Hey you guys it's toya and thank you for watching toyajtv. Today, i'm just going to show you how to get your braids into a bun. I have knotless braids um. I'Ve had them for about six weeks, so i'm going to show you how to get them in a bun, i'm just spraying right now with the cooling hair, mister and that just helps my scalp not to itch. So, that's why i try to put it on especially right there, where i know i'm going to have the ponytail and now i'm just getting it up into position. One thing to know is you need to use the very large elastic bands, because these braids i mean it's a lot of hair, so just a regular elastic band is not going to cut it. So that's why i'm using the really large elastic bands - and i basically am wrapping that around three times alright. So at this point, what i'm doing is i have the ponytail exactly where i want it, but i'm just pulling some of the braids because a lot of times when you put the hair in the ponytail a lot all of the braids, some of the braids are Kind of loose, so i'm just pulling the ones that are loose, making them a little bit tighter, not too tight, but just pulling them so that they're secure and making sure that all of the braids are inside of the elastic band. Before i start wrapping it around. So especially like some of the ones in the back get kind of loose and some of the ones in the middle. So now i have my honey, whipped foam wrap. Actually, it's whipped honey foam wrap and i'm gon na put this all on the sides and what that's going to do if the braids start freezing or anything like that, it helps the braids to lay down and it helps them look much neater. And since i'm six weeks in at this point, i love using this because again it just helps the braids look neater. That'S why a lot of people say your hair doesn't even look like your hair still looks good for it to be six weeks, but that's because of the whipped hunting. So when i get done, i will tie my edges and everything up just like i would if my hair was not braided so now, i'm just wrapping it around and i'm just making sure that all of the braid is wrapped around and when you wrap the braids Around you want to wrap it. It depends on how big you want your bun. If you want your bun to be kind of big, you can wrap it loosely. Otherwise, if you want a smaller bun, you would just pull that hair tighter when you're wrapping it around. I wanted mine kind of big and full, so i wrapped mine around loosely and i'm just checking to make sure no braids are sticking out from the bottom of the bun and then i'm just going to take my second elastic band and wrap that around to secure The bun, so basically, what i did was i folded that elastic band in half and then i just wrapped it around the bun one time. Instead of just you know, trying to wrap it around twice. I just folded. The elastic band in half put it around the bun and there you have it it's nice and secure and there you have it so there's the side. Look, the back! Look! Everything is up. Nice neatly tucked and i am on my way out. So i hope you guys enjoyed this video right now. I'M also going to tie it up with my satin wrap cap. This is what's going to help, lay those flyaways or any frizz down, and i'm going to leave that on for a little while. But i hope you all like this video and be sure to subscribe to the channel comment like and share it with your friends, and i will see you all next time talk to y'all later bye, bye, oh and one last thing. The wrap cap is very wide and it covers the nape of your neck. That'S why i love it. Alright, i'm gone for real now.

R Danielle Williamson: Made it look so easy! Going to try it with my twists & shaved sides.

cupcake girl: Toya, love your braids. Have a question. I have fine hair and I am relaxed. I also am 10 weeks post and I would love to get my hair in braids like that. I'm just afraid my hair would be too weak and I don't want to lose any of my length while on my journey. Would you reccomend and if so what precautions should be taken? Thanks, love your channel❤

Lila Daley: I love the size of the bun! Its so full and voluminous

Bertha Woods: I love the honey whip foam

Marsha Wall: What’s the name of the elastics your use?

Tiffany M. Lewis: Where did you find that satin wrap that’s big enough to find around your braids??

J S: Luv video
