In this, step-by-step, instructional hair tutorial video, learn how to make a voluminous, messy loose bun with braids for short, medium, or long hair lengths.
For this braids updo with curls, we'll be using a 1" curling iron to curl our hair to create soft volume. However, if you prefer to go heatless (no-heat), you can wrap your hair around a sock overnight.

Hi guys i'm tina from mega wearables, and this is an easy braided updo tutorial first curl, your hair with a one-inch curling iron and then pin them up to set it to save time. I'Ve gone ahead and curl mine already, except for the crown alright. So now make a side part and clip away your sides next put the bottom half into a ponytail around your ear level, then split. The ponytail into two bundles now wrap the hair around two to three fingers, two to three times to form a curl and then pin both openings of the curl to secure it. If your hair is long, you need to repeat this process until all the hair is pinned up when this side is done, do the same on the other. Okay, so now undo that section that wasn't curled yet and apply your heat protectant, I'm using my favorite argan oil here by our vasoya because it works as he protected aside from giving you great, shiny, curls. So now split this section into two and clip away the top. If you want to make this really fancy and voluminous without teasing, that is, you can use a hair patting then curl, your hair with a one-inch curling iron and pin them up again to set it. I did this in two sections: okay, so undo one of the clips and lightly tease the roots just slightly and then we're going to pull out the edges to make the curls a lot bigger and fluffier, then we're simply going to drape the hair. On top of the bun going around the edges, so that it kind of curve around the bun itself and then secure it in the side somewhere. If you have long hair what I need to get rid of it so, and we will do that by forming more curls okay, so we repeat this until all the hair is pinned up in the back right, a bit Oh sky next time now, on dizzy light Side and that's the side with less hair and twist it away from your face going towards the bun and then put it on top of all the other magic now for the Heaviside. I want the parade to be really thick and voluminous, because it's the key point of this updo right, so I'm going to use for smallest clips from my 22 inch bombay hair extension set and then attach it just on my crown feel the magic once that's been Done we're gon na make a Dutch braid with the heavy side to Dutch braid. You simply add in hair to these sized strands before crossing it under the middle strand, like every now we're going to pull on the sides to expand the braid and go and even further, by pulling on a strand of hair at the bottom and pulling the rest Up, okay and then just take the braid in the back and pin it across the bun and we're done if you like, braids, I'm going to have another tutorial for you guys at the beginning of next week.
