Hi guys Austin Thompson here, I'm going to show you a little haircut on this mannequin we're going to do a haircut. It'S a zero of tension through the back. Then we will drop it a little bit longer towards the front, really classic haircut. I'M also. You might also wonder why awareness can to keep your white top, but it's just saw that against duck here. You can see it. What we are looking to do is create something that's like easy to manage by the person who's going to be weird and all right, partake in here like this and stretching it, you can be stretching the scalp and if the hills get any movement which most of The time people it's here under there does have a better movement in it and it can make it a little bit awkward together finish. When we talk about zero tension, it's using the white teeth, there's the white teeth, yeah and the comb is not flat. It'S like horizontal, the pool here though, and then we establish your guideline all right and then we just build up their sections and top of that. Okay. Also. What I don't really like to do is put the head forward, because, if you put the head forward cut the line them and the head comes back up their carbon, the head throws that off and you end up with some weird bulge. We'Ve split the hair, though in the middle, some those got the section for the back. It'S on this angle here, if we're going to work parallel to that alright, so calm underneath the scissors underneath, I exercise check it in the middle yeah that looks good call so cold. I like this place over our finger, take care of any little. You know stragglers. Okay, because what you, what you have to get set up is that the hair is not fitting in this shape. The head has got carve on okay, so for zero tension here. Is that nicely? What you have to consider is from this rule point here. This here has to like draw and lie at the same light there. So you have to consider that gap alright to that, but you have to consider that gap when you do use your attention and that's what the zero tension doesn't. Stop should pinching this together, but again at the head, shape and yeah. So when the angle is like that, what this is doing is it's psychologically establishing what this length is going to be like here. So when we come down here, we know that everything is going to follow that line all right right. This works really well when we start going up hitting the hair line and really dealing with here lines of got movement and it, but because I want to do another, a few haircuts on this. I don't wan na go like too short, yet again same thing. Taking into consideration all of the angle there, it's going to become longer towards it from all right and that's your point of reference for visual reference. So here thank the guideline. You see that yeah so then focus our man. It'S focusing on our big nose. Okay, you can see this here. That'S got a real depth here, so we're not coming if you come here into the neckline. If you come here in the neckline like that's right, it's going to like puff out when it pops out it's going to have this. Oh, it's just going to be an awkwardness, especially if it hears good texture and then it just means it's like really hard to for the person who wears it to manage. Alright, it's the same down here: zero tension. We establish that natural curve that you want. My that's year because, ultimately, this is how we want this sheet to say we want it to fall naturally and tongue under. I would see for like a bob this length, so there you can see that naturally wants to like tone under yeah. So obviously we are all stuck in outhouse just now, so that can be a positive thing if we make it - and it's pushing me out my comfort zone to be working on a mannequin and front of a camera in front of a window where everyone that's walking By is having to look up because, obviously, through the day, it's fine, but now it's start to get a little bit darker. That'S light Wembley floodlit, so the room, that's born in the dark, all right, so the same length just applying like really gentle. What we're looking at here is a natural way that the hair falls and then we're putting the structure then so that this is easy for the owner of the hair. To be able to be lazy with people wander here. Look good with is less safe and that's possible. So that's why it's important that structure and discipline. Okay! For this last section, what we are going to do from this rule point on the head here is we're just going to elevate a little bit we're going to use a lot of attention for that, and that's just going to allow the hair to gently like paint Under for the bottom, which is naturally painted under anyway, because of that is your attention technique, but now, as we're getting up to the road there's not much coming off here, so we're going to do is rather than cut that here yeah we were just going to Elevate that a little bit like this, yes, we're still going to retain the weight through the throng, so you're elevating. So this is still coming straight from the head. It'S not following this curve. Okay, you can see that yeah nice elevate, that are when we pop a section in here. We have to be mindful of the angle we want to create. So there is the angle. This angle here will follow it through here and that will give us a really nice definition, so an extension of this. So what we will do, we would stand instead of standing here. We just like stand further around this way, so that would, over direct and towards ourselves, are still keeping a square shape in our arms yeah. A little tap in here because obviously have been shot and leaves in here before so with their shorter layers. Nothing is really coming off that better, so that is all right. The angle here is a reference point for angle here. Yeah angle, here is also a reference point, so we want a really nice line that follows a nice continual gradual length here. If this can be quite nice, because this should set on the shoulder, but the bet in front should just set the low the shoulder on this collarbone okay and a little check that we do and coolness on forward so that approach, zero tensions, longer ball bit accounts From like volume, and here, okay to further less, like Swale edge of the box, will äj -- swell ash comes with a sway lurch at the bottom right, and that just allows us to extend the shape. Keep a better line through this run is really classic. You know what's up quite needs a haircut, but the thing I'm sure and as the fact that we're working on the with a comb like this and zero tension can establish no line. That way, which can be a little bit tricky because it can be tempting to flatten it or calm the hair up side to side bring it down boom zero tension, great yeah, stay safe out there.
