How To Put Cowry Shells In Your Braids | Decorate Braids

Today, I'm going to come in with you guys coming to you guys with a video on how I was able to put these cowrie shells in my hair. So basically my hair Souls like so much Negro, that's right! I'Ve just been on it, but literally you know. When it's old and stuff like that - and you just want to spruce it up before you, take it out real quick, you can just easily start decorating it. I couldn't even put yarn on it and stuff too, but I just ended up not doing that. I just put the cowrie shells, and literally it gives it such like a beachy type of vibe. Like look at this like very Beach, aesthetic, very just like Earth Day, it just looks cool to me. I really liked how it looked any spot. I thought it was a vibe, so I really liked it literally. So I have, as you can see, I have mine like summarize summer little, you know so. First off I will let you know that the cowrie shells you get make sure they fit the size of your braids. So my braids are skinny they're, pretty small, so I got some that are small. You know, but even even with nothing is small. Some are smaller than others, because I wanted like a little bit of a look to it, but yeah I pretty specific this one. This is, I think, one of the bigger ones. Let me see if I can find a smaller one for you. This is, this is big unless you have a smaller one here with not put with a cooler, not too sure, but here's another example. I think yeah. This is a smaller one, so you see the difference in size, so this is smaller than this one. So I have them layered throughout, and so I want to show you that I put them in well. First off the way I chose it is I just kind of picked around, but if you want it to lay a certain way, you can go ahead and pick rity chicly, but I just try to pick around where it's like. There'S some in the back. Some of the middle some up front, you know what I mean, but I kind of moreso put them down. I look towards the bottom of my hair, so there there's not really much up top, but this one is kind of higher up. This one is higher up, but still there's nothing like, as you can see nothing like on here, like really on top of the head, but more so down that I just I personally right, but how I did you to at least to show you and it's important To like notice the size of your braids, I still I can determine how you want to do it just because it might not go through. So what I did was to start it off I'm trying to pick one okay. So what I did was to start it off. I wouldn't go ahead and I put it through the end. So if the ends were troublesome to like get into the car shell I'll go ahead and cut like a little bit of it, I cut the end a little bit, but, for instance, let me take this one off I'm trying to take one one off. That'S easy enough. That'S already far down okay! Here, though this one's fry down take this off. So, for instance, this is the Cowrie shell right, you see, so what I'm gon na do is, but I'm trying to put it on this this way right here. This is the end of this here, so I either will cut it to put it through here or I will go like this. Go like this and scrunch it up. It depends on how small the opening is. This one is not too bad, so I'm gon na go ahead and go like this. No see it, I'm gon na put it in what I did was I just you see I've just folded the end a little bit so I put it in and then you see, I put it put it through right and then I put it through where I Wanted it to go, I wanted to go, you put it as far as it as you wanted to go, or as far as they can go to you want, and then I want to put it back in here. So I'm gon na go ahead and I'm put a scrunchie see. This also goes with the way that my hair was done. Like I said, I can use something this small because I did my ends very skinny down here or whatever, but I guess, if you did your sticker, you just get bigger cowrie shells or maybe you can thin it out at the ends like I'm breathing out. That'S that's kind of a lot of work, but I'm afraid to putting the karush shells the way that I put them in my hair. But if you have thicker braids, you can still put them in without thinning it, but it's just gon na be a different way. As far as I know and they're more YouTube tutorials on that you all right.
