Hi friends and welcome back to the channel, i'm styles: i love all things: beauty, full okay. So in today's video we are going to be doing a sleek jungle, braids ponytail. So i wanted to go for a middle part and then i decided that no, no, no, not like in the middle part, so i decided to go for a side part. So i use my rattle comb to achieve the part there and yeah. I use a bit of shine and jam as well to clean the part up to give it a sleek look. So i use my terry band to hold things together. Yeah and i use eco styling gel to achieve the look, and today we are using the expression. Braid in here in color 1b - yes, it's the closest color to my hair. So that's why i'm using 1b, so i removed the elastic band from off of the braid and i went on to cut the braid into half yeah. Why i cut the braid into half because to work with the braids that long? It'S going to be difficult, and i don't want you to make that same mistake here. So i cut the braid into half, so one part would be for the base or the start of the braid and the other part. I separated it into three equal parts and that's what i'm going to be using to add length to the braid, because we're going for a sort of a butt length: um braid, okay. So if you're new around here, i would love for you to follow me on my social handles hit me up on the grams okay at styles by lovie underscore i use a elastic band to attach the extension to my hair yeah. So i put one piece on top of my hair and the other part i left it hanging down, and then i used the elastic band now to attach that to my ponytail that i created, and this will help to tuck my hair in or hide my natural Hair this matter that i'm using, i really love this method, whoever created it is really good. So i separated my hair into three separate parts to start plaiting here, and i also separated the extensions into three equal parts as well. I also left out a little bit of it to wrap around the ponytail to give it that more of a natural look. So, as you can see there, i'm trying to tuck my hair in between the braids so that it won't be peeking out yeah. So i started braiding and tuck in as well, so i braided for like three four times and then i started pinching the edge or the ends of the braids to create that jungle braid or that butterfly braid, as some people call it. So you can go or plat as as much as you want. I was plating like three times and then i started pinching, so i plat one two three and then i started pinching to the edges of it to create that jungle effect. So when i reach a bit closer to the end where i realize the braids is, you know commented - and i added just one of the piece of the braid that i separated earlier - i'm using that part of the extension to add length to the braid yeah. And it's pretty much the same thing that i'll be doing over and over again, so i will leave you to look on yeah so girlfriend while you are looking on. I would love for you to follow me on the grams and on tick tock. Okay, it's gon na be fun over there catch up with me there and yeah. My social handles is relatively new. It'S new it's new new new, so i would love for you to follow me over there yeah and while we on that note, if you like what you see here yeah, i would love for you to subscribe to the channel leave a like on this video leave. Okay and don't forget to turn on your bell notification. So you'll. Never miss another video from me again, okay, so we are true braiding, i wrapped a elastic band on the end of it, because i wasn't gon na braid straight down to the end. Oh, i wanted some more of that butterfly or jungle braid effect, and i took time to pinch some more out of it yeah, so that's it, and there is that extension that i left out. I'M wrapping that around the ponytail hope you like this video hope you, like the braid and how it turned out comment below.
