Hey everybody, my name is ogo and a couple weeks ago i did a first impressions of rebundle plant-based braiding hair. So if you don't know, rebundle is a hair company that sells plant-based, braiding hair made out of banana fiber and because it's plant-based it's supposed to be itch free because it doesn't have all the toxic chemicals that synthetic braiding hair has. So in that video. I was just opening my package, which i pre-ordered in january and giving my first impressions of the braiding hair, and today this video is talking about my first impressions of the install. So today i got my hair braided with the rebundle braiding hair and i'm just going to be talking about my first impressions and experience getting the hair installed. So if you're interested stay tuned, if you haven't watched the other video i'll link it below or above with the the things whatever, and so that you can watch it and just get up to speed on my thoughts about the the feeling, the hair and then you Can watch this video and get my thoughts on the install, so yeah stay tuned. So today i got medium sized box braids. I am 5'7 and these are butt length on me. So these are pretty long. If i do say so myself, i went to apollo beauty land in harlem to get my braids done, and i got my braids done with the braider named bruce. So just in case you want to get your new york and you want to get your hair done. That'S one place that you could go, i'm going to put a picture of bruce's business card, so you can have her information and yeah. It was a great experience before i went to get my hair braided with bruce. I actually came in and i showed bruce the braiding hair. She touched it and i just made sure that she was okay using the braiding hair, so that today i would just go in there'd, be no drama, no wahala, just easy, easy and yeah. It was a great process bruce when i brought out the hair. Bruce was like. Why don't you use expressions, and i was like? Oh it itches me, i can't use it. I can't use any of the other synthetic, the easy braid, the spectra so and she didn't really put up a resistance, so it was a good process. It took an hour and a half to get the braids done. We used three and a half packs and i'm i'm pretty pleased with it. Now there are some little differences that i notice with this hair. So i'm going to insert a clip, but the hair is it's not exactly smooth and i'm not sure if that's because of bruce and her skills or that's just the braiding hair. But if you look at the clip that there's some little hairs poking out and the the ends of the hair are not also smooth personally, i don't care for about that. I think that it's fine, i'm happy with how it looks. I also didn't get any special type. I know like nautilus is very popular right now and i didn't get that because i just wanted to get the cheapest option and just this is basically a test run for me. So i'm just gon na see how this looks and if it works, then i'll do like the more popular special styles like not not less box braids and the other cornrows but yeah. I just stuck with some basic box braids and i'm pretty happy with how they look. Is it perfect? No does braiding care the regular braiding hair, look different! Yes, but i don't really mind and i'm excited to wear these and see how they go so while editing. I realized i forgot to include this clip when i was getting the hair done. I noticed these little specks on my body from the hair and in the last video i made. I also talked about these specs again, not a big deal to me, but i just thought i would add that in so in the last video i was talking about how synthetic braiding hair makes me itchy. It makes me itchy and also when it comes in contact with my face. It causes me to break out. I'Ve tried everything like i said in that last video. I'Ve done the spectra, easy braid. I'Ve tried this brand called latched and hooked. I'Ve done the apple cider, vinegar wash none of that works. For me, it makes me miserable the only thing that kind of works is this brazilian yarn, braiding hair, i'm gon na put it in the description box, but even that still itches me a little bit and it's not also a good. It'S not a perfect replacement for synthetic braiding hair. Now, with this hair, i'm not itching so far, i feel good. It feels fine on my skin, but i'm not going to declare victory yet because in the past it has taken a couple days for this synthetic braiding hair itch to manifest. So i don't know i i'm gon na need to give it a couple days before i can say that this is is free for me, i'm not i'm not ever like everybody, so you may try it and it may be perfect for you, but this is just About me - and i need a couple days so in about a week - i'm going to leave a comment or update the description box telling you guys if this is itchy for me or not. I really am hoping that it is not itchy, because i really be missing out on braids that brazilian yarn that i use you can't really use it for cornrows and it's it's not the best. It'S not the best substitute. You have to burn the end. Sometimes the last time i used it, there was a bunch of lint in it, so it's not perfect, but if this works out i will be so happy because girl, i have been suffering. I'Ve been suffering i've been suffering, so i really hope that this works out, but yeah this that's. This is pretty much it i'm going to make another video in about three to four weeks, giving you an update on on the wearability of this. I really am hoping that i can wear this for two months um, but we'll see so i'll be making another video so watch out. For that. Let me know if you have any questions, i'm happy to answer yeah. Thank you guys for watching and i'll see you in the next video bye.

O N: I’ve had the hair installed for about 1.5 weeks and there’s no itch!!

T T: thank you for this honest review!! i really wanna try this hair, we need more earth and human friendly beauty options. :)

jogoeswest: Fabulous, thanks for sharing this sustainable option with Rebundle! You also look lovely in this color and length, good job on the style curation- yes sis. One question, with stiffness and hair pokage … did your stylists heat-set your braids? Like dipped in hot water after, the install? That typically, is key to adding more flexibility to the braids as well calming down the bits of strands that kinda stick out. I’d be curious to know if the plant-based fibers would even still sustain after that last process. Sending light and positivity Thanks again for making these reviews!

Courtney T: Thanks for your review. Would love to know how it held up after a longer period of time. I really want to try this hair but it’s been so hard to buy. They always seem to sell out immediately after restock.

M. D.: Omg please keep us updated! Im currently wearing braids and my scalp and my whole body aches I tried everything too...need to use that rebunedle hair as well

Tatiana Pretty: Is it just plant based or is it vegan too? I’m trying to find something that wasn’t used from animals….or tested on them
