Welcome to another quick and easy hair tutorial for a party and everyday, without heat! In this video I'll show you step by step how to create the diagonal dutch braid inspired by Kartniss Everdeen in Hunger Games. It's a cute and easy hairdo suitable even for medium hair (shoulder length). We're going to transform it into a soft romantic braid and finally into a side bun for long hair (or medium length hair with extensions). The basic braid of Katniss looks great with any hair texture (straight, wavy or curly) and it can be done in 5-10 minutes (unless you decided to apply heat to straighten or curl your hair). You can wear it everyday to complete your casual glam look (to school, college, university, work, for meeting friends and going out clubbing). The big braid and the updo with a side bun are perfect for special events such as upcoming holidays - Christmas and New Year's eve, for a party, as a wedding guest, bride, bridesmaid, for prom, homecoming, graduation.

Hi guys today's tutorial is inspired by Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. In fact, I always wanted to show you her basic braid and for some reason I never had a chance to do it. So today, I'm going to show you her braid and two different ways to transform it into hairstyles for upcoming holidays. I hope you will enjoy this video. As a matter of fact, this hairstyle can be done also on medium blanks here, but since my hair is very thin and I'd like to create a voluminous, braid and brown later on I'll, be using my glance and clip in hair extensions, I won't be using all The weft only a couple of wider Swift's attention them much higher than I usually do. I will apply them diagonally right above the spot, where I plan to create my braids this wave. Some of my extensions will suddenly decide to reveal themselves. They won't have any chance, since they will be covered by my braid. The braid of Katniss is basically a regular Dutch braid. It starts right above the ear, so I section the hair that lives above my ear and divide it into three equal strands. I start placing the outer strands under the middle one, so the bottom strand goes in the middle. The top strand goes in the middle. The bottom stream goes in the middle once again and then I pick some loose hair and add it to my middle strand. The top strand goes in the middle. I section some loose here and I add it to my middle strand now I only have to repeat these steps directing my braid down to the opposite side of my head. My extensions are placed right under my braid and also diagonally, so I cross - and I add I cross and I add I cross and I add I cross and I add and once incorporate all the hair into my braids. I braid normally all the way down to the ends. Once you get to the other side of your head, you could actually secure your hair into a small ponytail. So if your hair is much thinner or much shorter, there is no need to create a braid or a bun. A simple side. Ponytail will also look really cute. As a result, I'm going to get the basic braids of Katniss in Hunger Games, it's perfect for everyday and we can easily transform it into a more formal hairstyle for upcoming holidays and any special events. And, as a matter of fact, it's super simple. Once you have the braids, you only have to tag on the sides of this braid to volumize it, and here, of course, the bigger the better it is, and the following. Hairstyles are the main reasons why I wanted to use the extensions today because for the basic braid of Katniss, you don't really need that super thick hair, but fan out my natural hair, like that, would be simply impossible. It'S way too thin for it, and here you make sure you want to secure the individual segments of your braid in place using bobby pins so that they stay in place together with your braids. Now this hairstyle is complete and I just love it on one hand. It'S very simple, but I think that's an example of a hairstyle when less is more, it's beautiful. It'S flattering and I think it's perfect for young girls who don't want to go over the top with their holiday hairstyle and finally, something for Abdul lovers. Now that you have your braids, you can easily transform it into a size, bun just wrap it around the base hide the ends under the bun and secure it in place with bobby pins. There.
