All About My 28" Knotless Braids

Hi guys welcome back to my channel. I just got the random idea. It'S a lot today because I'm getting my hair braided, I just washed conditioned protein treatments, cleanse detangle, blow-dry, trimmed the whole shebang last night in preparation for braids knotless braids that I plan on getting today. But I want to take you guys, along with me, because I thought it'd be kind of cool kind of fun. I always love watching people get their braids done. So I don't know I just figured it might be quality content, but we're kind of still in quarantine. Texas is opened back up. Obviously it's a salon. It'S opened back up, but I made sure I texted this lady knows like hey. So what you doing about coronavirus and she was like. I wiped everything down. You wear a mask. I wear a mask, so we should be all good to go. Another thing I never ever let anyone else do my hair, but myself. So this is gon na be an experience. It'S not less braids. 28 inches. I know it's gon na take hours, so I've actually packed a bag as if I'm going like away for good. I had this bag here, where I put snacks, I have my iPad in case I want to watch, Netflix shows or any movies. I packed two books. I got Michelle Obama's be coming, and I also have this book that I randomly saw at a book store one day and picked it up so I am set. I am ready it's gon na, be relaxing, I think, honestly, for once I won't have to stand for hours doing my own hair, so I'm grateful for this anyway. I'M rambling a lot. Let me just get to step in before I'm late for this appointment. This is like the best moisturizer that I've ever used in my entire life. I mean using it for almost two years now strictly just this, and that mask that you just saw me rubbing in right after I got out of the shower, it was all so fresh. Let me see if I can pull it this guy and then of course got ta top it off with some big slide, some Vaseline oldie and a goodie. The last time we talked last time you guys saw me. I was still getting my hair done. Guess what time we finished we started at 4:30 and we finished with the other clip. So here we started at 4:30. Oh sorry, at 4:30 and finished at 3:30 in the morning, can you imagine it was at 3:30? You know we finished that 2:30 in the morning and I got home around like 3 o'clock and then went to bed around like 3:30. So by the time we were done, I just like was not. I was so tired and I was also scared. I was like I need to go home. It is not safe at me straight. So this is the finished product 28 inches it pretty much fits like my hip, and I am gon na be filming a video today, it's gon na be about three things that I am doing differently with my natural hair to take it to the next level and Make it much more healthier so that should be coming up before this vlog, so it should be live so I'll link it here on this, so you can watch it. If you want to know what those three things are, but before I get into filming mode, I need to go, eat breakfast and then we will get the whole process started. I'M gon na write down a few notes. I already know what I want to say. My head, but it'll, help to write it down in a notebook. So that's good. Third, all right guys. I have eaten breakfast got my my thoughts together and now I'm ready to film I'm trying to decide if I want to do like let it fall. Naturally, with the middle part or if I want to tie it up the way it just was or if I want to do like a side part like I don't it's nice, so I'm actually gon na. Let you guys in on a little bit of my filming setup. I always go for natural light and I also use these umbrella lights concurrently, oh okay, um. So let me put you guys, maybe okay, everything is all set up by my natural light. I have my umbrella lights. I have my stand here. I'M gon na stick here. I have my plant prosthetic. My bed is made, everything is booked gee, you guys. I still don't know what to do with my hair. I tried this ponytail thing, but I don't it's. Just the body is this: goodbye is the survive. It feels like a lie, but it doesn't, it doesn't quite feel like alive. Maybe if I do both sizes, it feels like a vibe, but it also feels like a costume, I'm not trying to look like I'm wearing a costume. I wanted to feel natural like I just looked up and likes for the camera. You know what I mean so problem number one. I don't trim often enough problem number two. I don't use the right tools in trimming, hey fam, so video is complete. I am done filming for the day. Sorry guys I just keep looking at my hair comes tryna figure out how to make his best fits me. I will say this: I do have a lot of trust issues with people doing my hair, and I just have to come to the realization that no one is gon na ever get it perfect, because only I can do it perfect, because I see the vision and Then I implement it on myself, but when I'm giving someone else control they don't they don't really see what I see my hand what I won't. So there are little things that I've noticed with it that I would have done differently, but this is after the fact like. I can't change anything about it, so I just got a like, for instance, one thing I like is that it's very light like it doesn't feel like there's a lot of hair on my head, but at the same time the ends of the hair is like kind Of thin, I also kind of expected it to be a little bit longer. You guys see the red in there. I personally would not have put in the red if I knew it's gon na come out like this. I would have just gone with the blonde, but this is the thing like. If I was doing it myself, I would be able to see like I have the mirror I have like. I can see all angles of my head and analyze and change as needed, but as she was doing my hair, I couldn't really see everything she was doing. So I just let her do what it do right now. I would say I am 90 % satisfied, which is good enough. I mean the lady tried to shy. She did a good job, I'm not trying to like downplay her anything. She did good. It'S just me personally.
