Hey guys, this hair tutorial will show you how to create a carousel lace braid. This hairstyle is also called a spiral or winding lace braid because of the way the lace braid wraps around the hair going down. Either way, this braid is beautiful and super easy to do! I did a similar hairstyle on my sister last year but I decided to recreate this version on myself. Hope you like it. :)

Hey guys in this video, I'm going to show you how you can do this spiral - lace, braid hairstyle on yourself. So let's begin, although my hair is already long, I'm actually going to add some volume to do this braid. So here I'm using my belly me hair extensions in chocolate brown. Now the neat thing about Bellomy, hair extensions is that it comes with a tester strand. Now, for those of you who have ordered hair extensions before you know that once you open the package, you can't return anymore due to sanitary reasons. So it's good to have a test two strand to see that matches your hair, color and mine seems to match quite fine. So I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to open the package and break the seal. Bear in mind that when the seal is broken, you can no longer return the product so make sure it's a good match. If it isn't, you can always dye it yourself, because these clips and hair extensions are made from 100 % remy human hair. As you can see, these are clip in hair extensions, so they're very easy to use and they actually come with a total of ten West. But in this video I'm only going to use three because they're super thick first off I'm going to brush my hair and make sure it's tangle free. Next, I'm going to part my hair with my thumbs and clip the top half up since my restart black. You can see where I place the hair extensions. I actually like to put them about one centimeter away from my roots, because, if you put them too close, it kind of pulls on your hair and it hurts. Now I'm going to release my hair and clip in two more wets. If you have really thin hair, I highly recommend that you tease the area where you're going to click the extensions in because, if you don't, your hair extensions might slide off. During the day whenever I apply Hot Tools, I always use heat protectant still spray. This all over your hair and your hair extensions and wait for it to dry divide your hair in half, clip it up and bring the bottom layer forward. For this look, I want my hair to have a little bit of texture, so I'm going to use my Bellamy six and one curler to create some loose weight. Sense. Large curls tend to lose their shape fairly quickly, hold it in the palm of your hands until it cools off and then release it. I find that this technique helps your curls last a little bit longer. Now I don't want to bore you so just release your hair and curl your hair layer by layer until you get everything when you're done. You should have something that looks like this, and, if you like this, look you better freeze it with hairspray, because these curls will loosen up to start the lace braid. You want to pick up some hair at the top of your head and divide it into three equal sections: I'm going to label these strands, left middle and right. Take the right strand place it over the middle, then take the left strand place it over the middle again. Take the right strand place it over the middle, but this time pick up some hair on the left side. Add it to the left strand and cross it over the middle right pulls over the middle pick up from hair. Add it to the left place it over the middle continue this lace braid until you reach the area below your ear. When you reach the area below your ears, just continue the braid without picking up hair, still do a regular three strand braid. When your braid is about this long, you want to take it and place it behind your hair. Then you want to continue the lace braid. So just do exactly what we did earlier pick up some hair on the left. Add it to the left strand to place it over the middle then cross the right strand over pick up some hair. Add it to the left cross it over the middle then cross. The right strand over then pick up some hair. Add it to the left strand cross it over the middle then cross the right strand over the middle and continue now. One important thing is that when you braid your hair, you want to breathe it going down at an angle, because this will create the spiral when the lace parade passes. Your hair, you just want to continue it as a regular three strand, braid and just like before you're, going to take the braid place it behind your hair and start the lace braid again. So here I'm just going to create the lace. Braid add an angle: until I reach the tip of my hair, you can always incorporate all your hair into the lace braid, but I'm just going to leave some out and tie it off with an elastic band. So here's the final look of the spiral - lace braid with the Bellomy hair extensions in in collaboration with bellamy hair, will be given away three of these Bellamy's 61 curling irons, two three of my lucky viewers.
