How To: Half-Up Pull-Through Braid | Hair By Chrissy

As you can see, we already waved her hair. She has texture in it. You might want to make sure that you have texture spray or something in it to give it texture, because that helps so much. But what we're gon na do is we're gon na start from the back and we're just going to show you an easy way to do a pull-through braid and it's so nice, because it is a little bit different than a normal braid. So, but it's really easy to do, but people can't quite figure it out so first, what we're gon na do is we're going to take a section of her hair like halfway up. It doesn't have to be perfect or anything and we're just gon na put a ponytail in it right here and then we're going to kind of just loosen it up a little and then we're going to take another section of hair. And this is going to be the other ponytail and I'm gon na have her hold this ponytail right here and I'm just going to take this section, and I took more upper sides this time and I'm just going to cut a ponytail in this one and then Now you have two ponytails so now you're going to take this ponytail and split it in half and you take the underneath ponytail and hold that up out of the way and you're taking another clear, lasting and you're just going to Bob. I'M sorry you're gon na take the clear, elastic and you're going to just put that in a ponytail and you're just gon na pull that out to make it look messy and then you're gon na take another one. This one is where you're going to split in half and you're gon na pull this up, which is going to hold that and we're going to take a little bit of hair and add it to this ponytail to make it look a little thicker. Take another clear elastic and just wrap that around okay and then same thing, we're just going to pull that out and then we're going to take this and we're going to do the same thing. Pull this through we're going to add a little bit more hair to this guy and then once you get to don't want to keep adding hair like once, you get to the top of the ear. We'Re gon na! Stop adding hair now and we're just going to keep making a few more ponytails down and pulling that out as we go just bluffing that out and then same thing, but now we're not going to add hair. So I'm just gon na have her hold this and then just put it in half again a same thing: you've been doing going down, okay and then same thing, just pooping it out a little, and I think I'm going to stop there and just take this piece. It'S in the middle and wrap it around, and just put it through that elastic that you already have on there just open it up and pull that piece through halfway. So it makes a cute little messy knot at the bottom and just kind of pulls these out. A little warm and there you have your half up, pull through great
