, it used to take 30 to 45 minutes for me to cut my hair with just scissors and now it's about 5 minutes with the clip, and now my haircut always comes out perfectly even!

Poenut: I crossed my fingers and bought a Creaclip a couple of years ago and have been using it to cut my hair ever since. It does a good job of giving you basic cuts/trims..even layers. You DO have to clean it up a little with scissors afterward though--which is to be expected for such a product. Saves having to run to a stylist every time you need a trim.

Steffi P: This is exactly how I trim my own back of my hair myself. I use a mirror in front so I can always see the back of my head and then I slide the clip down (my hair is about to the bottom of my neck) and I use a clipper to just cut it off. My arms JUST make it for this length. :) Any longer and you would need someone to cut it for you.

NMorgan: This is exactly the video I was looking for! Thank you creaclip for this groundbreaking invention!

missPaty82: There is so much more that goes in to perfecting a bob.  The haircut in this video looks so-so.  Not the greatest but obviously some people are ok with it.  There is no personalization or texturizing of the cut.  But for those who want to save $$ and have an ok haircut, I guess it works.  These videos of do-it-yourself usually brings more clients into the salon needing cuts fixed.

kaligirl1980: I'm shocked at how well this turned out. While I won't be cutting my hair anytime soon as I'm trying to grow it out, I have to admit that it's a pretty cool tool.

Andrea Chaves: She was trying hard not to cry. I understand her, the ends were really uneven! But then she looked happier when someone secretly fixed her hair without telling to the costumers about it! Way to go, that's exactly what I expect from any company that has a little respect for their clients!

TorysTrending: It looks so pretty!! I'm definitely getting this style

Eugenia Gkourlia: My heart suddenly broke at 1:20. But the result was perfect! Good job! Congrats!

// 1975MattyLove //: I have one and i love it. It's awesome!

Star J: This is incredible I don't know what these people are talking about it will save lots of money if you do it yourself great job, need to get one of these

blindwelcome: Any thoughts on how to make more angled edges in the front? Hoping someone's figured out...

LEE: I think it's a cute cut. Of course you're going to have professionals and trolls coming in here yelling about it being awful. Ignore them. It looks fine and is a great option for those that want to try to do it themselves. Obviously it's not going to give a super perfect cut... which is why you'll need to clean it up a bit, but it looked like it got the job done. I've been using the larger curved creaclip on my hair for a few years now to create layers and am very happy with the product. Whenever I go shorter, I'll be trying this.

Jae McLean: Well I enjoyed the video. I didn't use the clip but I used the same method with my fingers and it turned out really great and I have never done this before. Great video

Anisha Jaiswal: This clip and trimmer idea is brilliant for a diy!! Special Thank you, courtesy covid-scare!!

Alana Thomas: this has definitely been trimmed/cleaned up with scissors- they showed obvious jagged bits on close up that were 'miraculously' gone in the final shot.. Crea clip looks like it would be good for getting the initial shape only.

Rachel Bass: Love the tool. My mom just won't let me cut my own hair.

casey f: I just did it and it works!!!!

lea white: That's beautiful and looks so professional

Ruby Trotman: I have been using this method for cutting my own hair when it was long.

Ghostysaurus: This is awesome, I wanna get one but no money at the moment...but it will definitely be on my list. :)

1911 daniii: exactly what i wanted i didnt know how to get that longer bang side and that its that easy ! thank you

TurkFebruary: Yeah, you can do this at home yourself. That's exactly why I had a long and intense apprenticeship at a top Manhattan salon.

zsugar19: Seems like it would be useful for a home cut.  I think wearing something over your shirt/blouse would be a good idea.  CreaSmock!!!

The Biscoe’s: No problem I do hair but never been to hair school I've used this method with all my ladies and they love it as well thanks for this because I got way more clients now :))

TC: I love my Creaclip! I get so many compliments on my hair!

monica: what if you want it to be more layered in the back? would you do the same technique for doing layers? and how much hair would you section off?

Chantel Charles: It is Beautiful ! She made it look simple to do ....

Sarah Ball: Omg I love how she looked so happy with it even though its was uneven as hell lol

TheSarahBarba: I've been cutting my own hair for a while. The back needs evening out, there's an obvious layer there and it doesn't look good that's because the hair is stacked in the center when she cuts. I can see this product working well for bangs. Remember hair, when gathered at the ends should look like tip of a makeup brush.

Megz C.: Mine's a lot thicker, even when straight, and goes down passed bra strap length. I'm multiracial (black, white, Native American), with similar hair to Alicia Keys, only thicker. These clips work fine--though not sure I'd have the guts to do an A-line bob on my own haha (I do long layers with it to lessen the bulk). The most common line I receive from a new stylist, ever since I was a kid, has been "damn girl, you have a lot of hair." It's fun to watch their eyes widen when I walk in the door. ;)

cavhutch: Hi girls. I will be 80 next year and have never had a good hairdresser who did what I asked. Please continue to cut your own hair. Bobs are so classic whether your hair is thin or thick, curly or straight.

Quemekia Whatley: love it!

The Biscoe’s: man i just did this and it turned out wonderfull iam soo excited it looks great i used two jumbo clips same tunout yay me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kalihaywood23: This helped alot!!

Freya Grant: Was not expecting it to look so good

Ulfah Dwi Januarti: so beautiful and easy step!

joellajoramsey5656: Awesome job thanks so much

Pandafye: I must get one of these! Ive seen a lot of videos with people using them. So much easier looking that the rubber band technique thing. :D!

Tina Klein: I love the product. I noticed that someone, obviously, cleaned up the missed hairs, for the end shot ;)

daiana morel: me encanto asi lo tenia hace tiempo atras me re contra encanto gracias poir compartir tus ideas..

Ngoc Anh Nguyen: great! I like it so much. I like to cut ny hair by myself.

Destruktinator: That is just gorgeous.

Victoria Crowder: You do realize that with enough mirrors you can cut your hair the right way as they do in a salon

bestiaccia: Incredible!!!!

Phia_79: LOVE THIS CUT...  IT IS VERY PRACTICAL

JadeLeaf1980: If you're going to get this, you need to invest in getting a razor to shape your hair afterwards just to soften out the blunt lines that you end up with. I cut family hair with this and if you have a razor with a a feathering attachment you can do a pretty nice hair cut (simple styles). Of course it won't look overly professional but for those who can't afford to get haircuts or don't have time to wait for appointments, etc, these things are a good investment.

Watchgirl 77: Over time, the leveler stops working.  My hair was SO jacked up!  I had to get it fixed by a pro. :(  Too bad, I had a lot of faith on this thing. After that episode of jacked hair.. I still cut my own hair, just not with the creaclip.

münevver yalçın: Saç kesimi çok pratik .Kullanılan aletin adı nedir.? Türkiye'de var mıdır?

Rachel Lotus: that's the look. it's called the asymmetrical a-line bob, i personally thinks it looks really classy and sexy :)

Maria Jernov: love this haircut!

ORQUESTAS PARA BODAS HENRY CABREJOS ORQUESTA: Soy de Peru como hago para conseguir esas vinchas...gracias por tu respuesta

Tynee Tikk: Wow! That is cool!

Beth Goodman: I use a Pampered Chef Twixit bread clip. Looks like the same thing without that silly level. I won't say it's a great cut, but is cheap...!

Francesca Teresa Gama: I like the inverted cuts so that they dont flip so easy but for a quickie this is amazing thanks

that1spazticchik: i love my creaclip...one day when i get brave i'll try this look!

Haddasa: That cut really looks nice on her

RecurveLife: Love it

Annie Kamya: She has great hair!!

Leah Lenore: Why does everyone think the cut looks bad? I think it looks lovely.

Sharon La Tour: The model's hair was uneven when she put it in the clip, so it was uneven when she took it out. it was cleaned up before it was styled!

CatMom: Very pretty!

Maya Smudja: This method doesn't work if you have thick hair. My hair is fine, but there are a lot of natural layers. When you cut through it with the clippers, it doesn't cut as well. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this method. I'm sure it worked for many people. But it butchered my hair. I now have to wait a month for it to grow back...so that I look some what decent. You should really update this, and maybe mention how this method would work for different hair types.

Heike The Angel: Made my day!

Little dark age: so cute !!

maya mooncat: I DID IT! From Over--Shoulder-Lenght to Chin length!! I must admit, first i thought, Maybe this wasn't the best idea and it was not soo easy - bit of a pain to check on the level ... but it looks just great and i get many compliments and when i say, i cut it myself, jaws are dropping :-))) . Thanks for this genius invention! Greetings from Germany!!

maddie: tried this.. it leaves you with a ton of random long pieces and someone else needs to go in to clean it up, that's if it even turns out slightly decent.

sebbycrax: Interesting how easy can be a hair cut...

Noe Noe: It´s nice!

Araceli Benítez: Loooove it, I look cute now haha :)

sandfay1977: The finshing touch doesnt look hacked. It looks great! The economy is bad, people are trying to save money. $29 is nothing compared to an expensive haircut every 3 months or so. Its reuseable plus you can create other styles with it. I consider it a good investment.

Welsh Gardener: it would be better if there is an attached razor to the clip which you can lift when you putting your hair in and close to cut when you feel its ready. Also leveling bit attached on the clip can be useless as your head needs to be perfectly leveled first to get your hair leveled in the clip.

Rachel Flower: When she took off the CreaClip it was so uneven and jagged! It looked awful! Then the close up, all the jagged bits are gone....clearly someone fixed it! It definitely made me NOT want to buy a CreaClip. LOL

Juanita Martinez: The hair cut does look bad, but it is enough of a guide to clean it up with scissors to make it look decent. I have been to so  many hairdressers and they are all garbage, sick of paying someone to jack up my hair

that1spazticchik: @creaclip I can't wait to see it!

David taylor: Luv that creaclip!!

Nenden Rahmawati: OMG That is so much easy.

Judy Anne: How do you layer it in the back?

H2OFaery: love my creaclip!

Cary Stone: even worse than the first creaclip video I watched! great way to create holes your stylist will have to TRY to fix. hope nobody goes this short because it won't be possible!

Angela: i actually like that one side is longer than the other. i say it looks pretty

Flower Philips: As a professional stylist, this made me cringe just a bit. How scary!? I'm sure you'd get quite a rush using this method.

estefanie anaya: I did it with a pony tail :p it's pretty much the same but it's harder to cut since the hair is thicker.

Decko streams: Style perfect

Cla abc: No way would I trust myself to do that....when she got out the clippers I was like "oh hellll no!"

5 Of Hopes .-.: It's hard to cut your own hair compared to someone else's lol

Razwana Khaing: Beautiful

Mary Ellen Barratt: If you bend the head forward the cut will naturally turn under .

ANIMA ZEN: I LIKE IT!

Tika Den Jemni: nicely done

Cassandra Holiday: Wow, so glad im not the only one who thinks this was bad and im not even a stylist. I was looking for an easier way to give myself a cut like this but oh well, scissors it is!

Michelle M: can you do a video of someone with long hair doing a blunt one length cut on their own without a helper.

sstraya: @itssarahemily its because her hair is parted on the side so when she pulls it to the back it has more length to travel so that side will be longer if she parted it in the center and then cut it it would be the same length on both sides

Alice Thurr: Omg.... so cute.

Robbie Marquez: Between the 'perfect' cut and the flat ironing...all the mistakes have fixed the normal way I am sure. It is not the same haircut.

Belinda Saab: your hair is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute and very beautiful.

Sleepy Weepy: Lol, it's not that bad. The ends are a bit blunt and choppy looking right after, but it already makes it easier to get everything to about the correct length so you just have to trim it, I guess.

Lena: People are forgetting that for a leveler, you have to be on point. If your head is slightly tilted at an angle, you wouldn't get that "even" cut. I wouldn't buy anything that claims to do a miracle. If it's too good to be true, then it's probably isn't.

Allie K.: Better have one super strong buzzer, and then go back and go the other way. Cutting one way angles the hair and will be longer that way

Constantine Valentine: it really bothers me that they didn't finish the ends of the hair with scissors or something.
