It's been so long since I've created an easy side braid hair tutorial for you guys, this is especially perfect for beginners! The trick is that it is a twist that turns into a braid, so it looks like a French braid but a lot less work so this is perfect if you are just starting out, but want the look of a side French braid.

Let me know if you want to see more of these easy side braid hair tutorials in the comments section below! This is my go-to when I don't have time to get ready in the morning and I only have 2 minutes!

Thank you all so much for joining me here for this video! Make sure you subscribe to my channel because there are a lot more hair tutorial videos coming your way! :)

Hi everybody its Claire today, I'm going to be showing you a very easy side. Braid hair tutorial one of my favorites and go choose when I'm in a rush takes less than two minutes for me, especially if you learn my tips and tricks if you're new. Here my name is Claire and I love to make videos on how to look and feel your best. If you enjoy these type of videos, make sure you hit the subscribe button and also the notification bell so that you see my videos in your inbox each week. Let'S not waste any more time and get right into this hair tutorial. You can do this whether your hair is curly or straight, doesn't matter, I'm just going to go ahead and part, my hair on the side and what I'm gon na do is just go ahead and grab about a medium section of hair, so we're gon na make This super easy and get you out the door. So what you want to do is split this section that we have right here in the front into two pieces, so split into two we're only gon na be working in two for the first half of the tutorial. So we're gon na do is take this front section, rotate it over the bottom piece. Now you have the bottom piece in the front: okay, I'm gon na grab some section of hair. Add it to that pile now! Take that pile and do exactly what we did before and take this and go on top of the other strand, bring that strand forward now what you're doing is just adding hair to that pile. Every time you bring it forward, so we added hair, put it on top of that other section you're, only working with two pieces, but you're, just adding hair as you go, adding hair to the front section, but then we're gon na bring it back bring the other One forward so we're gon na add a hair to this piece. Again, I'm gon na check in just see how it all is looking and it's a twist, but it's also looking like a French braid, that's kind of the trick here, I'm gon na rotate it back still just working with two pieces, two pieces, the front section always Gets hair grab, hair you're, always kind of just grabbing here, pretty close to your face as you're going down the point you want it all on one side of your head doing make sure you grab every piece rotate it back grab hair rotate it back grab hair. So we're getting towards the bottom here, just keep grabbing here and rotating until you get all the hair off your neck, still just with two pieces. So now this is the last of the hair, as you can see, see it's all off my neck. What we're gon na do here separate this into three sections. So now I have three pieces here and we're just going to do a regular braid, I'm doing it pretty tight when you do that till the very end. It looks the best when you do that. I'M gon na use a really small elastic. I like to use that on my thick hair. It just makes it look a little cleaner. Of course, I don't have one out. Let me go grab one secure that and so you're gon na see what I did. I'M just gon na tuck in a little piece right there, a little flyaway. If you do that's okay, you can take like a little bobby pin or something doesn't need to be perfect. That'S what I love about this hairstyle. You have a little thing. Sticking out. Just put a little bobby pin right there and I even like to fluff out the braids a little bit just giving it a good tug. So it looks like you did a French braid here. Oh you saw how easy that was. This is like perfect. If you're a beginner - and you don't want a French braid - just opt for this - instead you're gon na do a twist and it's gon na flow into a braid. So it looks a lot harder or it looks like it took a lot more work than actually did so. If you have hair sticking out here, you can just stick bobby pins back here. This is definitely like my go-to hairstyle. When I don't know what to do. If I don't have a lot of time, I needed something for filming I'll. Just do this hairstyle. How do you guys request it, so I wanted to do an updated version of it. If you ever want more volume in a braid, you just kind of take the ends and pull you want to pull too hard. Cuz some like layer pieces will come out like you're, probably pulled that too hard, but you just want to kind of gently pull that out. You get this kind of effortless, looking braid, which I just love. This is honestly one of my favorite hairstyles. This is a great hairstyle if you're trying to get to school quickly, if you want to practice it for the weekend, blank hang out with your friends hope you guys try it at home. Let me know what you think in the comments section below of this twist. French braid faux braid, look, I hope you guys enjoy it and give it a try out. If you enjoyed this type of tutorial, make sure you give it a thumbs up and also subscribe to my channel and hit the notification bell so that I show up in your inbox each week when I upload. Thank you all so much for being here. I look forward to seeing you all in the next yeah take care. I you
