Is my name what up beauty african beauty here and today, as you can see, the girl is bringing you guys a little tutorial on how i did these knotless box braids for the first time ever on myself, y'all i'm super impressed like this instantly became one of The top favorite hairstyles i've ever done on myself period, but i was contemplating not doing this video for y'all, i'm not gon na lie, but i was just thinking about as soon as i post a picture or post a little instagram video i had to do for The brand we could help people saying like youtube video is coming right. I know you feel the video right, like all of that. I knew you guys were going to jump down my throat, so i was like. Let me just make this into a little youtube. Video for them or whatever, especially because i know you guys - are missing the natural hair content. So, although this isn't like curls grow natural hair type vibes, this is still natural hair in the sense that it's a protective style. It'S definitely going to last me a long time, i'm loving it. As you can see. I can't keep my hands off a little bit anyway. Before i hop into this video, if you're new to beauty game, you ain't never heard of us, we don't know you've been able to you're so glad that you found this beauty again. It'S hella super lit over here. If you don't believe me, go check the comment section below and you will see multiple beauty game members, not shifting back to your holy stupidly after that, go to the subscribe button and the bell button, so you notified each other for this new videos without further ado, Then i'm gon na do this later. Alrighty beauty gang, so i'm gon na go ahead and keep this short sweet and to the point so first things. First, i went ahead and blow dried. My hair, i'm actually gon na kind of breeze through these steps, because i recently did a more in-depth video on how i blow dry. My hair on my channel, which you can check out after this video, but i always always always do the tension method first and then i go ahead and add my comb attachment to make sure the section is fully detangled and stretched out. I'M going to show you guys one more time, though, and no, i didn't show it in the video, but i did use a leave-in conditioner and heat protectant spray on each section. So again you see the tension method i am using first then, the comb attachment this has literally been the method that i've used over the past couple years and has helped me so much with the manageability and efficiency of blow drying. This thick type for natural hair and, as you can see before you know it i'm up here serving you guys, beyonce energy, okay, now after i'm done blow drying my hair, then the next step, and which i would also say, is probably the hardest step is parting. Your hair, this hairstyle, will not look good if the parts aren't crispy and that's just on period. I highly suggest using a small rat tail comb, as you guys can see, i'm using here to create your part and then afterwards go ahead and braid up that section. That made the job so much easier for me, because all i had to do is take down each section as i went, but before we get to that part just want to go ahead and show you guys some more of my uh well, i actually found the Gray, hair - i was very blown about that. Go ahead and see me test it with it for a minute. I couldn't get it out, but i handled it later, but yeah after i create the next part. I just continue doing the same exact steps. Braiding up the section and then moving on to the next, but i did want to show you guys this part in particular, because i know for me personally whenever i'm trying to see videos in particular like braiding videos, people don't really show their parts like that, like They don't show that process, nor do they show like a detailed view, so i'm always left wondering how many braids did they have oh blah. It doesn't give me enough time to look. You know oh and then real quick to definitely have somebody help you with the back of your hair. As you can see, i asked my fiance. No, no! No! Now you have to do your other part baby. You got ta do the other part. So let me check, let me check sure, let me check to see if this is good, so i'm obviously over exaggerating it didn't take three hours, but it did take a little bit in order to get all these parts clean and precise, especially because i technically asked An amateur to help me, but he did his thing. You know i did adjust things a little bit more once i began the hairstyle. However, the end result was a total of 14 braids, seven on one side, seven on the other. Now the next step is actually styling, my hair. I did use some pre-stretched, kanekalon or kanekalon. I don't know how to pronounce it hair in the color 2 to match my natural hair color now hopping right into things, because these are knotless braids. I started my braid with my actual hair, as you can see here and then to feed in the hair. You'Re going to see me grab a piece and then it's going to go under my middle finger. Now, i'm not going to lie and say that this video is a how to do knotless, braids video. It'S really not. I kind of like taught myself through watching videos and stuff, but the video that was most helpful was telling me that whenever i'm adding hair, add it under the middle finger and just continue braiding, as if you didn't add any hair at all. If that makes sense - and it kind of just i don't know it - just works now - also a little bit more tea for this hairstyle that i kind of didn't include in the video i did have this hair braiding jam that helped me create super neat and clean Braids, as you guys can see, i have the back side of my hair done just six braids back there, and then i also went ahead and did half of the front side as well like these braids y'all. I couldn't believe i did it myself personally. Now. Here'S an up close, real-time view of how i did the first section on my right side. As you can see, i'm using that hair jam around the perimeter, because obviously the front of your hair and how the edges is laid is super important. As you see, i'm being very precise, with my edge brush well brush and comb, and then i go ahead and create the knotless braid by first doing at least like three or four rotations. I guess you could call them with my own hair and then i'm going to add under my middle finger, the extra extension or feed in hair, whatever you want to call it, and it really doesn't interrupt the motion that you already had going. Braiding your own hair. Honestly, if you can braid your own hair, you're, definitely capable of doing knotless feed in braids. Another quick tip i wanted to give too and a big contributing factor as to why i think my hair turned out so nice and looks so professionally done. I gripped my hair very taut, as some people would say the whole time so think of it in a way like being heavy-handed, but not in a painful way. I really hope this is making sense to you guys, but okay final section in the front, as you all can see, i'm really making sure the hair jam is nice around the perimeter of the hair. Before i begin braiding it and again here's one last close-up. So you guys can really see the details, braid your hair first, you can see i'm kind of heavy-handed with it, but it wasn't painful then add the extra feed in here under your middle finger, as you continue. Braiding also add a little bit of jam each time. That'S what helped keep the braid really neat too. I kept adding product almost every two three rotations. If that makes sense, especially on the part where your hair, the line of demarcation, i think they call it where your hair ends and the hair extension continues. Also, another off-camera tip that i did the kanekalon or kanekalon whatever hair that i used was entirely too long. So i did end up cutting it at waist length because this type of hair tangles very easily and very quick, and i was happy with it being at waist length anyway. I didn't want it to be obnoxiously long, so this is the final product of my hair. After i finished off the ends, all i did is add a little bit more hair then cut it into like this egyptian type of cut and add rubber bands. At the end, i just did whatever i wanted to do. I was really over a hairstyle at that point because it was getting late, but i'm very very happy and pleased with how it came out. Definitely let me know in the comment section below if this is a hairstyle, you would rock or plan on recreating alrighty y'all. Well, that is all i have for you guys. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video if you plan to recreate this look - and you do be sure, to tag me on instagram, so i can go ahead and show you some love or whatever. I'M super impressed with this hairstyle y'all, i'm not even gon na lie. I feel like it's giving me vacation, vibes and energy. I feel like it's giving me just new hair new me type of energy. You know, especially because your girl is a fiance now, whatever it's, you know it's only right. That is all i have for you guys. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video. Don'T forget to like comment share subscribe. If you are new, because beauty gang is clearly lit, i mean come on, come on first time ever doing these all right and until next time guys bye, everybody never gave them about what they say. Cause you had a lot of day is your name.
