Hi everyone, my name, is Chloe Brown and welcome back today. I'M going to show you guys how to get this undone toss old beach wave texture look! So, let's get right into the tutorial! I am going to section off my hair, starting from the bottom. I'M going to take a one-inch, curling iron and we are going to do a very loose beachy wave today. I know that beachy waves are sometimes hard to accomplish on shorter hair, just because the hair is super short and it's hard to manage, but I hope that these tips and tricks help you figure out how to style your short hair at home. This bottom section, I'm just gon na curl, back forth, back forth so facing towards the back and then forwards just to add some movement down there. These curls don't have to be perfect right. I like to run my finger through these just a little bit to make sure that they're not too curly the next section. We'Re gon na do the same thing so for the first piece of hair, that is framing your face. You'Re going to angle your curling iron, pull it out and then continue curling down that way. It still gives you that curl, but it doesn't push out, and mostly it just come straight down this next one. We are going to curl towards the face, let out and then slowly bring it down continuing to roll the barrel as we cur. We are gon na do the same thing with this section, curling away from our face, holding that just for a second releasing and then turning the barrel and slowly moving it out towards our face. Hold that just for a second release. You want to make sure that you keep the pattern of going away from your face and then towards your face all the way around your head. Okay, now we're moving on to the last section of hair, as you can tell, my hair is parted down the middle. Today I have a slight asymmetrical bob, not super crazy. So I can pull this off sometimes aim and just like put a little piece behind my ear. So we're gon na do the same thing finishing off, making sure that these curls stay pretty close to the root and then releasing and pulling straight down. Okay, now that we are at this stage and everything looks kind of silly, I'm gon na take light hold hairspray, but I want to make sure that these curls last so I'm gon na just spritz just a little bit and then we'll let it dry. Okay. Now, once this is settled in and dry and not wet from the hairspray anymore, we are going to shake out these roots. Just with your fingers, and I like to just pick up some hair and then brush it down. Okay, now that everything is kind of set in its place and exactly where I want it to go, I'm gon na take firm, hold hairspray and we are gon na. Do that same thing, just lifting up the hair, making sure that everything is separated, and here it is the final look so fun so bouncy and super in right now. I think that these waves are super fun to dress up or just wear every single day. This is one of my absolute favourite ways to wear my hair, and I love that you can do a middle part or a side part or a deep side. Part too and honestly, it doesn't matter, it works for all links of hair. So thank you guys. So much for watching this tutorial all right! Thank you! So much for watching bye,

T V: Finally a short hair tutorial with ACTUAL short hair. Super pretty and helpful thanks :)

Epicskyrose: Thank you SO much for this tutorial. I have been trying to create the perfect beachy look with my short hair and had NO idea you have to flip the curling iron to eliminate the "bump" in your hair. It made ALL the difference! xo

Ashley Rose Rochetto: You inspired me to cut my hair short and I’m absolutely loving it and I am so much more confident! Thank you for all of your amazing tutorials!

Sharon Dark: This is the tutorial I’ve needed! Now can I get a very, very slowed down, step by step tutorial on how you do that curl/flip/twist thing with the iron? Because I have watched, rewatched, rewound, and paused this video about a hundred times, and I’ll be doggoned if I can duplicate what you’re doing.

chrisinedison: OMGosh I absolutely LOVE this tutorial I’ve never seen this technique of curling then twisting it down like that. You’re a genius! I’ve got the same bob you have except it’s a little shorter in the back. What a perfect idea for my Christmas party hair! I can’t wait to practice this tomorrow. You rock! I just subscribed to your channel now. God bless and Merry Christmas to you ☺️

Veronica Conner: I got my hair cut yesterday and my stylist used this same technique. So I watched your video a hundred times and I did it!!! Yay!!! Thanks for making this tutorial

Jill Holz: New to your channel! Love it! My bff and I were talking about our curly hair issues. She explained why her hair always looks so good! She curls it, what a concept to ladies with uneven curl! I watched your video & tried it out this morning. Worked perfect! As a 54 year old mother of 2, I feel slightly hip Will continue watching!

VirginiaStarlite: I just learned how to use a curling wand a year and a half ago, but I've had a hard time curling my hair after getting it cut shorter with layers. This is exactly what I needed so my hair doesn't poof out on the sides but still gets some wave!

Maybo Mui: Looks GREAT, Chloe!  Love that little twist/flip technique that you finish with. I have a similar haircut to you and have been looking for how to do simple waves as opposed to ringlets that are just shaken out.  Thank you!

Seventies Girl: Great video. My hair is the same length as yours and now I'm sure I can achieve the same tousled, beachy wave look thanks to you.

Carrie's Nest: Your hair always looks gorgeous! I love watching these videos!

how to bbg: Yes! I needed this technique! Love your tutorials!!

sherilynschneider: Thanks, Chloe - I didn’t know about this curling technique but I am sure going to give it a try. Thanks again.

Emma Gillett: I’m so bad at curling my short hair and this totally helped me!!! Thank you thank you!

Danette Collins: Just what I'm looking for. Thanks for the great tutorial!

Cindy Hickson: Thank you for quickly getting into your topic, speaking well and not droning on. Not only a great tutorial which I plan to try, but great delivery.

K and I: Love this! And my hair is finally this exact length!

Diona Green: Wow! I never would have thought that that beautiful look came from such an easy technique! At least, you made it look super easy. I've gotta try this look today! Thanks for teaching me something new!

Kathryn Joy: I’ve always wanted these kinds of curls and could never figure it out! I always made really big curls and curled all my hair in the same direction. Plus I held my hair in the curling irons instead of making quick curls. I can’t want to try this tomorrow!

Kaylin Bohon: I’ve never seen this technique before!!! Definitely going to try it!

Rara Avis: Interesting technique! I have a ton of hair and too much volume is definitely an issue for me when curling. Hope this is as easy, as you make it seem

Rachel Streletsky: I introduced you to my hair dresser as my girl crush. Thank you for the 360 of your haircut. My stylist nailed it and my husband loves it! And he typically dislikes my undercut.

Patty: Fast, simple and beautiful

Prongs_son13: Thanks for the short, quick tutorial!

*Lolo *: Wow you made this style so easy to do. I watched others and they are way more complicated and require a few different tools. Awesome

Deb Marrett: This is a very unique technique. I can't wait to try it!

Brit Moore: I literally just chopped 2 feet off my hair and got your hair cut. And I just love it. Subscribed to your channel to learn how to style it. This hair cut rox. I have a Noncurable blood cancer and go to chemo 3x MTH to stay alive. My hair was starting to fall out and had lots of breakage. So I I cut it short to ease into not having any hair eventually. Micki H: Love it so much I shared it with both my sisters :)

Stephanie Keith: Omg Chloe Brown your hair is so adorable any way you style it and you make it look so EASY!!! Love u !!!

Kiki Allez: Aha! I have shoulder length hair with slight layers. Seeing how you do the waves near the front part of the face to keep it from poufing helped me tremendously.

Ashlyn Lipinski: I’ve been waiting for these!! Thank you Chloe! do you think it’s possible to pull this off with a straightener?

Allison J.: @chloebrown for those of us with straight fine hair, what product would you recommend to get those curls to hold while working on each section. My curls tend to fall flat by the time i get to the last section. I hate products that feel sticky or crunchy. Also do you have a recommendation for a spray on heat protectant (dry finish so i can use it on day 2+ shampooed hair for restyling-I hope that question makes sense)?

JustJanet: That was quick and sweet! I’m still trying to think if I could curl and relapse like that! Haha! Practice makes perfect!!

Julie Begley: Love this! I do wish you could show the second step of twisting and pulling down in slow motion!

Thaty: wonderful. You make it seem so easy. I'll try to do the same.

Gracie Soto: This helped me soooo much! Thank you

amandamdazy: No matter how many times I try this step by step I end up with wild curly hair, even with pulling it off the curling iron like she does. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Everybody who has had success what heat setting are you using? I've tried warm, hot, middle-of-the road...I just don't know where I'm messing up.

natalieguidry12: Love it!

cth_vx: Something about the way you curl your hair is satisfying.

S C: You make it look so easy, I know I’ll bomb.

Madeline Madden: I actually blow-dry the curl into my hair with a round brush that has a metal barrel, and I do that flip twist thing. It gets dry and curled all in one.

Marilyn Hodgkinson: Love your hair. Just looks so georgeous. Xxxx

Dede Vaughn: My bangs are not as long as my sides. I'm watching this video to learn how to curl my hair like that because it always ends up frizzy comment but I never know what to do with my bangs! They are right at my cheekbones in length. Plus my hair is fairly thin and extremely fine. Does that texture hair work well with this type of curl?

Tia Tattoo: Very pretty ♥️

Princessvanec: I love this style. I recently cut my hair (crazy idea) now I am panicking because I am not good with short hair. Would be awesome if you say the name of the products you are using so I can buy exactly those. I clicked in the links but are not working.

anjelstrazca: How long does it take to do your hair like that?

Sohyun Lee: Finally someone told me how to do it right. Pull out the iron and pull it down. Thank u!

Maria Gibran: Oh girl Your hair color your hair cut and your wavy style really i liked them all
