Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so today I'm going to show you guys how I get this Dutch braid French braid boxer, braids Kim Kardashian inspired braids, whatever you guys want to call them. I just know them as cornrows, and I will show you how to get this look using clip in extensions. My clip in extensions are from luxe weave calm and I will definitely have a link below for you guys. So, honestly, I was just trying to look out with the clip and extensions, which is why I already have one side already done, but it came out pretty good, so I decided to do a tutorial on the other side. So I hope you guys enjoyed that and let's jump right into it. So I'm starting by brushing my hair - and you definitely want your hair to be tangle free for this tutorial and if you do know how to braid. This tutorial is going to be fairly easy for you, so I'm using a 5 clip piece of my clip and extension and I'm going to part my hair vertically um. This is where it gets tricky you just kind of wan na clip it in vertically. Usually you clip, it is awesome J like we all know, but for this tutorial we're clipping them in vertically. So on this side I use one of the five piece clip in extensions, and I also use one of the four clip in extensions and then the last one is, I believe, a three clip in piece now. You definitely want to leave some room like closer to your ear. That way, when you pull it up, you cannot see any of the like Westing part um, and you also want to leave some room like where the part is right in the middle. That way, you can kind of cover up and kind of camouflage. The clip three pieces is basically all you need for each side. I use the same amount of hair on the other side. That'S already done so now. What you want to do is, while the clippings are in your hair, you definitely want to brush through them really well and get all of the tangles out, because when I was doing my braids, which you will see in a little bit um, it got a little Bit tangling and it was not fun, then I'm just going to start braiding my hair going backwards, which is a cornrow braid and I'm not trying to focus on making it extra extra perfect. Just because I am going to like kind of like loosen it up and make it a little bit thicker at the end, so yeah you don't need to be really really neat at this point, then I just braid. It continue doing the same kind of braid. All the way down till the end, and once I get to basically all the way at the bottom, I'll use a little elastic band and I'll just tie the and I'll just tie that around the hair, just to kind of like prevent it from unraveling. And then you can my favorite part kind of slide the rubber band down a little bit that we have room to pull the hair and make the braid really thick. So yeah I'm just going to not in any specific way just kind of pull the hair out of the braid kinda just kind of loosen it up a little bit that make sense um just to you know, get it nice and thick just so. Our hair looks really big and full and luscious. One thing that I really hate is like a really really super thin braid. So that's why I drew this method. Then I use two bobby pins, just to kind of pin the hair down closer to my scalp. That way, does it move or you know it just stays in place all day, and here are my braised. I think your not great so if you guys enjoyed this video and want to see a lot more hair tutorials like this. Please give this video a thumbs up and don't forget to also subscribe to my channel, and I will see you guys very soon with a new video

Jennie Lin: Super cute! thanks for explaining that you need to put the extensions in vertically, coz I saw one girl do it horizontally. and I was wondering if the bands would show. I've never used them before, and so i needed all the tips and tricks I could get! your eyeliner looks so good too!

vannah j: Cornrows. Please don't change the name to accommodate people who don't want to learn the proper name. If they're trying to steal the style, the should at least have the decency to call them what they are. These are cornrows and always will be cornrows.

Braids Wig Queen: it's beautiful

D Roe1: SUPER cute!

Melissa Elvire: This is so cute!! Come do my hair lol

terricaaa turnerrr: I like how you used the clip ins ‼️

Dee G: how many and what length did you use??

Jewel Broussard: Oh god how does that not hurt like hell near your hairline...I've tried braiding with clip ins like this and it's just painful

Caute Gauldy: I ally like how u braided and you edges is on10, but the only thing I don't like is how BIG they look though

Where's the Lamb SAUCE!!: They are called cornrows. Not boxer braids. Also dutch braids are different from CORNROWS.

Candice: To set the record straight!! These are cornrows. Not dutch braids, dutch braids are similar to cornrows but not the same. In dutch braids you braid under the middle section. In cornrows you braid under the middle section, just like she did in this video. And boxer braids is just another name for cornrows. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CORNOWS AND DUTCH BRAIDS lol, I hope this helped people understand the differences.

Keke1980s: Oh lala...very nice!

Thefunalongtheway: Did she just discredit all black America and say Kim Kardashian braids? ‍♀️

Shay Taylor: I predict many thumbs downs for calling them "boxer braids."

Es Okkk: and Kim Kardashian dint make these people were wearing them before her so why name it after her ?

Jessica Sloan: a braid is a braid js

Divine efe-ogid: Not Kim inspired braids

Ashleigh Clarke: boxer braids uno

brii jacksonnn: cornrows babe

None N: CORNROWS
