Today, i'm gon na be showing you the steps that you need to take in order to get your short blunt bob to look wavy sexy, textured and ultra modern. If that sounds good to you, then keep on watching here's what you will need in order to achieve this look tool. Number one is a blowout brush a blow up brush is amazing because it creates a really smooth, silky soft blowout, and if you have really textured hair or curly hair or very frizzy hair like mine, it is an essential step in order to create just about any Look that you want to create the one that i'm using right now is a dupe for revlon and i got it on wish.com. If you want to see a review video and a demo about that, then you can check out this video next. Don'T judge me because that was one of the first videos that i ever did myself and well it's not that good. You will also need a flat iron. I am using the revlon copper smooth flat iron that i got on amazon, not to shamelessly promote myself again, but there is also a review video on that too. It was a 37 flat iron and it freaking rocks. I use it every single day on my hair and you will also need a one inch curling iron, this one that i have is just from my hair dressing kit, there's no video about it, slacker and finally get yourself some texture spray. I love the ag tousle texture, but honestly, i feel like every texture spray. I'Ve tried, aside from like a sea salt spray which i'm really not into works awesome. We are ready with our tools in hand, and now we can get started, but before we do that, don't forget to subscribe down below and give me a thumbs up. Step number one is to blow dry your hair. This brush is great because it grips your hair and creates a really smooth and silky end result. I have curly hair and it's very frizzy and kind of out of control, so this tames it completely if you have curly, hair or frizzy hair before you want to do like a tousled soft kind of wavy. Look, it's really important that you can control it from the wet stage it just. It makes everything look better overall, so remember to move section by section so that you get your hair, 100 dry and completely smooth. Now that it's straight, i want to show you something that bone in the back of your head, that projects out is called the occipital bone. If you have a short bob and you want it to look wavy, you do not, and i repeat you do not want to curl anything under the occipital bone, so you are going to take your flat iron and you are going to straighten it bone straight now. When you get above the ear on the sides, you want to give your hair some wave, but really not curl it. Yet so what you're going to do is you're going to take your iron and you're going to move it like a crimper you're going to push it up, push it down, push it up, cool right, my hairdresser, and i literally discovered this trick last week. It creates like a really kind of fun: modern crimp, that's not too harsh, creates just enough movement to get you that tousled look without creating like a curly curl look now, when you get to the top section, you are going to grab your curling wand, and this Is where it gets a little more advanced, so put your attention goggles on the way that this works is. You are going to clamp the hair into the curling wand and you are going to spin it around your head. Then you are going to release the hair. Push the wand down rotate it back up, release the hair and slide it through the ends. Don'T freak out! You got this. Let'S try again in this section i'm going to go towards the face, so it doesn't look too ferrofosity. If we do every single section away from the face with shorter hair, you start to get like a fair faucet like one curl vibe thing going, so you want to alternate a little bit just making sure that the hair, that's right in front of your face, goes Away from it, so what we're going to do is we're clamping we're sliding down. We are spinning it into the head: don't let the hair get too hot, so don't leave it on too long or it gets too curly unwind it with that. First section still in the barrel slide down and there you go, then we move on to the other side we're doing the exact same thing, we're alternating, curling towards and away from the face, but when we get close to the face we curl away. And finally, you want to spray that hair with some tassel texture spray, separate the waves, scrunch and bam so cute and modern. Thank you so much for watching. I hope that you learned something new today. If you tried out this look, then let me know in the comment section below i love getting comments from you guys if you want to learn how to keep your frizzy hair smooth in humidity and overnight then check out this video next. As always i'll see you in a few days, bye

Glam Girl Gabi: Thanks for watching friends! Here are the links to some of the videos I mentioned: 1. Hot Air Brush from Wish Review: https://youtu.be/gsyOcBRPdE8 2. Vicki Bruck: Thank you for the awesome styling tips. I’m 70 years young with natural silver hair color. Thought it was time to remove the younger natural dark hair which I have been coloring for past 25 years. I also let it grow from a short spiked look into a bob but it still needs to grow a couple more months to get it where I want it. I’m at home most of the time now which makes growing out from very short to longer much easier. I have a round face. I was a hairstylist years ago so I’m always going to want something fun and never afraid to try something new. The tools and styling instructions you provided was just what I needed to know. I love the style. It’s youthful and fun. Thank you again. I will refer to this often. Much love ❤️ Vicki

Gergana Mladenova: Gabi, Thanks a lot for this amazing technique for curling! I love it! <3

Rita Gold: So grateful for you and your channel. Thank you for the great tutorials! I actually was able to do this style after watching and I know I will get better with practice. I am 60 years old and I have Italian hair (which means a lot and wavy) so I have hope that I will appreciate it more with better styling technique.

michellybelly24: By far the most helpful Bob styling tutorial I have ever watched, and I've seen plenty! Thank you! ❤️

marlene kenalty: Love it I've been looking for this exact curl. Thanks for your videos. Have been binge watching your videos .

NefFy: Oh my God I never thought of it but that tip about your occipital bone in the back of your head is such a great rule! I haven’t tried it yet but I understand the problem and the logic behind you saying it and it just makes so much sense…. so thank you. I just discovered your channel so hello too!

abbie smith: Thank you, really great video, actually managed to achieve a look that was similar! X

Pravda God's child: Gabi, you are like my best friend on YouTube, honestly, your videos are so good. I have a bob, and it took me some time to learn how to do it your style, it definitely works better than the way I used to do it. I have some layers though, so some of my hair in the crown is shorter. Could you please do a video on haircuts for fine wavy hair that are thinner on the crown part and how to basically create an illusion of having mpre hair at the crown. Any root sprays that you could recommend ? Thank you so much in advance xox P.s. you mentioned a French bob in one of your video, it would be interesting to see how you cut french bob. Thanks again!

Mae Durant: Been trying to look up how to do this hair style for days because I’m having this cut next week finally found what I’m looking for!

Llany HF: I love that cut. It looks spectacular on you. Thank you very much for your advice and your videos. ✨

Ann Walters: The comment about blow drying and styling hair from the wet stage really stuck out for me! I have very curly wavy hair as well and I think this is the key despite hair stylists always telling you to rough dry first! So thank you for that! Great video!

sweetmother2406: Thank you! Having a baby in 3 weeks and looking for a new stylish bob that’ll be easier to keep up with than my long hair

Nadia ASMR Studios: This cut looks so cute on you! Curious, what does it look like when you leave it naturally curly? Or do you always style it this way?

I should be sleeping: You did a great job breaking it down and making it easy to understand and remember

Robbie M: I have been wondering how to get that relaxed looking curl. I’m going to have to watch the technique while I have my curling iron in my hand- thanks so much.

Nikki Maloney: Amazing technique using the irons, thanks for sharing

Happy Bunny: Love this thank you I did learn some new tricks x

Cara K: That technique with the curling iron is kind of tough! Love the modern looking end result. It’s fun to learn something new thanks for sharing. Will practice... :)

Amy C: You make this look so easy! Mine just does not turn out this way. When I blow dry my blunt Bob it tucks under like a . Any tips on how to stop this from happening?

Giselle Vanderlaan: Can you use a waver to wave the bottom as long as you don’t hold it on too long?

This Girl: You would've done really well as a teacher too. Great teaching manner!

Kerryann Bouska: I’m late to this video and I’m bummed because this is exactly what I have been looking for! Thank you so much!!!

Amy F: Wow, I love your hairstyle and your look! Thanks.

Matty: Thanks for sharing helpful tips. I'm going to try this. I just got the most boring haircut ever and I need to do something about it.

Tiz B: Stunning...LOVE your hair ❤️❤️❤️

Siobhan Broderick: At last a hair tutorial that is easy to follow.

Peggy Fisher: LOVE the video. And the cut. And the color. I have almost always been a version of blonde, but want to try something different. You have makeup on your face but the frame I took of the back of your neck looks like we have similar skin color. Is the skin color on the back of your neck enough to go by or do you have suggestions for other things I should look at to make such a (fun) drastic change in my coloring? My cut is already similar so that would be familiar. I just need to watch the video a thousand times to get the styling down. My natural hair color is an ash blonde. A dull gray green but really takes color nicely. To me, the novice, it looks like you have a chocolate brown under tones with golden blonde highlights. Maybe a suggestion for a clip is "How to pick a new color".

Tiffany Jerome: Do you recommend using any products for heat / damage control. I see just a finishing texture spray. I have fine thin hair. I just got the blunt cut bob & showed my hairstylist your video. Absolutely love it!!

Angela Millikin: You are a great teacher!!

Turra Gorman: Love it!

123 456: I cut my hair blunt.I saw my hair getting so damaged and even I went couple times to a hair dresser just to do a blowout....then watching another youtuber , she said this hair style is prone to damage the hair. No more blunt cut for me

Hello Hello: Gorgeous

Giulia Vasiliu: Binge watching every single video - you need a million subscribers stat!

Hamiltonville Farm: Loved the video!

Derrick Jennifer Watkins: Love the cut and color!

Antoniette Musolino: Looks so cool ♥️

Murielle Curcio: I love the curling iron technique but I need to watch it a few dozen more times to understand it. Please describe it for me using words.

musicom pro: We have same hair length and i really love those waves u did.. by the way whats your hair color?

julie: You are very good at this. Great makeup also.

Erin OKane: I love this!

Sia: You look amazing!

Memory Dandaroy: You look so beautiful Love love the way your hair looks.

Rachael Haines: that is the cutest haircut and I love your color too!

Vivian Hill: Thank you for all your wonderful ideas, tips and guidance. How can one get an appointment with you?

Sandra Williams: hi love that haircut and wave! how do i ask my hairdresser for it? so she under stands me!

Fiona Davis: U make that look so easy . Iv got burn all over my forehead

Vivian Hill: I have always had a lot of hair but each hair strand was thin. I am not in my early seventies and losing hair strands. Can this be medical or just heredity? I understand that the father’s side of the gene pool influences how your hair will age as you do. Is this true?

CYNTHIA MERZER: This is great! Looks like the same technique used by Chris Jones for styling only you stop and explain how to do the curling iron. Is he your hair dresser?

Giusi Giocasta: Hi Gabi.I write from Italy.Isaw this video.I've got thin hair ,what do you think about laser comb ?Does it work in your opinion ?

Clara Antonia Vieira: How thick is your curling iron?

julie: You are super so talented.

Amanda Lefebvre: beautiful hair but that revlon brush needs an easy cleaning asap … rat tail comb and any brush or comb cleaner as long as device is not plugged in or on obv

Peace and Love UK: Do you have a video on your hair colour that I can show my stylist please

Pooja: I never saw Any of your video ..just your face and charm attracts me ..i just wanna support you ...i just subscribed you ..god bless for your future Love from India

Yvonne Yetman: I watched a video recently on I think Tarantula The brush actually was desgined to give you those beach waves Very light and wispy looking I cannot find it I am wondering if it is European

Andrea oldfield: Like it thanks

JP: BABE. Never a truer word spoken/worn on a top!

Viale Viale: If I attempt this.. My hair is gonna fall flat straight again after 3 min...

Jill Davis: I can’t follow what you are doing with the curling iron when you start twisting and pulling the curl down. Could you do another video with this in much slower motion?

Diana Herring: Love your videos! Just popped up for me today and at right time! God is mysterious in helping ourselves when needed! (I don’t like cursing words like “bitch”… not needed imo) Anyway, thank you for educating me on my 65 yo starting to gray, fine, limp, mousey Brown, very thin hair!! I have oval face shape & it’s hard to pick cuts as I age & lose more hair. What do you use for best shampoo & conditioner, hair sprays, gels or mouse or whatever we need to use to keep our hair & make it healthy, not flat all the time. I’m looking into the French Girl Bob but scared to do it yet. It’s already a blunt cut even cut to my chin but think I need a bit longer so can pull it back too. Thanks for any suggestions Gabi!

Vivian Hill: How to find a hair stylist who can cut your hair well? Is it a referral or take a chance with a stylist and talk with him or her?

Kristina D.: Too complicated..no way i can achive this

TJ Sims: Just watched a couple of your videos... Questions: 1. On the blunt cut from a previous video... Did you say let it SLIGHTLY angle or not??...I don't like the really angled look.. 2. What was it about the occipital bone and the hair 3. How do you get a stylist to follow these " rules" for this blunt look...like you said to cut the back underneath slightly shorter than the layer above it...?? Thanks

JIK: Prayer request here ! Jesus saves in the fact He died to take our punishment! But now He lives because God the Father raised Him from the dead in the Holy Spirit! He will come back but is waiting, with arms open, come to Him.

Debby Leiper: Too many tools needed

Kathleen H.: Are you in Canada?
