So today I want to show y'all how to put cowrie shells count Kaori Cory, I feel like I don't know how to say like. Yes, I feel like, like those people who meant mispronounced full ox, like the people who say Fox lakhs calorie, I thought somebody's gon na be in my comments like no, it's pronounced, oh right, the C is silent. It'S from Africa with a French accent or something like. I don't even know these guys. I meet each other. I put these in your locks because I just found out and it's an obsession right, so I'm gon na show y'all two ways: okay, so which way do I want to show y'all? First? I think I'm gon na show y'all this way. First, the one on the bottom. Okay, so let me um, let me find a lot thin enough. Cuz I'll. Only like sucky part about this method is your locks have to be a little bit thinner like it can't be done on locks that are too thick and you'll see. Why, in one second, alright show body, then two things that you need for this okay and you're gon na need a rubber band to, but not to the end, so don't want to put it on the same one with this: let's do it so you're gon na Take your body pin and find like a softer point, maybe a weaker point in your lock at the bottom. You'Re gon na put it through you're gon na take yourself, and you see this - there's a hole here. You'Re gon na make sure that the bobby pin goes through the hole and you're gon na pull it through the whole body, pin you're gon na take that and you're gon na pull the lock sir and that's what I'm gon na do. That'S that's what I'm gon na do. Why are my hands so sweaty? Oh, my gosh, oh my goodness, anyway, now it's through! You see that okay, so let me get a rubber band out should have been prepared. I should have prepared better okay. So, what's this throw you're going to take your bobby pin? Oh you are going to bring this over Booya, see that and that's how you do it. I wish my rubber bands were lighter. So then you can't really see it, but that's not, but that's how you do it? Okay. So let's go ahead to method number two, and this is the first time I'm trying this method. So don't laugh. If I don't do it right for this method, you do not need any bobby pins. The only thing you need is a rubber band and your shield. Okay, so you're going to take your rubber band and, like the bobby, pin you're going to feed it through the hole. Okay, another person I watched made this look so easy. So, oh, it's easy. Okay, butterfingers! Why are my palms so freakin, sweaty, okay, so you're gon na take it and you're gon na feed it through? You know, I'd make a nut. My palms are so sweaty. Ah, this is so unbelievable, maybe you're to like stop this and go wash my hands or something am i nervous y'all make me nervous, don't thumbs down this video guys, I'm trying my palms are sweaty. It'S hot in here we'll see how many excuses I could think of before I actually get this in. That'S all I got anyway. Did I do it? Okay, that uh? Let me try to say the not that's the word I'm looking for. Would you created the not and you have our little loop here, you're gon na, take it and you're just going to rubberband it around your here like so, and look at that Q all right, cutesy Tootsie, so they're both pretty clutch. I, like the second one, a little bit better. I don't know why. I just don't like the idea of like poke your holes through my lots. I don't know if that I'll actually do anything bad in the long run, but I don't know it kind of puts a sour taste in my mouth and with the second method, you don't have to do it also with the second method. You could do it on thicker locks with the first method. Your locks have to be thin enough to be pulled through the shell, so it looks really cool on the on the end, but your legs do have to be thin enough to actually go through the shell. Also with the second method, you can place the show anywhere on the lock with the first method. You have to do it on the ends so, like all of these we're done with the first method like I said, this is my first time doing the second method, but uh, it's really cool and I like it a lot so there you go, especially for those Of you who have just gotten likes fresh, lock extensions and you can't do braids out, so you can't do anything with them. Shells are always fun and luxury, it's always fun. So here's a way that you can flush up your locks where you can scratch your creative itch without ruining the progress of your hair maturing alright. So I hope you like this video I like it is fun. prettyeyes1752: What type hair did you use and do you have a install , showing you doing them the size is perfect and seems not to be heavy my locs now are that size I did a big chop last year mid way my back I wrapped them with human kinky they were beautifu but too heavy I want to add some human kinky from the root the loc grew out a little thinner and the locs is on the shoulders I should be able to extend on that let me know where you purchased the hair

Cyphermunk: Cowry shells are not from Africa. They're from the whole Pacific and Indian Oceans. Cowry shells have been found in ancient "Anglo Saxon" graves on the island of Britain. Used as an ornament for a broach to hold up your garments. They were not Native there. They must have been traded over long distances and time.
