Diy Neat Box Braids With 100% Kanekalon Hair

I'Ll be showing you how I do my first set of box braids, I use twelve packs of hair and the hair on the left is showing how much I cut off. I start off by stretching and pulling the hair to make sure that the ends of your braids are tapered instead of just a blunt cut. This step is optional, but apply edge, control to the break. That would be around the perimeter of my head to start the braid. I take one side of the hair and split it into two and then cross it over, and that gives me my three pieces that you need to make a braid when I did my braids in order to get it tight and close to the scalp. I kinda did it as if I was doing a French braid, but not really you you Perris, when i zoom in and slow it down just a bit to try to show you what I meant when I said I kind of do it like a French braid. So the first piece I take like two-thirds of the section of my own hair and then the rest. I grab it up with the second piece of hair if they make any sense at all. You you you now in the back is complete and it took me about five and a half hours to do that, a tip when you cut the hair at the begin. Until the ideal then cut it like a few inches up, because the stretching method causes it to go like 2-3 inches longer than where you cut it, and that's why mine are super long and I didn't intend for them to be that long. Now that I am finished braiding, the next step would be to dip the hair and hot water. So you want to use boiling water, so you have to be really careful, because that mess is real hot. You want to have a towel nearby just so you can quickly grab it with the towel, and this is just to seal the hair so that it won't unravel on its own throughout the time that you're wearing the hair.
