Hey youtube: fam! You welcome to my channel if you're new here my name is flora and in this video i'm going to show you how i achieve this triangular braids on my daughter's 4c hair. So please stay tuned so, as usual, we're starting off with freshly washed hair and i'm going to begin by moisturizing the hair. I start by spritzing aloe juice on the hair, and then i use my whipped shea butter mix this one to apply on the hair um. I'M going to just apply it generally, but normally what is advisable is to do it in sections that way, you can do it more efficiently. You'Re sure that the hair the oil gets absorbed into the strands and that you know you're not neglecting any parts of the hair, but i was being lazy and i admit that so please, when you're, you know moisturizing your hair, try to do it in sections. I'M going to go a little bit faster here so that we don't waste so much time after i'm applying the shea butter i'm going to go in with this cloth oil to apply on the scalp and after i apply it all over the scalp. I'M going to massage the scalp to make sure that it penetrates and after that, we're going to begin parting, the hair. So in this video i'm going to really focus on how. I part how i do the parts, the triangular parts, because i know that i used to face uh i mean when i first started doing triangular parts. I used to really face a challenge, and so i'm hoping that this might help somebody who is also a little bit challenged when it comes to partying in triangular sections right. So that's really what we're going to focus on in this video, because i believe that breeding. I mean if you know how to do hair. You know how to braid okay, so please um as usual. Don'T forget to like the video and don't forget to subscribe to the channel and hit the notification bell so that you will be notified each time that i post videos all right. So after drawing a line across the head, you know from one side they call it ear to ear right. Then i do the parts and this is sort of how i go about it, i'm seeing my sections and then once i'm sure that they are almost the same size. I use my small clips and like pin them away, and then i go to the next section of hair, and i do it this way, because i find that, with a triangular braids, it's a little bit more challenging to get the parts just right. So i always just want to part the whole head before i begin breathing so that i don't have any unpleasant surprises at the end foreign. Okay, once we finish the most challenging part of this hairstyle, we begin braiding. This is actually going to go very fast because we already have our sections pre-parted and i'm not adding any extensions. So it's just the hair that i am going to braid down. The first thing that i do is comb down the section which is going to be easier now, because it's a smaller section and you would have noticed that before trying to part the hair, i didn't call it because i made a mess and when we washed the Hair, the previous night, i didn't comb it out, i just put it in a bun, and so it was very tangled - and you know moisturizing it with shea butter helped a little bit, but i didn't want to comb the hair unnecessarily and cause her pain. So it's now that i have these small sections that i'm actually combing the hair before we braid, and so i just apply a little bit of the ketu cream. Um i'll put the name in the description box. But it's a regular cantu cream that i always use in my videos. That'S what i'm using as a sort of styler and i'm just using it here or applying it down the length of the hair. And then i pat the hair into three and i break down. That'S it and um, of course, try not to braid too tight. I also have a very, very, very, very sensitive scalp, and so i'm always very conscious about doing. You know make sure that the braids are going too tight and when i'm done and i'm getting to the end of the braid, i'm going to put a rubber band there and then i'll twist the rest of the sections. So i don't usually break the hair. All the way down, because it makes it easier when you're taking it down. So i put the rubber band right there and then i twist the rest of the section down and then i'm going to put another rubber band at the base of the of the of the braid. Just i guess just for decoration. It'S not really. I mean it will not for any reason just to make the hair look colorful, because it's a pretty simple hairstyle. Okay also, another thing that helps when you are using these rubber bands is to dip them first in some oil before you use them as that helps to minimize breakage, even though you should try not to also wrap them too tight. So these rubber bands - i kind of wrap them just like maybe three times so they're, not tight and they're, probably going to fall off. But you know you don't want to make it too tight to the the point that it can cause breakage, so kind of be careful with that. Okay, oh the feeling, when you're getting to the end. Actually, this hairstyle took only about three hours and it's because of the partying. The party alone took more than two, i mean about two hours and you know it's because it's elaborate, you know trying to get the triangles to make sense, and i also made them small, which i kind of regret it, which is why, when i got to her Sister'S hair, i made the triangles bigger and it was still beautiful so next time i'm gon na make sure i don't do small triangles guys. So take a look at this simple back to school hairstyle. I hope you enjoyed watching the video. Don'T forget to give it a thumbs up and also subscribe to my channel. Thank you so much for watching bye,
