Hello: everyone, it's your girl, cheyenne and i have been tired of my hair. It'S been locked down and i've been wanting to do something different in my hair. So yesterday i deep conditioned washed everything i'm going to link that video in the cards, because a lot of people found that helpful and today i'm going to be installing some large knotless braids in my hair. So i grabbed my hair bag, which i believe every black girl should have, and i got out these cheap packs of hair, which are super useful for times like this you're going to need a wide tooth comb right tail comb for parting, then i also used this Wax for my parts now, first, i'm going to be sectioning off my hair. I ended up having about 23 sections, i'm just gon na. Let you guys watch how i section and then we'll get into the breeding process once i'm done, sectioning everything. This is how it's gon na look. I ended up doing three at the nape of my neck, then dividing my hair in two and then doing ten sections on one side and ten sections on the other side for a total of 23 sections. As you can see, my hair is super shiny and it's really important for you guys to prep your hair before have a very strengthening, deep conditioning treatment before doing any protective style. So i'm going to tie everything out of the way and work one section at a time i'm going to prepare my braiding hair for each braid as i go normally, you can do this ahead of time, but i just do it as i do. Each braid i'm going to section off small pieces that gradually get bigger just so that it flows with the braid which i'm going to show you to actually do the braid you're gon na start by brushing out the section and then applying the wax or edge control Or whatever to the base of the braid, this is my first time actually trying this um. Then i'm gon na brush that wax through my hair just to make sure that it is smooth. Then i am going to start braiding. Normally, i'm going to do just like two tans, i don't know tens whatever, they call them, but i'm going to start adding from the smallest section gradually getting bigger. Once i was done with the braid. This is how it looked. I was just touching the bases of the braid to make sure that they weren't slipping um. I wanted to show you guys how i hide my natural hair, as i'm braiding. First of all ignore my nails because we are in a lockdown but yeah you see how my hair is like poking out. I go ahead and wrap the braiding hair around my hair, so it is like hidden like you'll, be watching my hands and you'll see like. I have to be mindful every time i'm braiding my hair to keep on wrapping the braiding hair around my natural hair so that it doesn't poke out - i'm not perfect at this, so sometimes my hair does poke out, but i always keep it in mind, as i'm Braiding, so so, this is how my hair looked when i was finally done putting all the braids in um using the wax. It did, help my natural hair blend better with the braiding hair, in terms of like making it look, shiny and smooth also do not mind. My parts, i know they are straight up, wonky and zigzag, but i wasn't too pressed about them and i don't really stress about clean parts, especially when it comes to braids um, so yeah, i'm just gon na show you a few more close-ups of my hair and I'Ll be right back, my ends did need to be dipped, but i did that the next day - and this is how long the braids came out. Thank you guys so much for watching. My videos see you in the next one.
