Quick & Easy Twisted Braid Hairstyle (Great For Wet Hair)

Hey guys it's Jack Jack and welcome back to my channel. So in today's video I have a quick, easy hairstyling video to share with you guys. I recently posted this picture on my Instagram feed and I received a comment asking for a hair tutorial and I know I shared this technique in several hairstyling videos in the past, but I wanted to do just one quick, dedicated video on it. So if that is what we're going to do today, so you are interested in finding out how to get this hairstyle then just keep on watching. So this hairstyle works great on both wet hair and dry hair. I'Ve been doing it a lot recently on my wet hair, because when I shower and I get out - and I want to get ready quickly - I'm kind of limited to the hairstyles that I can do with wet hair, and this one is just a quick and easy One that works you are just going to need two hair elastics and a brush or comb just something to section off your hair. You really don't even need this. To be honest, you can just use your hands, but I will go ahead and just split my hair down the middle like so, and I'm going to take it be tip of my comb and just drag it in a straight line back, so I can split the Rest of my hair back here and I'm just gon na tie one section out of the way. So it's we don't get confused and it's like it just out of our way. So you want to take all of the hair push it forward in front of your shoulder and then I'm going to just put on my sleeves real quick. You want to start by taking a small section by your part, and you want to split that into two and now what you want to do is take this front section and twist it back, and then you still have your two sections here. So now what you want to do is just pick up some hair and I use my thumb and index finger pick up some hair. Add it to each section so pick some up from the pick, some up from the back and then you're just going to twist again. So the front section goes back, and then you have this again so just like before pick up some more hair from the front pick up some more hair from the back. So you got your two sections here: you've added some hair and now you're going to do the same thing. Take the front section and twist it back so you're, just gon na keep repeating that all the way down and just I really hands just to make sure. Like all the hair is down, there's no like flyaways and weird pieces sticking out, so you just keep going down, adding more hair to the front and to the back twisting it and when you get to the nape of your neck, you're just going to take a Hair tie and tie this up, I'm just gon na tuck. That'S how I'm right here and I just let this do its own thing. Let it air dry, so it does get a little bit poofy, but it doesn't bother me too much. So here's what it's looking like right now, which I know it looks a little crazy, but I'm just going to gently tug on some of those twists to give it some volume like so just like that, and if you have any like weird pieces. I kind of just even take a bobby pin, but I just kind of twist them back and it sort of just falls into the hairstyle. So there we go now we're going to repeat the same thing on the next side, so you want to bring all the hair forward in front of your shoulder. It just makes it a lot easier. Take a small section, split it into two boom boom. Take the front section and twist it back and then pick up hair with your thumb and index finger on both sides, smooth that down and then continue on so now that we have that we're just going to secure it with a hair tie. What is this I'm? So crazy, looking okay with your big fat, just kind of tuck it into the twist, like so tuck, that behind my ear and then again, just like the other side, we're going to gently pull on the twist to give it a little more volume. So it matches the other side and again with these little flyaways, I just kind of twist them in and they stay down and then that's it for this quick and easy hairstyle. If you want, you can grab a few pieces to frame your face here in the front which sometimes I'll do but I'll wait until my hair is a little more dry and then I'll pull them down, because I don't like how they look if they're, just like Wet skinny little strands here, so I usually do that a little later in the day and I'll just like grab some hairs to frame my face, but that is it for this hairstyle.
