Haircut Tutorial | Fade With Braids! Hd

First video back after a YEAR! A little rusty but ready to teach y'all what I know.

The back of the haircut had to get cut out because it was focused on my hand the whole time!

Braids: Cousins GF

Cut: Me

Remember to comb everything out, detail, and take your time! Trial and error is a barbers best way to learn

Man, it's been over a year, but now I'm back on YouTube and I'm not gon na lie this, like my 20th time, we're doing this boys over I'm just not used to this. No more! It'S like it's a weird talking to a mic. It was hard getting the angles when I was cutting his hair, but we're gon na get back to it. We got a mid ball fade with the hooks on the side and we got the bridge and top. So it's gon na be a dope tutorial. We'Re gon na be setting our foundation with the three guards and we'd be cutting all around. This client was my cousin. He wanted to either have a two or three when we chose the three cuz you want to keep the darkness and with Asian here the density is mostly thick, but with the lighting do to our hair being really straight or agent here being really straight, it gives It an illusion that the hair is thin because you can see the sculpt really easy compared to life early here, we're gon na start. Our ball play with our ball line and you can see that I'm arching it because I'm contouring the head and I'm also keeping the c-cup dark, because I want to keep the c-cup. If he didn't want the hooks on the side, then I would have started my big pop. My mid ball fade where the corner at the bottom of his vertical line is but every time you sit a guideline, you want to make sure that it's always clean and even so each time you make a guideline make sure it's clean, because it'll just make your Job easier as apartment, our next cut line is gon na, be our lever all the way open, no guard, as you can see, there's a top line to the guide line and the bottom line. And after since the guideline you're gon na start hitting that bottom line. That you see right there with the liver all the way closed and you want to barely hit it like once it your blade touches that line. Just stop don't go any higher because you can raise the bait and after you do, that with the liver, closed, we're gon na go out halfway, and that should pretty much do it. We'Re basically just softening up the lines until it's blended in sometimes the lines still there. So you got a play with the lever, use the corners and just use your experience as a barber and use that barber vision II for me, so yeah make sure using the corners. Barber is really exaggerated using the corners, because, if you use the whole blade it's it can give a bigger. How can I say this? It'S an easier way to make a mistake. Appease the whole braid, because you're gon na be cutting an area that you don't want to cut and it's just more precision, if you're, using the side of the blade, but now we're on the third card line. We'Ll have the lever all the way open with the one guard. As you can see, on the left side, the guide line isn't as hard that's the right side and that's because I'm using more of the heel of the guard and I'll explain that in a bit. But now we have our zero guard on the Clipper right now we started with deliver all three clothes and, as you can see, I'm starting at the bottom line again and I'm barely hitting it. With the lever closed and now I got deliver halfway and I'm gon na hit that line again and, like I said it's gon na keep softening up that blend. I want you guys to. Let me know how comments down below and tell me what your guys is hardest thing about cutting in and what questions you guys have. As you can see right there, the zero guard close couldn't blend all the way, so the next level down is the lever. All the way open, no guard and that's what we're doing right there. We'Re gon na detail, use the corners and that's just it. The precision of the corner of the blade is basically what you need to master and that's all you're playing. It'S simple like that. Now we're using the to guard with the lever all the way open, and that should be our last guard under the three besides using the one to blend that two out. But as you can see, I'm not digging in all the way to the head. I'M kind of going based off the scalp just going straight off the head now deliver all the way open with the one garden and I'm not necessarily digging in with the teeth, but I'm going straight off the hill. And what I'm talking about is not a lot of barbers uses the hill of the guard, the hill of the blade is where it kind of angles off on the blade where it kind of protrudes out and it kind of helps the barber as an extra safety. So you don't create another guard line or cutting too much when you're going higher into the boat and if you pay it in to the left side, that's the heel, that's what I'm talking about. Now. We have delivered all the clothes with the two guard and I know I using three all around and I was going against the grain, but right here, I'm going with the grain and going with the grain it doesn't cap, it doesn't cut us short. I was born against the grain because we're not going against the hair growth we're going to with the hair growth. I won't answer it now, we're just putting tile powder onto my next destiny, and this is a quick tip, we're about it, use our ball dish, so it can be super clean. You can see the gradients really well from skin all the way, the hair and, as you can see, I'm going against the grain and then I used to do this. I you should tell everybody like: oh yeah: go up down left right diagonal, but you basically just need to go against the grain. The goal is especially with the shavers: try and have the least amount of strokes as possible, because you don't want to create skin irritation and cause the client to bump up and that most cases. That'S the reason why you rotate the skin, not necessarily because they don't clean their clippers. You know, but now we're using our shears, I'm using my thumb's kind of a guide for my shears, but riskily hovering over it to try and get the stray hairs that were to fit in there. Like I said, y'all the precision the details goes a long way. Clients will appreciate it. I appreciate it when Barbara do this to me so now we're starting at the C cup, I'm using the corner of my blade. That'S the easiest way to do the C cup corner. It'S like it's like a pencil. You got ta. Imagine like it's a pencil and just drawing with it, if you guys want me to do a full video like how to really detail with line ups and going depth with it. Just let me know in the comments I'll do a separate video for that. I was pointing right there that there's a little dark area so after I've finished a C cup, I'm gon na been going over it and it's just the small things like that. That could set yourself apart from barbers as well, and it especially if you take pictures of your hair cuts, you don't want to like take a picture and be like. Oh, I should have done more on this side. I should have them on this spot, or I should have done more in that spot might as well. Just do it right then, and there, if you see it so I'm using a shaving gel there. You want to make sure that you're pulling the skin, keeping it tight because it'll prevent you from nicking the client, and you know scarring them up and just hurting them in general. Now we're using enhancements we're about to make the lineup darker. This is the black solutions. Hair color spray, but there's three different types: there's hair fibers, which is more matte. It looks like a powder there's this spray in the can and then you can use an airbrush which is they use. Semi color, semi, permanent, hair, color blue. But here, as you can see, there's overspray and I just sprayed water onto my straight razor and with the airbrush, how it really it stains the skin. If you over spread using the airbrush when you're enhance me in the lineup, all you got ta put, is rubbing alcohol or at the shape on to the straight razor and it'll, come off just like that, how do you guys feel about enhancements? I believe that if you're a barber, you should learn everything in this industry, no matter what it is, because you're a barber is what you're gon na be doing for the rest of your life and you might as well learn everything there is to it. Oh here, here's the second type of enhancement that I was talking about the hair fibers. This one gives a little more of a natural look as it's powder, it's matte, and does it really necessarily make the hairline kind of shiny and look like a spray after I'm, just gon na go over it with my liners and it's just gon na clean it Up make sure it's straight and I'm gon na knock off the excess hair fibers. Some of you guys might be asking why didn't use the hairspray onto the front of the lined up? It'S because I don't want to cover the braided area. So I believe that using the fibers was a smart decision, so it's just small things like that that you got ta make on yourself, here's the final cut and I really hope you guys enjoyed this video. Let me know what you guys think like this comment, whatever just let me know how it did, I'm a little rusty coming off from a year, not posting anything, but thank you guys for watching.
