One of the most frequently asked questions is: what kind of hair do you use now? That'S my dog moving. If you hear noise - and it's probably Evan in the background, but the hair that I used in the video is not the same hair that I still recommend today, the hair that I used in the video. I don't remember the brand, but the hair that I highly highly highly recommend is by the company expression in this expression: px P re SS IO, n I'll put a screenshot so that you can see it. This hair is like 30 inches long, but it is phenomenal, in my opinion, is the highest quality, synthetic hair that you can get to braid with, and it's the same hair that the lady who braids my hair she's been braiding, my hair for 10 or 12 years. It'S the same hair that she has been using since I've been wearing box braids. I love this company because when I was blonde I'll try to find a picture of that and put that in here too. But when I was blonde, my color was a 613. There was no problem for me to find the 613 match. My hair perfectly boom done beautiful. Now I am a number 1. Sometimes I may venture to be number 2 number 4 um either way the hair is phenomenal and it always looks nice this right here. This is the hair, hopefully you can see it, and this is cut in halves. It'S not even the full 30 inches and if I take it down, it comes probably to about down here, and we didn't even mean to make it that long. She just did cuz. She knows how I, like my hair, so what I really love about this hair, though, is not only that the ends stay looking nice for a long time, but I had ventured out once and I saw this hair, I was actually Amy's daughter who is gorgeous by The way anyway, Amy's daughter, was rocking this hairstyle, where she had the same kind of hair, and it was almost like micro braids, but they were kind of medium sized like box braids, and she stopped the braids like. Maybe that much and the rest was just loose. But instead of having the hair straight, she braided it. She dipped it in the hot water and it came out and it was gorgeous. I will try to find a picture of that, but I don't know if I can find that picture. If I cannot post it here, I may even get my hair done like that next, because it was just so cute, but those are the type of the types of things that you can do with that hair, it's phenomenal. So that is the hair that I highly recommend for box braids, okay, now to update you on. What'S going on with wait, so many of you have reached out and said you're joining me. You said encouraging words that was a weird mood. Is it encouraging words and said that you don't you're joining me, and I think that is so amazing I am so excited to be on this journey, but what excites me more is that it excites you and that we're doing it together. That is awesome. I have an accountability partner in Ricci and the kids, but to have you also, as an accountability partner is icing on the cake. So I am super duper excited now. One of the things that I'm going to be doing is on Fridays. I am going to be weighing in now. We all know that the scale really doesn't mean anything, it's the inches that you lose, but for me just to keep myself accountable. I do like to weigh myself. A lot of people will tell you that it's unhealthy to do that. I get it, but I'm going to weigh myself so I'm going to post the weight so that you can see the progress as well. I am NOT saying for you to do the same thing. You do what you want and whatever keeps you accountable, but that is what one of the things I'm going to be doing and posting it. I did miss the gym today. I actually got really sick last night and didn't like going so. I was up really late and got up late this morning, which brings me to my next point when losing weight, and this is something that I learned from my husband. One of the most important things that you can do for your body is to get rest. I am the number one person that is guilty of not getting a full seven to eight hours of sleep, I'll get four hours I'll get three hours I'll get five hours. Let'S be real, that's one of my downfalls, but it's one of the most important things because your body has to recover, and I remember years ago him sharing an article with me that said sleep deprivation for up to two weeks, when you have sleep deprivation for up To two weeks, your body begins to go into a pre-diabetic State which would explain a lot with the water of the waterway that I'm holding on to in the weight in general. My circadian rhythm is jacked up. So one of the things that I'm doing - and I know we're all guilty of is when we go to bed, we don't really go fix, we got a phone in our face or something is is happening with the TV and all of that stuff. So one of the things that I'm doing before I go to bed is, I am sleeping with my phone in a whole nother area, it's a whole nother room, so I don't get up and grab it and respond to anything or anything like that. That is the time I am supposed to go to sleep some. I watch a movie with Ricky or watch a show or something and fall asleep. So that is another important tip to weight. Loss is getting your sleep, so that's my update. I just got done. Recording um the size of success, audio seminar for my million-dollar stylist, mastermind um Club, and it was awesome - we talked about our I talked about the importance of having violent face. It is very important, in fact, one of the movies we love to go watch movies. So we just went and watched hacksaw bridge. That story is the epitome of having violent faith when someone has a dream and they have a vision and they have faith, because we all know that that vision that you have that's just this great vision didn't come to. You by mistake right so one of the most important things you have to do is have faith that it's going to happen, have faith that no matter what you're going to get it done in a big mistake that a lot of people make. Is they get this vision and they get this big idea and then want to go? Tell 14 people in order to tell this person and that person in that person and then what happens? Is those people who you've told now you just open up the door for that negativity to come in and in? I actually wrote a blog, no yeah, a blog post about this, and I I quoted one of my favorite scriptures in the Bible and it comes from. Second Corinthians chapter 10, when believers verse 5 and it talks about how we have to honor God, even with our thoughts. So when that negativity comes in and we start to believe those negative thoughts and then before you know it that vision that he gave us is gone because somebody else brought their little two cents in, because we opened up the door and was telling everybody everything. So anyway, I go really deep on that on that audio, and it was something that I literally put on my heart after watching that movie. So I was really excited to do that and I am getting ready to start filming one of our brand-new products tomorrow and today I am Ricky actually had an idea for something else brand-new, so we're always working we're always working on new things, and I'm super duper Excited - and I should just say a lot, but that is the update thanks guys so much for tuning in and I'll talk to you soon.
