Hey guys welcome welcome back to my youtube channel in today's video. I am showing you how i achieved this look. These are called goddess box braids. They also called curly end box braids and initially i wanted to do tribal. You know box braids, you know the ones where you first braid the front part of your hair. Then you lit you know box breeze um at the back, but because i can't cornrow with a hairpiece. It was just terrible. It didn't work out, so i decided to just do curly in box braids, slash goddess box braids and i'm loving these curls i'll, be showing you that i use these bendy rollers and how much they cost me where i got them which hair i used. Okay, i use darling one million darling, one million, so the title of this video is going to be how to diy goddess box braids using darling one million, and that is it for today. Don'T forget to subscribe to my youtube channel before i get into this video. It'S free to subscribe, follow me on instagram and pharmacy and we are now monetized, so don't skip those as i am watching you before i go into how i achieved my hairstyle, i'm gon na discuss the stuff that i used all the things you need. You need three packets of darling. This is darling, one million braids, so darling comes in a lot of um types and it's the kanekalon here created by kanekalon japan, and this is the best for twisting micro, braiding and full lonnie styles. So i have three packets of the darling one million braid. I forgot to mention that you're also gon na need bendy rollers. I got these from clicks for 59.99. I got the bigger ones because i want big curls, i'm not going for the small curls. I'M really like feeling the big curls that i've been seeing around. I hope i managed with this hairstyle hey guys, so i initially wanted to do um a different type of box braids. I wanted to try both box braids, but these are just going to have to be regular, diy curly ink box braids, but at least it's still going to be my first time doing these type of box braids, because i'm not going to finish um plaiting the whole Braid i'm going to leave some of the hair unplatted so that i curl that hair at the end, i really tried so hard, i'm going to put clips at the end of what i was trying to do. I was trying to do like a normal um cornrow right down the middle and then some corners coming down. I thought i could do it, but i'm going to have to learn how to do that. Some other time i'm just going to do regular box sprays and i hope they come out looking nice, so let's get into it yeah, but then this is a good side parting and don't want the hair to be too yeah. I don't want to make these too small just want them to be regular box braids, i'm gon na grab some hair. At least i know how to do box braids. At least i can do that and i grab a twist once and i secure that and just stop letting. So when you get to the point where you want to make your knot, it usually becomes a bit tricky, but i figured out something so you want to part like a really small section of hair. Then you want your thumb to face you and then you hold it there. Then you bring the small piece of hair that you section around the thumb. Okay and then you make a knot simple as that, and you don't have that problem off. Okay. This did not happen with these ones. I think it's because i might have taken the hair from the other side, but i'm not sure what i changed now, if i didn't give that problem with the other ones, maybe the knot is too big. Let'S try to do that again because we don't want that. If it's like that, that means the braid will basically come. Undone, the knot will come undone, so okay grab a small piece of hair, relatively small one, not a big one block and you make a knot there. You go okay, i still have that issue, but it's okay. I don't know why. I didn't get it with these ones, maybe because i should take the knot all the way around um guys, no man, it wasn't doing this. Maybe i should take it from the other side. Do that and okay, i figured it out. I must take from the other side, then it doesn't do that weird thing: okay, my knot is not tight, make sure it's a tight tight, tight knot doesn't come undone and there we have it. So i put the thumb in front of me and i grabbed a from the other side, and then it goes anti-clockwise. Then it doesn't do that weird thing and it doesn't really matter if they're not exactly the same size as long as it's not dramatic like too dramatic, and so i go on so so hey guys. I'Ve now reached the point um, where i'm going to use the bendy rollers. I am super excited. It is my first time using bendy rollers and, as i mentioned before, i got my bendy rulers from clicks essentials and i believe that these are actually called goddess box spray. Hey there me again, i'm gon na dip this one first, because it looks nice and secure. I'Ve got my bucket of hot water here guys, i don't know if it's gon na reach all the way down, because this package is quite big but anyway, oh dear, it's super hot water. I feel like this is gon na, be the moment of truth. I'M really skeptical um. If this one doesn't work, then that means i need to change my method. So here goes so it definitely worked, but i don't know i'm not crazy about these curls. I don't know about you, but they just look basic, hey guys. So as a tip when i um curl three at a time, the curls actually look somewhat better and also make sure you dip it in for like 30 seconds, at least, and also don't remove the bendy rollers like unrolling them just try and make like a clean. Take out then i undo my bendy rollers and i try to remove it. So it's a bit tricky, but it should come out in such a way that yeah see that you're still holding it like that. So the curls don't come undone immediately and then you drop and when you drop you've got some beautiful curls. Some beautiful curls
