Hey beauties what's up welcome back! This is a bit of a long video, so go ahead and grab your snacks get comfortable. I'M about to show you this entire process and me coloring my hair black, using the older place system showing you this breaking chill. She don't broke off something bad girl, my soap press and yes, my haircut. I cut my hair. So if you want to see how I got this sleek chic black Bob and all the craziness it took me to get here, just go ahead and stay tuned. So I was just over this ugly ashy red hair. Okay. I know a lot of y'all said that it didn't look that bad some of y'all actually liked it but girl. I did not like this color and oh, it was horrible. Looking to me it was dry. It was shedding - oh my god, my hand, was hurting so bad with this color. So I just decided I wanted to do black just to get it all even and shiny and healthy, looking so yeah. So for my hair, I use the camera of permanent color. I'M using one year, which is natural black, along with the 10 volume developer, so I decided to use olaplex with my color, which is basically like they claim insurance for your hair, because it is just a great tool and protecting your hair when you're coloring it - and I did just color my hair with the primary color and I'm going back again doing the permanent color, so I wanted to make sure my hair was fully protected and you know as protected as possible. So this is my first time using this on my hair. I have used it on my clients, but you know the first for me, but from what I have seen with working with all the Flex. It is absolutely amazing, like it does the damn thing. Okay, of course, it comes with the directions and stuff on the back he's supposed to put 3.7 MLS of the number one, the bond multiplier directly into your color. So what this is supposed to do is just basically help to protect and strengthen your bonds, while you're coloring your hair, because you know you are breaking some bonds when you doing any kind of chemical treatment, so a black permanent color is really easy. You don't have to worry about hot roots and nothing like that. Just put it all over your hair, it's gon na all process the same because it's all going dark. So just you know no certain way to put it on just making sure you put it on all the other hair. You definitely don't want it. No splotchy. So just take your time, part your hair section it off in fairly small sections, just to make sure it gets on all of the air thirty minutes later here is my color, and I just want to show y'all a little tip to getting that color off of Your hairline so just leave a little extra color at the ends and rub down on your hairline. Color removes color from the skin, so you don't have to worry about the stained hairline and while I look at that, no color remover, no alcohol and just make sure you have a little color left over and bam. So this is, after my rinse, only no shampoo. Yet because I am going and using the number two which you are not supposed to shampoo until after you do it in Java see I was feeling my hair. I was loving how dark it got, but I want to go ahead and talk to you all about this bond perfect. It is not a conditioning treatment, it is a bond Perfector, just like it says it is designed to link back those software hydrogen bonds after chemical services, basically repairing those bonds back together to help like with damage done to your hair, with the colouring process or anything. So yeah listen to the directions cuz. I did tell you me, like a certain amount, each balloon in here, but I went on in just loading my hair up with this stuff, which is I mean I can't say for sure. It'S the reason why I ran into you know this problem that joggle see towards the end of the video, but I would definitely say not to put a hold on your ear. So here I'm just going to show you out my shedding when my black hair is opposed to my shedding with my red hair, like girl, my hair, which it is so bad with this color, which is another reason like that. Breakage was happening the job but to see, but I just do want to say that with black hair darker hair colors, your cuticle is closed, so that equals less shedding less breakage and it's just more protected with darker colors. So guess what I fell asleep with this bonk effective, oh my hair fell asleep. I was, I was elated, here's my hair. I actually did not have a plastic cap ball. I just put it on for the time being when I woke up, but I'm gon na go ahead and shampoo condition. My hair with this Carol's Daughter, almond milk. I really like this stuff, lady, so here's my hair after I shampoo. I have the home regular conditioner on my hair and I'm also going in with the mask, which I love and I'm putting that on my hair as well. Hey y'all will see in just a few minutes. Y'All see that my hair just didn't feel right. Something was different. I was like with it like my hair, just felt it smelled weird. First of all, it smell like a like a relaxer, and it felt, oh, my god, just listen. My hair feels so B, so I shampoo my hair two more times wrong with the clarifying shampoo and another, with the Carol's Daughter again and here's my hair after I had that man sitting on my hair for hours and hours and it felt better, but it just Smelled weird, like I just it just the only way I can describe it, is that it's more like a relaxed, and I had been on my hair, which I was so confused about cuz it's like was it the bomb Perfector. Did I put too much on my hair? I know for a fact. I kept it on way too long, you're supposed to do five to ten minutes, but it just minor was just like I don't know. I definitely feel like that product, just like seeked deeper than it was supposed to, because I had left it on for way longer than I was supposed to, but moving forward here is the lead in combination I'm using one for moisture the other one for, like a Reconstructor, you know I'm trying to use all the reconstruction agents I can get with color in my hair for the second time and like less than a month so detangling, my hair, everything is like okay, you know like it's going. Alright, I'm using my Silverberg blow-dryer. I did get a new one, so I have the original attachment which I love cuz. They work so good. I got it from. Sadly job black friday was lit. It was like 23 dollars online, yes girl, but anyway I start to blow-dry my hair, and I just noticed it was like why like why? When you're dry and that's when I saw the breakage, I'm like okay, my hair turn broke off and yeah bro copy and that breakage was all like in the middle and like on the left side of my hair. And I'm not sure it's because I slept on that side and I had that stuff in my hair, but whatever I decided to switch out my leave-in, I use the pro vitamin leave-in conditioner by effigy and that made my hair so much softer. I do want to say that this leaving is just, I think, that's going on my staple list because they make my hair so freakin soft. So anyway, I just continue to blow dry my hair and did went out when everything is blow-dried. That'S where you can see everything - and I was just so - I was like what in the heck has happened to my hair. Like look at it, it was see-through all on the right side and in the middle I was so shook like what my hair was. Just literally just fine y'all saw, I just did a video with my natural hair routine. Under wigs, my blowout was fine. My blowout was healthy. I didn't have breakage like. I might need a little trim, but my hair was like totally fine, nice and full and then, as you can see, Wow like my hair, just totally broke off like really really bad. So I was sad. I was depressed, but I was like you know: I'm go ahead. I got ta cut it and fix it. So I can see you with my sub press, of course, using my silk look at that ponytail girl. I just couldn't stop looking at my hair, I'm using my fabulous nanoprobe, whatever flat irons, I had my just degree set to 14, and this is just when I knew it was bad to like. When the nape of my hair, I saw the neck of my hair. Cuz, normally that's like the longest part of my hair, but it was just short, broken off and girl. Look at that. But anyway, I'm gon na go ahead. Continue my self press and then I'll come back and show you guys highs. Looking at how we gon na get this cooked together, so I just decided to go for a bob cut, since most of that broken off here was like in the middle. So the easiest way to do a bob at home is put it in a ponytail, drag that ponytail down to where you you know, want it to be and cut it, and that is it girl. I lost the file, maybe two inches of hair, which really wasn't too bad and yeah. That is the Bob. I was really really really happy like as soon as I could that, like that's, why I don't even care about cutting like dead hair off. I just be like: yes, I get it off. My hair felt so much better. Obviously, it's looking better everything is healthy, like swingin girl. Yes, I was actually really happy that I ended up doing this cut, because I finally got rid of all my layers and I finally had a nice blunt cut. Yes, but lastly, I'm going to style my hair, I'm using a little bit more silk and using my hair or flat iron to give me some curls just to give me a little body, little balance, you know you know and really that is it. I really love love this Bobby. I think I'm gon na keep my hair in a bob cook for a while, because I just I'm feeling myself with this Bob okay, so something's up. If you enjoyed this video, I wish I could really pinpoint what caused my breakage, but I just feel like it was a combination, two things from that red color drying, my hair out from his olaplex treatment sitting in my hair overnight and not having a cap on. I don't really know what exactly it was, but end of the day. Strength over length like I said I love love my new haircut thumbs up. If you do, thank you guys so much for watching, and I will talk to y'all in another video. You

My hairdresser used this on my hair when I came out of braids; everytime Stops the shedding after braids, but the moisture treatment kept it from breaking/shedding! Last year, I added this treatment to my Clients I had forgotten about it due to new products that promised the same results Duh, this is the only protein, keratin treatment I use for clients Try it! If it ain’t broke; you know the rest! I have clients that had major damage from sew ins, relaxers, and aleopcia ; results Great

Hello, Autism I Love You: Because of you I tried the rubber band method to even out my hair in a blunt, all the way across, from left to right long bob and it came out BEAUTIFULLY!!!!! Jasmine Williams: @TierraJBeauty I Loved the video! You always keep everything honest and real. Your situation with that over night breakage reminded me of when I went swimming and didnt wash my hair and the next day my hair was matted, dry and broke off after I did wash it. You could tell the difference when you came back saying you slept on it. But as always you come back with a beautifully done slay. I know your hairstylist is going to get you for that lol

MsLOLA K.: Ok, I gotta eat my words now, loving the Black hair, it's so shiny, healthy & bouncy and letting the ponytail loose - that part - was simply magical!

Nicole Hammond: I've left oleplex 1, 2, and 3, on my hair longer that I'm supposed to, yet have never have had it smell bad, break, or feel dry. Sorry that that happened to you!

Keeks It Well: OMGosh!!!!! Your hair came out BEAUTIFULLY! Sorry about the breakage maybe it was the Olaplex in too long but man was it worth that bob look YESSSS!!! ❤️

Kaze Kreationz: I’m a new subscriber and I love how real you are. I love watching your straightening videos

Ashley Ross: Tierra, I am at that point in my natural life of cutting my hair. It's just not the same and it's DEFINITELY time for a change. By you even showing the real you just freaking love it

Charmaine Hunter: Your hair has so much body!! It is gorgeous!!!! That cut was on point! You did a great job!

Virginia C.: I love when people aren't afraid to just chop some off. IT'S HAIR! It'll grow back (in most cases). Great job.

It's_ MsAlma: Yes girl, you be slaying that hair I wish I was that good at doing my own hair. I would save so much money.

Dante Velasquez: Ay. Olaplex 2 and 3 also have protein in them so it might have been that. Olaplex 2 is concentrated so it is possible that leaving it on overnight is what caused the breakage on already fragile pre-colored parts. I love the black though. Darker colors are so rich. And black hair is in a class of its own.

Ashley B: Baby your hair is beautiful! Looks super healthy and the cut and style is on point❤

Tiffany Stroy: I remember looking at one of your videos & saying to myself that I liked darker colors on you better. That black is everything!!! Love the Bob. I would've mourned for my strands girl lol, but you didn't blink twice. Love your realness!

Dana Nuppenau: You did a great job! We (stylists) all have those moments. I use olaplex all of the time as well. I’m wondering if maybe you didn’t rinse all of the color out all of the way, and then keeping it on the “extended time” might have done the damage. I wish I could have been there to do your hair for you...I know as stylists we want our hair done right now.......believe me I get it xxoo

dominique dozier: Yess girrl!!!!!! You did that!!!!!!!!!! I would love for my hair to bounce like that when I press it out. Encouraging thank you soo much

S Mac: This bob looks so stunning girl❤️

Cara Downey: wow... I am so glad I stumbled on your channel... not to many youtubers would be up front and personal like you about hair damage and what's needed to do to prevent it and move forward. l've been doing a lot of research and looking at a lot of different videos and I have to say, your channel is the most realist I've seen. I am not a big fan of the wash and go style and as a result I was putting my back in sleek buns... and when I went to the salon this past weekend to get a treatment and get my ends professional trimmed, its there the stylist noticed some breakage and damage. I lost an inch of my hair and I realized, I need to do what's best for me and stop trying to adopt to the hair trends. I don't have to slick press my hair out every two-four weeks... but I now know there are different options e.g. heatless curls for one. Pardon the rant and thanks for positing.

Samantha InGold: You inspired me to silk press my hair, I’ve watched your videos so many times and actually did mine and it came out awesome! I just posted the video on my channel. ❤️❤️

Chanel Graham: Proof: Breakage happens to the best of them. You're not alone. Just take care of your hair the best you can.

Theofficial. Kam: Wow, it looks like you went to the Salon. Beautiful, natural, healthy, shinny, and thick hair. My hair goal for 2019.

Nicole Pandora: I love it!!! Looks so healthy ♥️

Ms. Sharpe: I swear!!! We never wanna cut our hair but it ALWAYS ends up looking 10x better than before

Marjorie Coleman: I'm sorry you had all that breakage. I would've been upset too but you fixed it right away. Thanks for always being transparent! Everything doesn't always have to be perfect and I like that about you.

Inspire Strength: Thank you for the color removal tip. hair looks amazing xoxo

Felicia Dunn: I hate setbacks! But your hair looks amazing. The color looks beautiful!

What's in a Lifestyle: I sleep with Olaplex No 2 in my hair at least twice a month. Thankfully I have never run into this problem. Your hair turned out so great! Love your videos as always.

Lee Lee Rocks: That came out really pretty❤ I love when u do your natural hair it always look nice

iamShamika: I went through the same thing with red color before. It made my hair shed to the point where I had to dye it back black! Still looks good though T!!

Amber Cooke: Girl yeessssss!!! You did that! I love the cut. Strength over length

Dorothy Howard: I have been using the Creme of Nature Pure Honey and baby when I tell you it got my hair right. I use that and the Shea Moisture mask along with the Aphogee Karentin spray. My hair is soft and moisturized. I have relaxed hair and I'm lazy but for the last 2 months I have been on my game and my hair has grown a lot. I love your channel because you teach me things on how to keep up my hair so much love to you. Also I'm loving that bob

nia durant: Even though she had split ends her hair still looked very healthy

Worldtravel2013: This looked really good. Maybe you got breakage from the previous colour. I actually leave my Olaplex #2 in overnight and it doesn't cause damage. Loved how you gave yourself a neat haircut.

Minnie The Stylist: Sad to see the breakage, it was getting so long! It looks so healthy though and it will grow back in no time! You got me considering a good ole jet black. Lol!

TwistedNaturally: Okay!!!  Am I the only person who jumped when that broken glass sound broke out @8:55 ? Anyways, your hair came out lovely!  I just big chopped, again (boo hoo), in August.  I'd love to color my hair, I have a few early grays around the hairline (it's genetic) that are getting on my nerves and I am afraid of my frying my hair with coloring since I've never had it done.  So, if I may, I have a few questions?  #1 - Did dying your hair that red color and then covering it with the black color change the texture of your nature hair or is that some previous heat damage or both?  This is a concern for me since because I really want to cover the few grays but I don't want to cause my natural hair texture to change.  I already had to big chop because of irreversible damage and I don't want to do it again. #2 - Do you still do Keratin treatments and if so, what exactly are they good for and do you recommend only letting a professional do them? Thanks for any help!  P.S. Its 2am and I just binged watched about 15 - 20 of your earlier videos LOL!  Love it!

Mika: I get EXCITED when you upload! I ❤️your personality and that bob is BOMB on you! Keep up the good work!

All Things Mo: You do amazing work! Love your channel and personality, keep up the great work!

Tae Williams: It came out so cute! I woulda freaked out! I'm glad you showed a preview of the style before the video actually started. Some of these videos I think are worth watching and they be trash! I also like how you show that you had a set back and showed how you fixed it. I think our hair is the same length and thickness but I have multiple textures (so annoying). This gives me hope on my journey
