Elsa'S Braid Hair Tutorial From Frozen

I talk about them in detail in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaPVEww...

In this hair tutorial I'll show you step by step how to recreate beautiful voluminous french braid that Elsa's wearing in Frozen. It works best on long and thick hair, but even if your hair is thin and medium long (like mine), you can add clip-in hair extensions for instant length and volume.

Hi guys today, we'll be recreating beautiful braids. That Elsa was very thin, frozen on one hand, it's just a regular French braid, but on the other hands there a couple of things. Let'S make a difference at glamorous, the animator has gifted Elsa with supernatural thick hair. It is like 20 times thicker than mine and has plenty of volume so to somehow make up for this injustice I'll turn to my hair curlers I'll roll, my hair section by section away from my face, which is going to give that extra lift to my roots And make my hair appear much thicker than what it really is. It will also give a delicate wave to my super straight hair. If your hair has a lot of natural volume, you could skip this step, but back to my curlers, these are hot rollers that are going to curl my hair in about ten minutes, but you could get similar results with any rollers of a similar size. For example, you could apply velcro rollers onto slightly dampened hair and then either drive, naturally or with a hairdryer for another ten minutes, or you could quickly heat up your strand with a curling iron for a marrow and secure it with a hair pin for 10 to 20 minutes it's a little players that will want to volumize. The bottom ones will be braided, as you can tell my hair isn't on listing, but also way too short for a beautiful French braid clip in hair extensions are going to give it that extra length, I'll search from attaching the smaller two clip webs from glammed time. Extensions for the effects of highlights I'm using dark and platinum blonde wet attached, one on top of the other, so that they give maximal volume and take as little room as possible at the back of my head I'll, secure three clips webs right above them and I'll Totally skip the rightest for clip waves, which would be difficult to hide in the grade if your hair is naturally long and thick. Of course, you don't need any extensions to recreate this hairstyle after we remove the curlers. My hair immediately appears much ruler, but to get an even more dramatic and long-lasting result. I'Ll tease it section by section, starting from the back of my head and spray it with some hairspray. This tip is actually more important than pre curling, your hair. So if you'd like to skip one step, I recommend that you stick to the teasing part so without the surface and grab your top layers, if you're using the extensions leave some hair above them, so that they're covered now split this hair into three equal strands and Start placing the outer strands over the middle one to create a French braid will be adding extra hair from the sides so to replace the right strand over the middle strand. Grab some hair from the right and add it to the middle strand, place the left strand in the middle and set some hair from the left to the middle strand. One thing that makes else as great different and glamorous is that it doesn't start right above her forehead but lower it down at the back of her head, so make sure to start braiding no higher than the level of your temples. Once there is no more hair left to add braid your hair till the ends and secure it with a small elastic, you can make your braid appear even cooler tag it on its sides. After that you're pretty much done. It'S really up to you how to style. The front sections of your hair, depending on whether you have a fringe or shorter layers, I don't have a fringe to copy Elsa's hairstyle exactly, and I personally prefer to leave a couple of strands to just frame my face. Another option would be to direct them away from the face and secure with a generous amount of hairspray. Let me know which version do you prefer and how would you wear this hairstyle yourself? If you enjoyed this video, give it a thumbs up and feel free to join me on my social networks. I see in my next video bye,

L. Bailey: Fabulous video thank you I know how to French braid I will try this on my granddaughter

L. Bailey: Fabulous video thank you I know how to French braid I will try this on my granddaughter

Marie Pettersson Hall: I have seen so many video tutorials on how to do Elsas braid, and I noticed that everyone stars the braid high up on the head, and I was thinking; Elsas braid don't start that high up. And finally I found your video and you noticed that too. You braid looks so much more like Elsas, even if it's not as thick a hers. The other videos I've seen was girls with thick hair and made the braid really thick. But yours still looks a lot more like Elsas than theirs did. Probably couse you didnt start it so high up on the head.  Im gonna save this video so i can show it for the ones that gonna do it on me on my wedding day when I get married, couse thats how I'm gonna wear my hair ;)

Marta Menezes: Cute and feminin hairstyle. Great for spring/summer. I loved. Xx from Brazil

Yazmin Lara: Love it <3

Ra Fi: Great job. Very beautiful. And suits you very well.

Emily Raquel: How do you keep your short natural hair from poking out of the braid? My layers always poke out so I can't do braids. Any tips?

TotallyTyra: Beautiful results! Do you have any plans to grow your own hair longer?

aliviaftw: do this for my hair for prom please ugh so beautiful

Marisa: I can never do anything too extensive on my hair... I just can't get the hang of doing things like braiding or sectioning hair correctly on the back of my head without being able to see. Even if I use mirrors to see the back, it's very awkward and my fingers are clumsy every time I try. Did it take you a long time to get used to creating these looks on yourself, or did it come easily for you?

JAEKpop: oh this looks so lovely!!

shirleyfelicio: Lindo!!

Raíssa Castelo: So perfect!

THANKS

MixStyleCappuccino: Здорово и так просто :) спасибо!

JennieCandyKitty: I love it! It's so perfect, very nice job! ^_^ I hate having black hair, braids don't look as good with black hair. :/ Lol.

tachibanababe: Gorgeous hair color!!!

123leyang321: I think what happens that makes it nearly impossible to get an identical hairstyle to hers is: 1st, her hair is really thick, maybe even thicker than humanly possible, 2nd she has a lot of hair, her hair isn't only very voluminous, it's also extremely abundant, she probably has almost twice as much hair as the average woman, that's why her braid is so thick, and 3rd her bangs are cartoonish, so you can't really get them to look exactly like in the movie. She has super thick bangs, no human being has bangs like those, so... :/ But still, if you were to "extract" her from the movie and place her in the real world, with real hair, I'm sure her hair would look pretty much like this demonstration you showed. It's the closest one I've seen so far.

Alisha Bowers: This is the BEST Elsa braid tutorial I have seen using extensions.  I am doing this for my daughter for Halloween and had planned on adding extensions to her hair to make her hair thicker and longer as it is baby fine still!!  I had qualms over where to place the extensions for the greatest effect! Thanks so much!!!

Amanda Ingrid B. N.: So pretty! How long should your hair be for a french braid? :D -XoXo

Sarah Allison: Beautiful !!!!

Abby Simons: This video was very inspiring, and it will work great on my sister, but I hope that it will look fine if you don't tease it.
