Night Time Routine | How To Preserve Your Crochet Braids

Hi, Guys! I got a request to do a night time routine for these presto curl crochet braids. I used the Cantu Shine and Hold Mist to help detangle the hair and make it shiny and smell great! Hopefully this vid is helpful! I definitely forgot to lay my edges lol

Hey guys, it's India welcome back to my channel. Today'S video is going to be on how to maintain your crochet braids at night. I got any requests in the comment section to do a nighttime routine, so I figured why not throwing up super quick before I take these crochet braids out. So these are the finished results and you guys will see how I twisted them up at night and everything. Now I don't have to spray with me, but it's the can to shine and hold mist. It'S kind of like a clear bottle. The solution is like a white color and has an orange top. It'S super inexpensive, it's less than five dollars, I'm pretty sure you can get it from like Walmart or a beauty supply store Sally's, whatever I've used it in a previous video that I have on how to refresh like a wavy type of crochet braid. So that's this right that I used all I did was divide my hair into sections spray that and you guys will see how I do it in the clip. That'S next, but yeah. That'S pretty much! All this video is about it's just about how to maintain your crochet braids overnight, so that they look really nice for weeks to come. So this is week. Three, it's been Saturday will be three weeks so they're, you know pretty much old, but I think they still look really really good, and I love love love this presto, curl hair. I will link my previous videos on this hair in the description box down below. In case you guys are interested in that so without further ado. Let'S go ahead and jump right into this tutorial. Okay, so we're gon na go ahead and get started, so I'm just gon na begin sectioning off my hair. I don't do this in any particular way. I just kind of separate it, and then I have some clips I'll. Just click this to the side and then all I'm gon na do is take my spray and I'm just gon na spray. My hair pretty generously make sure you really get the ends. Cuz, that's gon na, be the radius part, and then I'm just gon na use my fingers to kind of just detangle just kind of take the pieces see you have stuff like this and just try to pull them apart. It'S okay to you probably have to be a little rough with it. You know, but just kind of try to separate the pieces matting. What shei hair is extremely common, so don't be like. Oh, this hair is bad because it's matting, no, it's just cuz its crochet braids and that's how it is. So if you and you don't like stuff like that, are you mind that it mess up? Crochet braids are not a good idea because you could see how this it's like, just one big piece. So we want to separate that and of course you can cut off any ratty ends. I'Ve pretty much already gone through like a few days ago and cut off the really bad parts, so I shouldn't have to cut off too much more today, but don't hold on to it. Just cut it off spray. A little more. I don't do a certain number of sections. I just do, however, many I feel. Normally I end up with about like six twists anywhere between, like five and seven twists, usually and then kind of just go like this, and you can remove see how you're getting this on the end. You can go ahead and just cut that off, so I'm gon na use my scissors and just snip, and you can see that this right here is what I've cut off. So I don't do this every night but like if I know I have somewhere to go tomorrow. I usually try to do this routine and then I just divide it into two sections and I just do a two strand twist straight down. That'S it very simple. Once I have all my twists I'll put my satin bonnet on and that's it really really easy, and it just helps to keep the crochet braids looking nice. This is the best way to preserve them. You'Re gon na get a lot more matting and stuff and see it just looks like this you're gon na get a lot more matting and stuff. If you just throw your hair in a bun every night. So every night I don't use this spray, but every night I do try to twist up the hair into at least four twists and, like I said no particular way, I'm doing this just separating it, and these crochet braids have been in for two almost three weeks And I do plan on taking them out soon, just cuz. I have a new style that I want to do. These can definitely go anywhere from like four to five six weeks. Even if you take care of them, do you see I'm just spraying really liberally and yeah, I'm just gon na go. Do the same thing over my whole head and I'm just gon na go ahead and speed this up, boyfriend. Okay, I'm all done so. I have one two three, four five, six seven twists and all I'm gon na do is take this jumbo satin bonnet, that I have and just put this on and stuff all the twists inside, and this is how I'll go to sleep tonight. Nothing special really really easy. You can also put these. You know just in a high bun and sleep on a satin pillowcase. If that's what you want to do, instead of wearing on bonnet but yeah, that's it! So I'm just gon na go to sleep like this and then I will unravel these tomorrow. Okay, guys it's the next day, so I'm just gon na go ahead and take my satin bonnet off and unravel these twists. Okay guys! So I'm all done unraveling the twist! So this is the end of the video. I hope you guys enjoyed this. It'S super easy to maintain your crochet braids, so yeah, that's pretty much. All I wanted to show you guys is these results, don't forget to subscribe on your way out, and I will see you guys in my next video bye
