Hi, my beautiful friends. How are you doing it's me me here today, as always, and today I'm really excited to be here, because I'm gon na show you a really beautiful side braid, I haven't worn psy braids in a while and the other day I was just playing with my hair And I was doing a regular, fishtail braid and then I realized I got something very different than a fishtail braid and it looked really cool. So I stared in the mirror - and I thought to myself - okay hold on Mimi. Just don't move, don't do anything. We have to figure out how this braid works, so I literally just stood there and I and tied the braid, and I looked at step-by-step how I got to where I did and eventually I figured it out so today, I'm gon na be showing you how this Brain works. It'S super easy. It'S sort of a variation of a fishtail braid, I'm probably gon na call it a layer braid because it looks sort of layered. So, let's begin alright for this tutorial, I'm gon na be using just two tools: a hair brush and a little hair elastic, I'm already wearing my Lexi hair extensions, I'm wearing the ombre set, which I absolutely love my highlights are growing out, but because of the own Wrist set, it just kind of you know, brings out the highlights there in my hair. I absolutely love the highlights, I'm considering getting them done again, but I'm kind of torn, because I don't want to damage my hair. So tell me what you guys think. Should I get it done again for the summer or not? How is this all together? I like that, so here, alright, so the first thing I'm gon na do is just brush my hair just to make sure there are no tangles. Once I brushed my hair, I'm gon na split my hair in three equal sections and I'm gon na first start it with a regular braid, but I'm literally just gon na. Do it once just like that, then, when I'm at this point of doing a regular braid, I'm gon na make two sections out of three, so I just added the middle section into the right section and then I'm gon na take I'm gon na pretend I'm doing A fishtail braid, so I'm going to take a small section from the right section and cross it over this, the right section and it's going to go under the second section, which is on my left and I'm just going to bring it here. Okay, so this is like the biggest step once you've got this. It'S like we're halfway there once we have this one tiny section here, all we're gon na be doing. Is I'm gon na bring sections from right? Add it to the left and then just cross. The left one or the right one and then I'm gon na go again here, take one section and it can be a chunky section or a thinner section. I'M personally like in-between it's not too chunky or too thin, so I'm just gon na cross it over and then, as you can see across it, the other the left one over the right one, I'm going to show you a few more super easy. It'S just like ABC so bring the section, the right section over this whole section and then closer to the left and then just cross the left one over. So you see what ends up happening is that you have layers up to layer and after layers, so again I'll show you one more just in case that we're clear on the steps, sometimes easy thing is actually seem complicated, but it's really really easy. So again, I'm just gon na take a section from the right bring it over and then just going to bring the left section over the right section, and that is it. So it's sort of like we're braiding a section all the way on the left, and you know the whole layer you're able to see every single layer as we're braiding and just continue it all the way down the braid. My better mana could be once I get to the bottom of the braid, I'm just gon na grab my hair elastic and just secure the ends. What I'm gon na do next, I'm just gon na pull on this braid a little bit just to open it up. A little more so you can see all the braiding was done on the left and then the rest ends up. Looking like really pretty layers, especially if you have highlights in your hair, it's gon na look really fantastic all right. So this is what the finished braid looks like. I think it's absolutely perfect, for you know a casual date or for school or anytime. You want to wear your hair on the side. I know I have those days or just like I want to wear my hair on the side and specifically the left side. Thank you so much for tuning in. If you do decide to put highlights in your hair there are a lot of natural alternatives to dyeing! Lots of great ways to lighten your hair that are NOT DAMAGING, such as cinnamon + honey (together they create peroxide), chamomile tea stain and also a few others that I can't think of at the moment and it will take a few times with the natural at home treatments in the end though it has been worth it for me :).
