Hers weren’t this micro. It’s really cool how they are doing it though. The twist at the root seems like it might help with style refresh. I don’t think anyone is just redoing this in a few weeks. She would have to spend hours doing a gentle comb out, just to get it redone. The twist at the roots looks like it enables it to be refreshed over time. Amazing work.

I have a aunt who could do those in about 8 hours!When I was 16, I had those, I took them out quickly, because of my hair texture! I have 4A, and 1B hair texture, it's very feather soft, and fine, low porosity, big waves/ curls, but after 3 days from a wash, my hair looks like it's been flat ironed! My aunt did my sister's the day before, and they looked great! But my 2 sisters have more coarse, thicker, more textured curl and wave patterns, So my aunt didn't have any troubles braiding them normal. My aunt told me she had to braid tightly so they wouldn't fall off, my hair so it was also painful! But fortunately for me, when I started taking them down after 3 1/2 weeks, they slid right off when I would touch them a certain way!!!! I didn't keep them long either, because by day 4, they were so frizzy because of my hair type as well!!! (And I did wear a scarf, and I didn't wet them either!) I was so hurt! Now I just wear a braided wig when I want braids! BTW, it took my sisters a full day to take them out! And no way, I went to my friends house, and stayed gone when they started! No way was I helping with that! Especially when I didn't even have to un braid my own situation! Lol!
