Hello, you guys, i thought i would do a video on how i style my hair. After i get out of the shower um. I typically wash my hair once a week because that's the beauty of extensions and i'll like do the full thing, like the blowout, the style everything day one and then i just let it fall looser each day and it's very low maintenance. Having extensions is the best that way, so i just washed my hair, i used a shampoo and conditioner and a purple shampoo, all of which may be launching soon and now i am going to style, so i'm using the drunk elephant, wild marula, tangle spray and i'm Just going to use that mids to ends you'd want to avoid any products like this specifically in the root of your hair, because it can make it greasy and also, if you do have extensions, you want to avoid it because it can loosen them. And then i am using the jay-z styles multi-use brush. This is metal bristles and it glides through wet hair, amazing um, and then i am going to blow-dry so blow drying. I usually like to rough dry like 80 and then i'll round brush, but each step i like to divide into sections just because i do have a lot of hair and it makes it a little bit easier. So i'm gon na clip it out of the way and rough dry to start. Okay, now that that section is about, like 80 rough dried, i'm going to take my boar bristle round brush, and i am going to use this to smooth out okay. Now i'm going to move on and do that to the next section. I usually do three different sections like bottom middle and top okay, so i dried the rest of my hair and i actually have an 18 inch. Extensions right now, which i have to say is way easier to dry than like 22 or 24 inch. So that's amazing, and now i am using two different hot tools. This is one of my favorite go-to styles, so i am doing our one-inch j-wave iron and i'm just taking small sections, as you can see right here and then, as i release, i'm kind of twisting the iron. This is going to give like a beachier appearance to the curl, and i usually do two of those you want to start up near the root and then slowly rotate down opening your iron just a little bit as you go and then leaving a little bit of The ends out and then i'm also using the jagger, which is our three barrel iron. This is the perfect iron to give you just like loose beachy waves, but i like to mix it in with curls just to give it like a little more texture and dimension. Um, so i'm just working my way down with that, leaving the ends out as well, not a ton of the ends, but just a little bit and then i'll. Do that same pattern, where i do two curls and then i'll do another jagger two curls another jagger and around my face i typically use the curling iron. What i love most about the jacker is that it's literally foolproof, like i know so many of my clients are like i don't know how to curl my own hair. The jagger is so easy to use. You can't mess it up. So if you just want to use that tool on its own, it totally works as well i'll insert a photo of my hair and what it looks like when i just do the jacker without the curling iron um. But if you want like a little less of a beachy wave like like, i feel like when i do the jagger it's like full on, like surfer hair, you know like looks like he just came to the came home from the beach and it's like really surfery. California, girl, peachy hair, i feel like this is a little like more beachy but polished if that makes sense so um. If you want that, look just the jagger. If you want a little bit of both, then you can do both okay, so i have done that to every layer, i'm using the unite texture spray and then i'm going to use the metal brush again just brush through everything. Okay, now i'm using the kevin murphy session spray just to set everything. I love that it's a flexible hold, but it does have a little hole that just doesn't make my hair super crunchy, then i'm using the unite second day finishing cream. I usually like to run this through my bang area, just to make sure everything's kind of staying into place. If i have any flyaways - and i usually run it through my ends, i feel like it just kind of gives my hair a little more grip within the style and then i'm going to be using a special little oil. That'S coming soon, we've been reformulating our rose, hair shine and it's perfect now, so that will be back in stock soon and then every time i use this in a video or on instagram. I get questions it's called flash moment and it is perfect for little flyaways or like baby hairs. So i usually just kind of like run that over where i need to. I get it on amazon, i'll link it in the description box below, but it is the best product ever and then i'll, usually just do a little more session spray and i'm good to go. So that is how i style my hair um. I don't love like super tight curls on myself. I think that they're really pretty and if i'm going to like an event or a special occasion, i'll do it. But i usually just like more like lived in, looks like this and the nice thing about extensions and having them in and if you're, using the right products and if they've been blended correctly, they can hold your style for days. So i'll, usually just touch up. A few pieces the next few days, and it can last me a while. So that's really nice. Let me know if you guys liked this video. If you would like to see more styles, i also use different sizes of iron, sometimes i'll just do like a sleek blowout and have it more straight um and if you guys would like to see stuff like that or even braids and fun little styles like that, Let me know, i think it's a fun little series to do so: um yeah. Thank you so much for watching this and i'll catch. You guys next time.
