Hi guys welcome back to my channel and if you want to learn how I did this hairstyle using curly clippings stay tuned. Okay, so if any of you guys have seen my pictures on Instagram, you know that recently I have been rocking my beloved ninja boy. When I was relaxed and when I was transitioning, my favorite go-to protective style was the ninja boy, but since I big chop back to natural, of course, my hair is not long enough to do them. How use to - and I really missed them. So I ran across this video on YouTube actually on how this girl made her own curly, clippings and I'll leave a link to her video in the description box. But I just want to show you guys if you don't already know how to make your own curly clippings is just regular, Kanekalon, bright, hair, any kind doesn't matter. I got this for a dollar at Dollar General Games. Now the general has bright hair. So this is what I have also you're going to need bobby pins and you're going to need perm rods. So the first thing you're going to do is section off a piece of bright hair as small or as thick as you want it. This is actually bright. Hair that I couldn't have liked it was way longer. I used one half of it for my clippings and I already had made, and so I'm going to use the other half to show you guys how I did it, and so this is about the length that works for me. If you want your shorter, you can cut this to be shorter or if you want them to be longer, you don't have to cut the hair at all, but this length works for me. So I'm going to section off a piece of hair about this thick. I'M just pulling it out the already made hair. Then the next thing you're going to do is take your bobby pins and let me talk about these bobby pins for meeting. I got these from Sally's for about. I can't even remember how much I spent forum they're a bit more expensive than the other brand of bobby pins, but these are the actual, sadly, brands bobby cans, and they look like your regular pins. But what I love about these is is that the tips of the bobby pins and the bobby pin are all one piece which means that these little tips are not gon na come off like I've had these for months and months and months, and they do not Come off and we all know that when those come off they're painful, you need to throw them away because that will irritate and damage your scalp. So I prefer these, but anyway you're gon na split the hair and grab it right in the middle and then you're gon na take your bobby, pin and you're just going to attach it to the hair like so so. You'Re gon na have the bobby, pin and you're going to have the hair like this. Now what you want to do is you want to secure the hair to your bobby pins, so you're going to knot it and you're going to double knot it to make sure that it's secure all right. So you have your nut and then you still have your two pieces of hair on each side. Now, basically, all you're going to do is you're gon na do a twist out on your braid hair, and so don't judge me, but this is literally how I do it like. I do it the night before, and this is exactly what I do have your twist. I guess, if you let these go, your twist is gon na unravel. So what you're going to do is um you're gon na do like you would have twist out and you're gon na roll. This and this is your finished product you're, going to be left with your bobby pin, which is gon na work as you're clipping at the top, and then you have your perm rod and the twist wrapped around the perm rod and then are you gon na do With this - and I'm not gon na show this on camera because it's really simple and I don't want to go through the process of walking into my cue chain and out it because it's Sunday we cook Sunday dinner. So it's not going okay. So, but are you gon na do? Is you're gon na take this and do it like you? Do your braids, you're gon na do that synthetic hair in boiling hot water for about five seconds tops. It doesn't take that long, be careful you're, gon na pull it out and you're gon na. Let it dry like like this, don't unravel it until the hair is dry. What I do is I do this the night before and then I lay them on a towel, and I let them air dry overnight. In the morning, they're still gon na be able to damp because they're twisted up, but the curl patter is going to be there you're going to unravel your twist out your perm right, you're gon na be left with clipping extensions that resemble something like this and I Mean it just resembles what our natural hair looks like in a twist out. This is a washing, oh, by the way, if anybody is wondering but um, so you can separate these to make them it's you know fool or you can. You know leave them as defined as you want to I'll. Typically do 10 to 14 clippings, and then all you're gon na do is put your hair in your bun, like you would any other day and you're gon na clip these going around your bun and you're. Just gon na wrap them like you would marley hair. I like these because one bright hair is a lot less expensive in marley hair. You don't pay 99 cent to $ 1 for bright hair. You don't pay five to seven dollars a pack for marley hair, but you can't do this with marley hair. I like these, please also because it matches my next row - hair texture. I like this also because it matches my natural hair texture a lot better than the Marley hair. I found that the Marley hair is a bit kinkier than my natural hair, so whenever I try to be with style with Marley hair, it just looks inauthentic. So to speak, so that's another reason why I like to use these clip is also you don't just have to use these clippings for bones. You can also use it to make your hair fuller. You can use them like curly clip-ins, which is what I like. So I'm obviously not in the camera but crazy, but I'm just gon na show you like a way that she would do that. You would just clean would make as many or as little as you need it, and you would just clip them in around your hair to make them fuller. And obviously you would tailor the size of the perm rod to the size of the curls that you have or the hairstyle that you're going for. So I would probably crazy right now, because I wasn't with me in the mirror - and I didn't turn the room to my. Why should go texture play you so anyway, I didn't shoot an actual tutorial of how I clip my clippings going in around my bun cuz. I always are so that's so simple and you guys really don't want to see that. But if, for any reason, somebody out there doesn't want to see how I actually just clip them in just leave a comment below and I'd be more than happy to do that for you. So, as always, thanks for watching guys and I'll see you in the next video bye welcome back to my channel. This video is long overdue, but into alright have not been able to get my real hair in a ponytail or a workable ponytail until recently, don't like it I'm like the way that sounds.
