I’m always excited about hair decorating tools! With 5 daughters it’s always nice to have something to spice things up! Honestly, we were all very pleased with the results of this and give it a FAB! This wand has 30 reusable sparkling gems in 6 different shapes and 3 sizes. The gems look like they’re for younger kids because they’re bright colors and cutesy shapes, however, if it had more plain shapes and metallic colors it could have easily been trendy boho look for teens and young adults. It adds just a bit of flair to your hair, and it’s easy to use!
Quick Gems was a win on every front! The gems are reusable, and the whole thing is only $15! A great price for an easy-to-use fast tool that is fun for kids to jazz up their hair!

( upbeat pop music, ) ( machine whirring and clicking ), Hey guys, it's Brooklyn and -- Rylan., And today we are doing another Fab or Fail where we are testing out the Quick Gems Conair product here., It looks super awesome., I'm excited to try it. So, let's get on to the video. Okay, so I haven't looked at this., I haven't read the instructions. I am doing this all for the first time right now.. So this is Quick Gems by Conair.. It'S basically where you just bedazzle your hair in different strands.. I guess I don't know., I don't know, I guess it's like a hair, decorating thing: yeah, there's thirty sparkly, reusable gems in six sizes, six shapes and three sizes.. Oh, it's like a wand thing. Are there instructions? Yes, there are instructions at the very bottom.. Okay, let's see how this works., Okay, so after reading the instructions and putting in two triple A batteries, I think I know how to work this.. So you have to take like a tiny, tiny, thin strand Very small., Like a quarter of an inch and put it in this little area right here, and then you press this bedazzled button. Until you hear the jewel click and then you let go pull off and the jewel will be in the hair., So we're gon na try to find like a small piece of hair here.. I think that's probably good and then I'm just gon na come down to make sure it's smooth and then put it in the little hair. Slot.. Okay, I guess I just click the button. ( Machine whirring and clicking ). Did it click [, Rylan, ] Yeah.? Oh well, all right, then that worked. I mean I took a little bit too big of a piece. So now I need to just do a smaller one., ( Machine whirring and clicking ) Purple star worked. I'M gon na try a pink circle: now. ( Machine, whirring, ) Oops. I forgot to wait'til that one clicked. I mean it's still good. It'S still staying. ( laughing ). It'S fine I'll! Do one more in this strand. I'll. Do oh, a butterfly., ( machine whirring and clicking ) There you go that actually works pretty well., I mean it does what it says it's supposed to which is bedazzle your hair.. Now the question is: how do we take them off? I think you can just twist.. Oh they're, like springs, oh yeah., You just twist and they just come right: off., Pretty good., Pretty easy. Okay, so this is kind of what it turned out. Looking like.. As you can see, it lays super smoothly in the hair and it kind of just accents it. I like it, I think it's cool.. I think it's cool.. I think it's really cool.. Okay, so for this product on the cuteness scale, I would probably say it's around a six or a seven. Yeah probably.. It'S definitely going a little bit younger.. It'S got the purples. The bright colors, the butterflies., If there was more of a plain diamonds, silver-gold, look like prom style going on here. I would use it honestly. Yeah.. It was good, so I'd probably give it a six or seven on the cuteness scale and then on the how easy it was to use. I thought it was a nine. It was not hard to use. Yeah., You just put the battery in put the hair on, and the machine did the rest. How do you feel? I think I agree? Yeah yeah a nine., It was fairly easy and it didn't hurt you or anything. They're easy to take off. Yeah. It was instantaneous. And then price-wise you can find it at Walmart for $ 18.. You can find it online anywhere around $ 15. So that's pretty good. As well, I would give that probably an eight or nine as well., Especially because they're reusable they can go forever. And they come with little packages. So you can refill this so there's like you can use it quite a few times if you wanted to.. So I would have to say: what's your overall ranking, do you think Fab, maybe an eight., I would probably say a Fab for sure.. I would've, given it an eight or nine honestly. Yeah., I thought it was. It did exactly what it said. It was going to do it worked fairly easily.. It took us like two seconds to put all four of these in.. There are four right, Yeah, four in.. I thought it was great.. What do you think yeah Yeah I like it. Yeah all right, so it's officially an eight..
