2 Sleek Jumbo Braids On Short 4C Natural Hair | Siya Mbungu

Hello, hello. It'S me today's video is all about this hairstyle. If you would like to see how I achieved this look, keep on watching. The first step is to part your hair in the middle all the way to the back, I'm going to spread to the side with some water, because we don't work on dry Here. I am applying Jamaican black castor oil all over the section, and then I am parting it in half, and that means I am going to work on a total of four sections. If your hair is shorter than mine, you can do more sections, as we usual I'm using my eco styler gel to slip down my hair. What I'm doing basically is applying the gel all over this section and then using my fingers to work that gel in. I am brushing my hair to make sure that everything is nice and smooth, and I am using a stretchable band to tie my hair. So I'm doing the same thing on this front section I'm applying the gel and working it in using a brush to make sure everything is nice and smooth, and then I will use the same stretchable band to tie my hair. I will flick down the other side. Off-Camera because I've shown you exactly what I do on this side, I am now twisting my hair so that it will be easy to tuck it into the braiding hair. When I do my jumbo braid, I am now covering my hair with a satin scarf now. This step is very important. If you have 4c hair, you can't just apply gel and it stick to your hair to be all slicked down. It won't work. I am back. I did my makeup off-camera and right now we are going to complete our hairstyle. Let me first take off this joke. Everything is good, my hair is laid and I am happy umm. The hair we are going to use for our braid situation is this hair, so you are going to take the hair out and then you are going to remove the rubber band, because this hair has a blunt cut. I am just stretching the hair. After stretching it. I'M using a wide tooth comb to detangle in placing a stretchable band right away. The rubber band was placed, and then I will use this to attach the braiding hair to my natural hair. I am now making a three strand braid and I am tucking my natural hair into the braiding hair, so that it doesn't show that's basically how you do the trade and the stretching of the hair is what makes it to look like that, I'm going to do The exact same thing on this side off-camera just to save some time and then I'll be right back. So now I'm going to dip the ends of the Jumbo braids in hot water. You there and do a little bit of the end just a little bit, and then it will look like that nice and curly and then use your rubber band. So that is basically it from me. Thank you so much for watching.
