Hey guys welcome back to my channel today, I'm showing you step-by-step, how to do a French rope break and if you don't know how to do a basic rope, braid then check out my latest video. It will be linked down below and let's disc it into it. The first thing I do is to prep the hair and I'm adding a one clip hair extension from Fox locks to the front of the hair, to add some thickness to the starting strands. And if you're interested in foxy locks, hair extensions, then I have a coat down below that will give you a free gift at foxy locks com2, give the hair some more grip, I'm adding a styling powder and the one I'm using is the gut to be powerful, Which is my favorite and it will be linked down below so now, you're going to pick up a small section of hair at the front and then split the hair into two strands then twist both strands clockwise, so the hair gets twisted and I did about two Twists on each strand then cross the bottom strand over the upper strand, so they switch place so now you're going to pick up a small section of hair on the lower side and then add it to the lower strand, then twist, the hair clockwise again. So you have twisted the new hair into the Strand, then pick up a new section of hair on the upper side and add it to the upper strand then twist the hair again clockwise, just like the other strand when you have added hair to both sides, then Take the lower strand and cross it over the upper strand, so they switch place. So now you have to repeat the steps so pick up some hair on the lower side and add it to the lower strand and then twist the hair together again. On the other side, pick up some hair and add it to the upper strand and then twist the hair together then cross the lower strand over the upper strand. So they switch place again. Add some hair to the lower strand and then twist the hair together. Then add some hair to the upper strand and then twist the hair again then cross the lower strand over the upper strand and continue the steps again and again until you reach the nape of your neck. When there's no more hair to add in then just do a basic rope braid in the rest of your hair, so twist the two strands: clockwise and then twist them around each other in the other direction. So when you have secured the braid, then you can pull in the hair to make the braid look bigger and then you're done with this hairstyle. Jenn Hoff: This is great! I watched another video that said you pull in new hair by taking hair from the left, crossing it UNDER the left strand, and combining it with the right strand. Then pull in from the right side, pulling it under the right strand and combining it with the left. It was so hard to do on myself! And I'm pretty good at braids. This is so much easier! I guess this is more the "french" version and hers is more the "dutch" version. But I prefer this look, anyway. Thanks!
