Pumpers get mechanics, listen here, it's just one, a lighter back and forth just make sure you twist in the hair that makes it heaven mice and that catch on fire just blow it out. Cuz anytime, there's like a little loose hair. Sometimes it's gon na catch on fire. Let'S see what it go up and down and not just sit there, that's great! I just kind of twist it just kind of put it in a play or gay bar and then just release it slowly and then you just cut it off right would excess hair, that's how you make candle wick, braids or twists. We are, and this keep twisting make sure you jus trying to make the twists as even as possible it's with a previous twist. So that's pretty good! You don't wan na make it too long, but that's good okay! So now what I'm going to do is I'm going to take one strand and when it's high it off make sure we give it I'm going to tie it off like I would a micro braid so see I'm taking this strand and I'm just looping it around. So it could become like a rubber band for it. So now it's nice and tight in there so could just kind of let it go on it. So just make sure that you keep your strands together and if you don't, you said that loose strands like that was gon na cut it. But what I'm going to do is go back and heat it up, because you don't want it to unravel so just make sure you pay attention to what you're doing. This is how you fix the pipe in a twist. If you make a mistake in leave a few twists now, you always want to go back. If you cut anything, you want to go back and make sure you burn it and melt it, because, if not and later down the line, I might start unraveling. Okay, stop know what I'm gon na do we have our end, I'm going to just burn it, just heat up the end, so I can just stay. This is basically selling it don't be afraid of it and just make sure you get it nice and hot, just kind of play with it a little bit, but be very careful just make sure it's all ready. Okay, then, on it's ready to be cut and just cut right where below, where you marked it, and there you have another bad twist and just keep continuing, but you see that the ends is not how you want. It just burn it a little more and twist. It just be careful as you're doing it, because this could be dangerous. If you don't do it correctly so be my focus is heat and there you don't. You have a Havana yard twist.

runningrosa: Wow, thanks! These were helpful steps and needed to be sure I'm doing it right. I usually tie my ends then cut them but the bottom looks like a mop. Now, this helpful tutorial will help me out ;)

Chestna: You are so pretty! This technique brings up back high school memories of walking into the bathroom before school and finding girls finishing up those last few kanelon braids with cigarette lighters, lol. Maybe today's highschoolers are doing the same thing with yarn, too. I like the way you explain things very clearly in your tutorials.

D M: Hi 6yrs later! Clear, precise directions. Do the burned ends scratch/ruin clothes when the hair is down? I think I had this issue yrs(10+) ago when sb else did this on my braids. I love yarn though it's so light on your head.

R 13ristowe: Thank you, super helpful!
