My hair color:

This is a custom color job, created by a stylist at a salon, using a professional system not available in beauty supply stores and which requires a valid cosmetology license to purchase--no I do not know the name.

Bleach was not used. We have been lifting my hair lighter and lighter over time using developer (which is not bleach) since October of 2015. I will not post a video on how to color because I am not a licensed cosmetologist and I will not give directions on how to use chemicals that I do not have a good understanding of. If you'd like help with achieving this professional quality color, please consult a LICENSED and QUALIFIED professional who specializes in natural hair because coloring will alter your texture and can permanently damage depending on your hair and the process. I suggest utilizing booking websites such as styleseat.com, social media, and word of mouth referrals in order to find a qualified professional! Good luck

Hey y'all is de and I'm here with a quick video on how to clean, cornrows I've gotten questions about how to wash feet and brave and box break styles because they do get itchy and flaky, and I don't really think it's a good idea to shampoo them. So I'm gon na show you guys how to get your Scout clean, so yeah. I'Ve had these braids in for about nine days now, and I intentionally didn't apply anything so that my hair forget flaky, and I can show you guys how to remove it. So I'll be using a water bottle, some mousse, any kind of mussel do and I'll using girl and hair products today clean condition and moisturize. So first I'm going to lightly miss my hair with some water, and I mean lightly. Y'All do not want to over saturate your hair doing this, and you also want to move to the process pretty quick. So you don't frizz up your braids, then I'm going to take the girl in hair, clarifying apple, cider, vinegar, rinse, apply it to my scalp lightly and then I'm gon na rub my scalp lightly and just do that all over my head so notice how I'm rubbing In the direction of the braids to not disturb the way the hair is like swooped up in the braid. I'M you guys can use sea breeze or witch hazel, but the benefit of using apple, cider, vinegar rinse, is that it's gentle, but an effective cleanser. That will not strip your hair. Also apple cider vinegar strengthens the follicle for healthy hair growth, which is the whole point of protective styling and last. It will not hurt your hair if you don't thoroughly rinse it, although it is recommended so to remove the ACB rinse. I'M going to take a makeup, remover pad slightly dampen it and then rub it against my scalp in the directions at the braids are flowing through, and I wasn't paying attention and use the wrong side a couple times but make sure you're using the you're, not using The fluffy side, if you're gon na use a pad to wipe off the ACB rinse. Otherwise it's gon na leave little lint balls on your head. Next up, I'm going to use the nourishing leave-in conditioner and I do recommend using products with the little nozzles like these, because it's easy to apply to your scalp. And what I do like about this conditioner is that it has tea tree oil in it, which is a natural astringent, that further breaks down build-up and kills bacteria. So not only is it moisturizing, it's also cleaning, my hair too, so I'm just gon na rub the leave-in conditioner in I know y'all like girl, your hair gon na, be so frizzy, but that's what the mousse is for. I just put a bunch of it on my head, tie it down and go sit under the dryer and that gets rid of the frizz. For me, I do know that things vary subject to texture and how good your brighter is, but that's just kind of something you have to assess for yourself. If you want to go through and do the initial part of spraying with the water and cleaning with the apple, cider, vinegar, rinse and boom, there's no frizz and for the final touch, I'm gon na go ahead and add the restoring balm, which is my favorite thing Out of this collection, it protects hair when it's in protective style and it made my hair so soft and I like how its silky, rather than greasy like a traditional oil, and that's it real simple. So as far as the whole time it takes to do this. The drying time it should take you no more than 10 to 20 minutes, but ok in real life. I normally would not do this with some feet in braids. I would do this with some box braids or some kind of twist, but with these cornrows I would just apply the leave-in and restore balm for two weeks. But since you guys were asking me, I went ahead and just gave you guys a way to go ahead and clean your cornrows, because I know some people can't wait that long all right. So that's it. Thank you guys. So much for watching. Don'T forget to Like comment and subscribe before you leave bye,

Prophetess Lady Of Wisdom: You're very pretty. I love your hair. I never knew that you can wash corn rows without ruining the style. Great video

Ximena L. Castillo: I was super worried about trying this (not sure why) but the basics of it are legit. I didn't use the products she had, but I filled a small spray bottle with two shots of ACV, four shots of water and a tiny squirt of my fave sulfate free shampoo. Shook it up and lightly dampened my hair with it. I treated it the way she does in the video. I guess I was worries cuz I had a lot of product build up AND my scalp was flaking, OD. Like, grossly noticeable so maybe I thought I had to scrub a lot? But I did what she did, and used a makeup remover wipe to soak up the ACV after. I put my best staying gel on and lightly used my hand dryer after and even used some tea tree oil I had around for my rows. My hair looks great! It does not itch! And I'm glad I watched this video! Thank you
