#HowToBraidYourOwnHair #HowToBraidHair #EasyHairstyles

The first step is to split the hair into three equal sections. So now you have a left strand, a middle strand and a right strand then cross the left strand over and into the middle and grab the strand with your right index finger and thumb then cross. The right strand over and into the middle and grab the strand with your left index finger and thumb then cross the left strand over and into the middle now cross. The right strand over and into the middle again cross. The left strand over and into the middle. Then cross the right strand over and into the middle again cross the left strand over and into the middle and then cross the right strand over and into the middle. So when you can't reach further down your back, then bring all of the strands over to one hand and then bring the braid to the side of your head and then continue the braid until you reach the end of your hair. Normally, i would do this part in front of a mirror, so i can see if i have some hair poking out, but i didn't have a mirror in front of me. So i got a few pieces sticking out here and there, when you get to the end of your hair, then tie the braid off with an elastic and then you're done. The first step is to take a section of hair on the top of your head and then, if you need it, smooth it out with a brush or just your fingers when the hair is smooth, then take an elastic and tie the hair into a small ponytail And i would recommend stacking two elastics on top of each other, because if one of the elastic breaks then the braid will still be intact. I'M only using one elastic in this video and the top elastic broke right after i was done filming and there was no way to save the braid so definitely use two elastics then take a hair clip and clip the ponytail out of the way. Then take a new section of hair and then tie the hair into a ponytail and you want the ponytails to be around the same size, so i'm doing 4 ponytails in total. But you can do more or less then take down the other ponytail. So you now have a top ponytail and a bottom ponytail then split the top ponytail into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and clip it away with a hair clip then take a new section of hair and then tie it into a ponytail. But this time include the two halves from the other. Ponytail now take down the other ponytail, so you again have a top ponytail and a bottom ponytail then take the top ponytail and then split it into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and then clip it away with a hair clip again make a New ponytail, with the rest of the hair and again include the two halves from the other ponytail. Then let the top ponytail down again and now you're, going to pull in the sides of the hair to fan it out and give it that braid look and you can pull in the braid as much as you want. It depends on how you want the braid to look so for the rest of the braid you're, going to continue the same steps as before. Except you don't add new hair into the ponytails, so take the top ponytail and then split it into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and then clip it away. Then take the two halves and then tie them together with a small elastic. So before taking down the top ponytail, then pull in the sides of the hair to fan off the bubble of hair. You just created now split the top ponytail into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and then clip it away again. Just tie the two halves together and then pull in the sides of the hair to fan it out, and you can also fan out the hair after taking down the ponytail. That is up to you again you're, going to take down the other ponytail and then split the top ponytail into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and this time i didn't clip the hair away, which is also a way you can do it. But as you can see, it's more of a struggle to do it this way, and i would recommend clipping the hair out of the way so again just tie the two halves together and then pull in the sides of the hair to fan it out. When you can't reach further down your back, then pull the braid to one side and then continue the steps all the way to the end of the hair, and i had to do that in front of a mirror. So i could see what i was doing. So i did that off camera. So when you get to the end of the hair, then you will have two separate ends like you can see here, so just take an elastic and then tie them together. So you only have one end. The first step is to split your hair into two equal sections. I grab the right strand like this, and then you can grab the left strand with your thumb and index finger. That way, your left hand is free to work with and for the left strand. I hold it the exact same way, so my right hand is free, then hold the strands in your right hand and grab a small section of hair from the left strand. Then take the small section of hair and cross it over and add it to the right strand. Then hold the strands in your left hand and grab a small section of hair from the right strand. Then take the small section of hair and cross it over and add it to the left strand again. Hold all the strands in your right hand and grab a small section of hair from the lip strand. Then cross the new hair over and add it to the right strand, then take a small section of hair from the right strand and cross it over and add it to the left strand. And i try to keep the hair as tight as i can, because you can always loosen up the braid at the end. So i hold my hands as close to the braid, as i can to help that out again grab a small section of hair from the left strand and cross it over to the right strand. Then take a small section of hair from the right strand and cross. It over and add it to the left strand again grab a small section of hair from the left strand and cross it over and add it to the right strand. So now you just have to continue those steps until you can't reach further down your back uh. So when you can't reach further down your back, then pull the braid out to one side and continue the braid until you reach the end of the hair, and this step is easier to do in front of a mirror. So you can see if you miss any hair or if you have any hair sticking out when you're braiding on the side of your head, you can lock the hair into place by pinching the hair, with your thumb and index finger in the middle of the braid, Where the small sections crosses at the top, so when you get to the end of the hair, then take a small elastic and tie the braid off. So now you can pull in the sides of the hair to loosen up the braid and make it look like you want it to, but don't pull too much in the braid as it will loosen up throughout the day. If there's any small hair that you missed or there's some weird piece of hair in the wrong place, then pull them out and pin them up behind the braid to hide them. So the first step is to take a small section of hair on the top of your head and then split the hair into two equal sections then hold the left strand with your pinky and then grab the right strand in between your thumb and index. Finger then take a small piece of hair from the right strand and then cross it under and add it to the left strand. And i do that by grabbing the small strand of hair with my middle finger and then i add the hair to the left strand. When i move the hair over, to the other hand, so now hold the right strand with your pinky and then hold the left strand and the small piece of hair in between your thumb and index finger then take a small piece of hair from the left strand And cross it under and add it to the right strand and again i grab the small strand with my middle finger and then i add the hair to the right strand when i move the hair over to the other hand, and i'm going to do it. That way, all the way down the braid then take a small section from the right strand and cross it under and hold it with your middle finger then take a new section of hair on the right side and then cross it under and grab it with your Middle finger, so it's also being added to the left strand again. Take a small piece of hair from the left strand and then cross it under and hold it with your middle finger, then take a new section of hair on the left side and cross it under and grab it with your middle finger. So it's also being added to the right strand, then take a small piece of hair from the right strand and cross it under and grab it with your middle finger, then take some new hair on the same side and then cross the new hair under and add It to the left strand again take a small piece of hair from the left strand and then cross it under and grab it with your middle finger and then take some new hair from the left side and cross it under and add it to the right strand. Now take a small section from the right strand and cross it under and grab it with your middle finger, then take a new section of hair on the right side and then cross the new hair under and grab it with your middle finger and then add it To the left strand then take a small piece of hair from the left strand and then cross it under and grab it with your middle finger, then take a new section of hair on the same side and then cross it under and grab it with your middle Finger and then add it to the right strand, then take a small section from the right strand and cross it under and hold it with. Your middle finger then take a new section of hair on the right side and then cross it under and grab it with your middle finger. So it's also being added to the left strand again take a small piece of hair from the left strand and then cross. It under and hold it with your middle finger then take a new section of hair on the left side and cross it under and grab it with your middle finger, so it's also being added to the right strand. So that is all you have to do. So. Take a small section from the right strand, plus some new hair from the right side and then cross it under and add it to. The left strand then take a small section from the left strand, plus some new hair from the left side and then cross it under and add it to the right strand. So, as you can see, the fishtail pattern is starting to take form and the smaller sections you take, the more detailed the braid will be, but it does take quite a while to do so. If you don't want to have your arms up in the air. For that long then just take some bigger sections. So now i'm just going to speed up the rest of the braid a little bit until i reach the nape of my neck, so we can get to the next step foreign. So when there's no more hair, you can add into the braid, then keep doing a dutch fishtail braid in the rest of the hair. So just take a small section from the right strand and cross it under and add it to the left strand then take a small section from the left strand and cross it under and add it to the right strand. So when you can't reach further down your back, then pull the braid out to the side. You'Ll find it easiest to braid on and then finish the rest of the braid. So when you get to the end of the braid, then tie it off with an elastic and if you want, then you can pull in the sides of the braid to give it some more volume. So the first step is to split your hair into two sections down the back of your head and then clip one side up with a hair clip or whatever you have lying around then take your brush and brush your hair through. So there are no tangles, then take a small section of hair at the top and then split the hair into two equal sections. Then twist, both of the strands towards your face a couple of times then take the bottom strand and cross it over the top strand. So they switch places then hold both of the strands in one hand and then grab a new section of hair on the same side as the top strand then add the new hair to the top strand and then twist the strand a couple of times to twist. The new hair into the strand then do the same thing on the other side, so grab a new section of hair. Next to the bottom strand then add the new hair to the bottom strand and twist the strand a couple of times to twist the new hair into the strand then cross the bottom strand over the top strand. So they switch places again hold both of the strands in one hand and then grab a new section of hair next to the top strand, then take the new hair and add it to the top strand and then twist the strand a couple of times to twist. The new hair into the strand now take a new section of hair next to the bottom strand and then twist. The new hair into the bottom strand then take the bottom strand and cross it over the top strand. So they switch places again grab a new section of hair and then twist it into the top strand. Then take a new section of hair on the other side and then twist it into the bottom strand. Now take the bottom strand and cross it over the top strand again grab some new hair and then add it to the top strand and then twist. The hair together then take some new hair next to the bottom strand and then add the new hair to the bottom strand and then twist. The hair together now cross the bottom strand over the top strand again take a new section of hair and then add it to the top strand and then twist. The hair together then grab a new section of hair and then add it to the bottom strand and then twist. The hair together then take the bottom strand and then cross it over the top strand. So from now on, i'm going to call the top strand the left strand and the bottom strand. The right strand now take a new section of hair on the left side and then twist it into the left strand again: grab some new hair next to the right strand and then add the hair to the right strand and twist. The hair together then take the right strand and cross it over. The left strand then take a new section of hair on the left side and if there are some bumps in the hair, then just run your fingers through the hair. A couple of times to smooth it out then add the new hair to the left strand and twist. The hair together again grab some new hair and then add it to the right strand and then twist. The hair together again cross the right strand over the left. Strand now take a new section of hair on the left side and then twist it into the left strand again. Take some new hair next to the right strand and then add it to the right strand and twist. The hair together again take the right strand and cross it over. The left strand then take a new section of hair on the left side and add the hair to the left strand and then twist. The hair together again grab some new hair and then add it to the right strand and then twist. The hair together again cross the right strand over the left strand, now take a new section of hair on the left side and then twist it into the left strand again. Take a new section of hair on the right side and then twist it into the right strand. So when there's no more hair to add in then braid the rest of the hair, like a basic rope, braid so twist, both of the strands towards your face and then wrap them around each other in the other direction. So when you get to the end of the braid, then secure the braid with an elastic. So now just repeat everything on the other side, so you have two braids. The first step is to take a section of hair from your forehead to the back of your head, then split the hair into three equal sections, so you have a left strand, a middle strand and a right strand then take the right strand and cross it over And into the middle then take the left strand and cross it over and into the middle. Now move all of the strands over to your left hand, so you now have a free hand to work with. I hold the strands like this, so my pinky holds the left strand. Then my middle finger holds the middle strand and my thumb and index finger holds the right strand. So here is a slow replay of how i grab the strands with my left hand, so you can easier see how i did it now pick up a new section of hair on the right side and add it to the right strand so just slide the hair In between your thumb and index finger and that way, you have automatically added the new hair to the right strand, then cross the right strand over and into the middle, now move all of the strands over to your right hand, and this is how i hold the Strands so my pinky holds the right strand. My middle finger holds the middle strand and my thumb and index finger holds the lift strand then pick up a new section of hair on the left side and slide the hair in between your thumb and index. Finger. To add the hair to the left strand then cross the left strand over and into the middle then move all of the strands over to your left hand, holding the strands the exact same way as before then pick up some hair on the right side and add It to the right strand so again just slide the hair in between your thumb and index. Finger to add the hair then cross the right strand over and into the middle then move all of the strands over to your right hand, holding the strands the exact same way as you did before then pick up some hair on the left side and add it To the left strand so again just slide the hair in between your thumb and index. Finger to add the hair then cross the left strand over and into the middle then move all of the strands over to your left hand and then pick up a new section of hair on the right side, then add the hair to the right strand and then Cross the right strand over and into the middle now move all the strands over to your right hand and pick up some new hair on the left side and then add it to the left strand and make sure you got all the hair. So there's no small hair piece hanging then cross the left strand over and into the middle again pick up some hair on the right side and then add it to the right strand then cross the right strand over and into the middle. So when there's no more hair to add in then just braid the rest of the hair, like a basic three strand braid when you get to the end of the braid, then tie the braid off with an elastic and then you're done. So. The first step is to split your hair into two sections down the back of your head and then clip one side up with a hair clip or whatever you have lying around then take your brush and brush your hair through. So there is no tangles, then take a small section of hair at the top and then split the hair into two equal sections. The way i hold the strands are like this: i grab the bottom strand with my hand, so my pinky is holding the bottom strand and then i hold the top strand in between my thumb and index. Finger then take a small section of hair from the top strand and cross it under and add it to the bottom strand. And i do that by grabbing the small section from the top strand with my middle finger and then when you grab the top strand. With your other hand, you can just add the hair together in the bottom strand. Then do the same thing on the other side to hold the top strand with your pinky and the bottom strand, with your thumb and index finger then take a small section from the bottom strand and cross it under and add it to the top strand and just Like before, grab the small section from the bottom strand with your middle finger and then when you grab the bottom strand, with your other hand, you can just add the hair together in the top strand, again hold both of the strands. In your other hand, just like before and grab a small section of hair from the top strand and cross it under and hold it with your middle finger, then take a very small section of hair right next to the top strand and then cross that under and Hold it with your middle finger to add the hair into the braid then hold all of the strands in your other hand, and then take a very small section of hair from the bottom strand and cross it under and hold it with your middle finger. Then take a very small section of hair next to the bottom strand and then cross the new hair under and hold it with your middle finger to add the hair into the braid again hold both of the strands. Then take a very small section of hair next to the bottom strand and then cross the new hair under and hold it with your middle finger. To add the hair into the braid. Now take a small section of hair from the top strand and cross it under and add it to the bottom strand then grab a new section on the same side and cross it under and add it to the bottom strand then take a very small section of Hair from the bottom strand and cross it under and add it to the top strand, then take a new section of hair on the same side and cross it under and add it to the top strand. So that is all you have to do so. Take a small section from the top strand and then cross it under and add it to the bottom strand then take some new hair on the same side and then cross that under and add it to the bottom strand then take a very small section from the Bottom strand and then cross it under and add it to the top strand, then take some new hair on the same side and then cross the new hair under and add it to the top strand. So, for the first few centimeters of the braid, you might feel like you're doing something wrong because the braid is not really forming, but i promise it will. You just have to braid quite far down the hair before the dutch fishtail braid shows so now. Just repeat those steps all the way down until there is no more hair, you can add into the braid and i'm not going to repeat every single step all the way down, because these sections are so small that it would be such a long video. If i do that, so i'm just going to speed the video up a little bit to get to the end of the braid. My so when there's no more hair, you can add into the braid, then braid the rest of the hair like a reversed fishtail braid. So so, when you get to the end of the braid, then grab an elastic and secure the end of the braid. So the first thing you're going to do is to split your hair into two equal sections and it doesn't have to be perfect. So just do your best, then you're, going to twist the two strands to the right and i try to keep the hair as tight, as i can so twist. The hair a couple of times until it's nice and tight then cross the right strand over the left. Strand so they switch places again twist the two strands of hair, a couple of times to the right then cross the right strand over the left strand. So they switch places again, and that is all you have to do so again. Take the two strands and twist them a couple of times to the right, then take the right strand and cross it over the left strand again twist. The two strands of hair, a couple of times to the right, then take the right strand and cross it over the left strand. So when you can't reach further down your back, then pull the braid to one side and then continue braiding until you reach the end of the hair. So when you get to the end of the hair, then grab a small elastic and tie the braid off. If you have any small pieces of hair hanging loose that you have missed, then you can pin them up behind the braid and hide them there. The first step is to split your hair into two sections down the back of your head and i'm using a rat tail comb to part my hair with, and i will leave a link to all the tools i'm using in this video down below. Then i'm pulling all my hair forward on one side and then i'm checking to see how the part is looking in the back with a small mirror to see if i need to straighten anything up, but it looked just fine. So i just clipped the hair away with a hair. Clip then grab your hairbrush and brush your hair through. So there is no tangles, then take a small section of hair at the front and then split it into three equal sections and don't pull the hair down. Like this, when you're splitting the hair pull it in the direction, you want the braid to go. The way i hold the strands are like this. I hold the top strand in one hand, with my thumb and index finger, the middle strand, i always grab with my middle fingers and the bottom strand i hold. In my other hand, with my thumb and index, finger then cross the top strand under and into the middle and then grab it with your middle finger. So now the top strand and the middle strand has switched places then cross the bottom strand under and into the middle and then grab it with your other middle finger. So now the bottom strand and the middle strand has switched places. Now you have started the braid off so now we're going to start adding hair to the braid so again take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle and then grab it with your middle finger. So now you have to add hair to the strand you just placed in the middle, so i'm going to park the top strand under my ring finger just for a while, because that way you have a free hand to work with then pick up a new small Section of hair right next to the top strand and then add the hair to the middle strand, and you do that by simply grabbing the hair. You just picked up with your middle finger. That is also holding the middle strand. Then you're going to unpark the top strand that is under your ring finger and then bring it back over. To your other hand, then cross the bottom strand under and into the middle and then grab it with your middle finger then place the bottom strand under your ring finger and park it there just for a second while we add hair, then pick up a new small Section of hair right next to the bottom strand and then add the hair to the middle strand. So again just grab the new hair with your middle finger and then it's automatically added to the middle strand then bring the bottom strand back over. To the other hand, again cross the top strand under and into the middle and grab it with your middle finger then place the top strand under your ring finger. So it's out of your way, then pick up a new section of hair next to the top strand and then cross it under and grab it with your middle finger. To add it to the middle strand then bring the top strand back over. To your other hand, again cross the bottom strand under and into the middle and then grab it with your middle finger then place the bottom strand under your ring finger then pick up a new section of hair next to the bottom strand and then cross the new Hair under and grab it with your middle finger, to add it to the middle strand, then bring the bottom strand back over. To your other hand, again cross the top strand under and into the middle then pick up a new section of hair right next to the top strand, then you're going to add the new hair to the middle strand, so just grab it with your middle finger. Then cross the bottom strand under and into the middle then pick up a new section of hair right next to the bottom strand then add the new hair to the middle strand, so just grab it with your middle finger to add it again, take the top strand And cross it under and into the middle then pick up a new section of hair right next to the top strand, then add the new hair to the middle strand so just cross it under and grab it with your middle finger then cross the bottom strand under And into the middle then grab a new section of hair next to the bottom strand then cross the new hair under and add it to the middle strand again. Take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle then grab a new section of hair. Next, to the top strand, then cross the new hair under and add it to the middle strand again. Take the bottom strand and cross it under and into the middle then grab a new section of hair on the same side and cross the new hair under and add it to the middle strand, then take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle. Then pick up a new section of hair next to the top strand and then cross the new hair under and add it to the middle strand. Then cross the bottom strand under and into the middle again grab a new section of hair on the same side and cross it under and add it to the middle strand again. Take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle then grab a new section of hair on the same side and then cross it under and add it to the middle strand then cross. The bottom strand, under and into the middle then grab a new section of hair on the same side and then cross it under and add it to the middle strand again. Take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle then grab a new section of hair on the same side and then cross it under and add it to the middle strand again cross. The bottom strand, under and into the middle then grab a new section of hair next to the bottom strand and then cross the new hair under and add it to the middle strand again. Take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle then grab a new section of hair next to the top strand and cross it under and add it to the middle strand again cross the bottom strand under and into the middle again grab a new Section of hair next to the bottom strand and cross it under and add it to the middle strand, then take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle again grab a new section of hair next to the top strand and then cross it under And add it to the middle strand, then take the bottom strand and cross it under and into the middle again pick up a new section of hair next to the bottom strand and cross it under and then add it to the middle strand. Then take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle again grab a new section of hair on the same side and then cross it under and add it to the middle strand. Then take the bottom strand and cross it under and into the middle. Then grab a new section of hair on the same side and then cross it under and add it to the middle strand. Then take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle again grab a new section of hair on the same side and then cross it under and add it to the middle strand. Then take the bottom strand and cross it under and into the middle. Then grab a new section of hair on the same side and add it to the middle strand, then take the top strand and cross it under and into the middle again pick up a new section of hair next to the top strand and then cross it under And add it to the middle strand, when there is no more hair, you can add into the braid, then braid the rest of the hair, like a basic braid. When you get to the end of the hair, then grab a small elastic and tie the braid off, and i will leave a link to the elastics. I'M using down below. The first step is to take a section of hair on the top of your head. Then split the hair into two equal sections. The way i hold the strands are like this: i hold the right strand with my pinky and the left strand with my thumb and index finger and when i switch hands i hold the left strand with my pinky and the right strand with my thumb and index Finger then lift up the hair and then take a small section of hair under the right strand and then bring it out to the right side, and this is going to be your wrapping strand, then bring it under the right strand and then over the left strand. So it has switched side and when i'm moving around the wrapping strand, then i always grab it with my middle finger, then bring the wrapping strand under the left strand and then over the right strand and then hold the wrapping strand with your middle finger. Then take a new small section of hair on the right side and then add it to the wrapping strand so just slide the hair under the middle finger to automatically add the hair then bring the wrapping strand under the right strand and then over the left strand To the other side and then hold it with your middle finger, then take a small section of hair on the left side and then add it to the wrapping strand so again just slide the hair under the middle finger. To automatically add the hair again bring the wrapping strand under the left strand and then over the right strand and then hold it with your middle finger. Now take a small section of hair on the right side and then add it to the wrapping strand so again slide the hair under the middle finger to easily add the hair, then bring the wrapping strand under the right strand and then over the left strand to The other side and then hold it with your middle finger again you're going to add some new hair, so take a small section of hair on the left side and then add it to the wrapping strand then bring the wrapping strand under the left strand and then Over the right strand to the other side and then hold it with your middle finger, then take a new small section of hair on the right side and then add it to the wrapping strand. So just slide the hair under the middle finger. To automatically add the hair, then bring the wrapping strand under the right strand and then over the left strand and then hold it with your middle finger, then take a small section of hair on the left side and then add it to the wrapping strand. So again just slide the hair under the middle finger to automatically add the hair again bring the wrapping strand under the left strand and then over the right strand and then hold it with your middle finger again, take a new section of hair on the right side And then add it to the wrapping strand then bring the wrapping strand under and then over. So it gets over to the other side. Then take some new hair on the left side and then add it into the wrapping strand again take the wrapping strand and bring it under the left strand and then over the right strand. So now continue those steps. Until there is no more hair, you can add into the braid, so take a new section of hair and then add it to the wrapping strand and then bring it under and over to the other side, then add some new hair from the same side and then Bring the wrapping strand under and then over. So all you do is bringing the wrapping strand around in a figure eight shape and then adding hair to the wrapping strand on each side of the braid. So i'm just going to speed up the rest of the braid. So we can get to the next step. So when there's no more hair to add in then you have a few options. You can either continue doing a basic infinity braid. If your hair is long enough, you can also tie the braid off here and then leave the ends of the hair in a ponytail, but my hair was too thin for that. So i opted for the third option, which is a small bun, so i just tied the hair into a small loop and then tried to wrap the hair around the elastic to cover it up and you can do a clean, bun or a messy bun. It completely depends on what you like. The first step is to take a section of hair from your forehead to the back of your head, then split the hair into three equal sections. So now you should have a left strand, a middle strand and a right strand. Then take the right strand and cross it under and into the middle then take the left strand and cross it under and into the middle. Now move all of the strands over to your left hand, i hold the strands like this, so my pinky holds the left strand and then i grab the right strand with my thumb and index finger and then the middle strand is just hanging loose. On top of my hand, so here is a slow replay of how i grab the strands with my left hand, so you can easier see how i did it now pick up a new section of hair on the right side and then add it to the right Strand so just slide the hair in between your thumb and index finger, and that way you have automatically added the new hair to the right strand. So now you have to cross the right strand under and into the middle, so just grab the middle strand. That is hanging loose and pull it to the right side, and then the right strand is automatically placed in the middle. Now move all of the strands over to your right hand, and this is how i hold the strands. So my pinky holds the right strand and then i grab the left strand with my thumb and index finger and then the middle strand is just hanging loose on top of my hand, so here's a slow replay of how i grab the strands with my right hand. Again pick up a new section of hair on the left side and then slide the hair in between your thumb and index. Finger to add the hair to the left strand then cross the left strand under and into the middle, so just grab the middle strand. That is hanging loose and pull it to the left side, and then the left strand is automatically placed in the middle. Then move all of the strands over to your left hand, holding the strands the exact same way as before then pick up some hair on the right side and add it to the right strand so again just slide the hair in between your thumb and index, finger To add the hair then bring the middle strand over to the right side, so the right strand is placed in the middle, then move all the strands over to your right hand, holding the strands the exact same way as you did before then pick up some hair On the left side and add it to the left strand so again just slide the hair in between your thumb and index finger to add the hair then bring the middle strand over to the left side. So the left strand is placed in the middle, then move all of the strands over to your left hand and then pick up a new section of hair on the right side. Then add the hair to the right strand and bring the middle strand over to the right side. So the right strand is placed in the middle now move all of the strands over to your right hand and then pick up some hair on the left side and add it to the lift strand then bring the middle strand over to the left side. So the left strand is placed in the middle again pick up some hair on the right side and add it to the right strand and make sure you got all the hair. So there is no small hair piece hanging loose then bring the middle strand over to the right side. So the right strand is placed in the middle again pick up some hair on the left side and add it to the left strand. So when there's no more hair to add in then braid the rest of the hair, like a basic three-strand braid when you get to the end, then tie the braid off with an elastic and then you're done. The first step is to split your hair into two sections down the back of your head and i'm using a rat tail comb to part my hair with, and i will leave a link to all the tools i'm using in this video down below. Then i'm pulling all my hair forward on one side and then i'm checking to see how the part is looking in the back with a small mirror to see if i need to straighten it up. But it looked just fine so now just clip the hair away with a hair clip then grab your brush and brush your hair through. So there is no tangles, then take a small section of hair at the front and split the hair into two sections. Then you're going to take a small section from the top strand and then cross it over and add it to the bottom strand then take a small section of hair from the bottom strand and then cross it over and add it to the top strand again. Take a small section of hair from the top strand and cross it over and add it to the bottom strand then grab a new small section of hair on the same side and then cross it over and add it to the bottom strand. Then take a small section of hair from the bottom strand and cross it over and add it to the top strand then grab a new small section of hair on the same side and then cross it over and add it to the top strand again. Take a small section of hair from the top strand and then cross it over and add it to the bottom strand then grab a new small section of hair on the same side and then cross it over and add it to the bottom strand. You can also add the new hair to the small strand before crossing it over to the bottom strand, but this is what worked the best for me, then take a small section of hair from the bottom strand and cross it over and add it to the top Strand then, grab a new small section of hair on the same side and then cross it over and add it to the top strand again take a small section of hair from the top strand and then cross it over and add it to the bottom strand. Then grab a new small section of hair on the same side and then add it to the bottom strand. Then you're going to take a small section from the bottom strand and cross it over and add it to the top strand then grab a new small section of hair on the same side and cross it over and add it to the top strand again. Take a small section of hair from the top strand and cross it over and add it to the bottom strand then grab a new section of hair on the same side and cross it over and add it to the bottom strand then take a small section of Hair from the bottom strand and cross it over and add it to the top strand, then grab a small section of hair on the same side and then cross it over and add it to the top strand. So that is all you have to do. So. Take a small section of hair from the top strand and add it to the bottom strand and then add some new hair from the same side to the bottom strand. Then take a small section of hair from the bottom strand and add it to the top strand and then add some new hair from the same side to the top strand. So now just continue those steps until there's no more hair. You can add in and this braid is going to take a while to do, but the result is so worth it. So i'm just going to speed this up quite a bit, so we can get to the end of this braid foreign. My when there is no more hair you can add into the braid, then braid the rest of the hair, like a basic fishtail braid. Until you reach the end of your hair. When you get to the end of the hair, then take an elastic and secure the braid, then you're going to twist the two strands to the right and i try to keep the hair as tight as i can, because if you let go, the braid will untwist. So twist the hair a couple of times until it's nice and tight then cross the right strand over the left strand. So they switch places then hold both of the strands in your left hand and then grab a new section of hair on the right side. And then add it to the right strand, then twist the right strand a couple of times, so the new hair also gets twisted into the strand, then hold the two strands in your right hand, and whenever i have to hold the strands in my right hand, i Grab the right strand with my middle finger and then i hold the left strand with my thumb and index finger and that way the right strand you just added hair to won't untwist. When you're working on the left side, then you're going to grab a new section of hair on the left side and then add it to the left strand. Then twist the left strand a couple of times, so the new hair also gets twisted into the strand, then cross the right strand over the left strand. So they switch places again grab a new section of hair on the right side and then add it to the right strand. Then twist the right strand a couple of times, so the new hair gets twisted into the strand again grab the right strand with your middle finger, to hold it tight and grab the left strand. With your thumb and index finger then you're going to grab a new section of hair on the left side and add it to the lift strand. Then twist the left strand a couple of times, so the new hair gets twisted into the strand, then take the right strand and cross it over the left strand. So that is all you have to do so add some new hair to the right strand and then twist the right strand a couple of times then add some new hair to the left strand and then twist. The lip strand a couple of times then take the right strand and cross it over. The left strand again take a new section of hair on the right side and then add the new hair to the right strand and then twist it a couple of times. Then take a new section of hair on the left side and add it to the lip strand and then twist the strand a couple of times again take the right strand and cross it over the left strand. When there's no more hair, you can add to the braid, then braid the rest of the hair like a basic rope, braid and normally i would just pull the hair out to the side. But somehow i decided to pull the braid upwards instead, but that seemed to work as well. So just do what works for you when you get to the end of the hair, then take an elastic and secure the braid. The first step is to split your hair into two sections and i'm using a rat tail comb to part my hair with, and i will leave a link to all the tools i'm using in this video down below then take a hair clip and clip one side Of the hair away, you can also just use a hair tie and just tie the hair into a ponytail just use. Whatever you have at hand, then you're going to take your brush and brush your hair through. So there is no tangles, then take a small section of hair at the front and then split the hair into three equal sections and when you're splitting the hair, then pull the hair in the direction you want the braid to go. The way i hold the strands are like this: i hold the top strand in one hand, with my thumb and index finger, the middle strand, i always grab with my middle fingers and the bottom strand i hold. In my other hand, with my thumb and index finger then take the top strand and cross it over and into the middle and then grab it with your middle finger. So now the top strand and the middle strand has switched places then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle and grab it with your other middle finger. Now you have started the braid off so now we're going to start adding hair into the braid. So again take the top strand and cross it over and into the middle and then grab it with your middle finger. So now you have to add hair to the strand you just placed in the middle, so i'm going to just place the top strand under my ring finger just for now, because that way you have a free hand to work with then pick up a small section Of hair right next to the top strand and then add the hair to the middle strand. And i do that by grabbing the top strand, with my thumb and index finger from under the ring finger and then cross the new hair over and grab it with your middle finger. That is also holding the middle strand. Then you're going to do the same thing on the other side, so now take the bottom strand and cross it over and into the middle and then grab it with your middle finger then place the bottom strand under your ring finger just for now then pick up A small section of hair right next to the bottom strand and then add the hair to the middle strand so again grab the bottom strand with your thumb and index finger out from under the ring finger and then cross the new hair over and grab it with Your middle finger, that is also holding the middle strand again cross the top strand over and into the middle and then place the top strand under your ring finger. So it's out of the way then you're going to pick up a new section of hair right next to the top strand then grab the top strand with your thumb and index finger and then cross the new hair over and grab it with your middle finger. To add it to the middle strand again cross the bottom strand over and into the middle and then grab it with your middle finger and then place the bottom strand under your ring finger then pick up a new section of hair next to the bottom strand. Then grab the bottom strand with your thumb and index finger and cross the new hair over and grab it with your middle finger. To add the new hair to the middle strand again cross the top strand over and into the middle then pick up a new section of hair. Next to the top strand, then you're going to add the new hair to the middle strand. So take the new hair and cross it over and grab it with your middle finger. To add it to the middle strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle then take a new section of hair right next to the bottom strand. So again, you're going to add the new hair to the middle strand, so take the new hair and cross it over and grab it with your middle finger to add the hair to the middle strand, then you're going to take the top strand and cross it over And into the middle again pick up a new section of hair next to the top strand and then cross it over and add it to the middle strand, then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle again grab a new section of hair. Next to the bottom strand, and then add it to the middle strand, then grab the top strand and cross it over and into the middle. Then pick up a new section of hair next to the top strand and then add the hair to the middle strand. Then grab the bottom strand and cross it over and into the middle then grab a new section of hair next to the bottom strand and add it to the middle strand, then take the top strand and cross it over and into the middle then grab a new

Shimbledimbledoop: This is wonderful, I can finally learn how to braid my hair! I really love the step by step instructions, and she does not ever say anything vague like most hair tutorial artists. I learn in a different way, and the style of this video is the best I’ve come across.

Drifting Fox: Dutch infinity braid is my favorite, thanks for taking the time to show all these braids. I have a tough time getting my braids tight and not loose since my hair is very fine. I found that using some dry shampoo or a little hairspray on it before braiding helps.

Win Lei Khine: Thank you so so much! I previously thought I will never be able to do any braid apart from the most basic one. This video is the most helpful one I have ever seen.

Amy Elliott: You have infinite patience and arm strength! I like the way you break it down and reinforce it so we can actually follow along without rewinding

LeftHandDon'tKnow: It is so reassuring seeing someone else struggle with their sections tangling together at the ends like their hair is trying to join together at the tips ;w; all these other hair youtubers who either clip out those difficult parts or whose hair just glides so effortlessly into parted pieces that stay seperate make me feel so inferior, but now I know it's not just me!

Bunny: Thanks for making this so easy to understand. I struggle a lot with direction and you give steps all the way through.

Judit Forgó: Beautiful hairstyles ❤ finally learned how to braid my own hair, I will try out all these beautiful looks ❤ your instructions are really helpful, this is my fav youtube video currently

marilza monteiro: Lindas tranças !!!!!

JO BRAY: I used to French Braid my hair, or under braid as we used to call it, starting at the front of my head all the way to the bottom or end of my hair and tied off with a small elastic. On the last loop of the elastic I wouldn’t pull the end of the hair all the way through so there was a loop of hair at the end of the braid. If you feel under the bottom of the braid at the nape of your neck you will find there is a tunnel under your braid. push the end of the braid into the tunnel under the braid until it is entirely in the tunnel and pin in place. You may want to use hair pins along the way to distribute evenly the weight of your hair. Mine eventually ended up at the beginning of the braid after my hair grew longer. This can be done with shorter hair also. I found it to be very comfortable and stayed place all day.

Aura Marie: Thank you! I like hairstyle tutorials you can do on yourself. While I love some of the styles on YouTube, they're easier to do on other people than yourself. Plus you're doing yours on human hair, while others only use a mannequin that has more hair than humans usually do.

Lexie Madz: I have only ever been able to do braided pigtails bc I can't get the braid tight enough to start a basic braid down my back. I have really fine hair that somehow still manages to tangle. I am going to practice. I feel like I might stand a chance of winning against my hair and do more complex braids. I cut my hair so I don't have as much to work with, but I plan to try a lot more now.
